Top Rated Lytho Creative Workflow Alternatives

We love that Lytho allows us to do everything in one place, from ingesting creative briefs to managing the review and approvals process, all the way through to reporting on the back end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We're still working out the best way to set up the notifications to work for our team and also how to seamlessly tag and communicate with other team members within the tool throughout the process (it's easy at some stages, but not at every step). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We ask a lot of the Creative Workflow team at Lytho to keep up with an ever-growing list of demands for new features to help our day-to-day work run smoothly. While they are always receptive to new features we suggest, sometimes implementation takes time to get executed. Thankfully, their team is friendly and knowledgable to help us find workarounds to keep us moving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This makes working with my team and keeping everything on task super easy. The tools that allow us to communicate all parts of a project ensures that no matter who jumps into a project or task, they're able to figure out what's going on and what needs done. I have to say the customer support we've received is always fast and friendly. This is a tool I'm using every day, multiple times per day and it's become the way our entire department manages projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My one feature request would be to allow recurring tasks. There are some tasks that I need to do on a schedule (once a week or month). It would be nice to set that up for myself or my team so we can save some time in setting up a new task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For the past five years, Lytho has been my go-to platform. I appreciate its visually appealing design, which makes it easy to modify tasks, titles, and deadlines. The new integration options have significantly enhanced my workflow. Lytho is an everyday use for my job.
Nik Nepomuceno our accoutn suport is great. He's such a trooper for all of our crazy questions.
Onboarding new team members is going well. Our complex processes require additional training time for smooth operation. Implementation is going well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it less convenient that task-level workload information is not as accessible as it was in previous years. This made it simpler to assign creative and content strategists to specific projects and tasks. A combination of Lytho's visual appeal and a more structured, project-management-like approach, similar to MS Project, would be ideal.
Our Zappier integration has been hindered by difficulties in selecting the correct projects within Lytho. While we've overcome firewall issues, the project selection process remains a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I started using Lytho Creative Workflow about 2 years ago when I started my current job. My boss told me that Lytho was easy to use and he thought I'd get the hang of it pretty quickly. He was not wrong. Lytho is intuitive. The user interface is easy to navigate.
Also for new users the Help section is a gem! Very clear instructions and easy to find.
The customer support is very responsive! Putting in a ticket is easy and I always get a response within the hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting for Lytho Creative Workflow has room for improvement but they've recently announced some changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support Team: The support team has always been exceptional -- Especially Daniel Salazar, Hannah Winingar, Cameron Neville in helping us work through our complicated request forms.
Improvement Follow up: When some of our suggestions made it into the product, we had a personal follow up that let us know our feedback went into action.
Speed to resolution: Whether support or something that escalates as a bug, things are very timely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the limitations in the request forms, in terms of formatting, are large hurdles for us to work around. This includes something like not being able to bold text within the forms, or add visuals. Addtionally, some safeguards would be great to be able to implement -- for instance picture quality validation for create collatoral. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lytho Creative Workflows a game-changer in the realm of project management, offering a streamlined approach that enhances productivity and collaboration. Its user-friendly interface allows team members to easily access project files, documents, and discussions all in one centralized location. Lytho did have a bit of a learning curve when we first started using it, as is the case with any project management system. I only wish there were a more robust color-coordinating option to make things even easier to see across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of Lytho is being able to organize work projects across an entire team, assign tasks, & track progress. It is easy to send out proofs with automatic reminders, and also being able to store files related to the project. The reporting features are excellent and offer endless ways to organize your information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that attachments/files uploaded into a request can be moved directly into a task. Or, files can be moved from the project files into a task. The current method involves downloading the file first, then re-uploading into a task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The highlight for me is the workload view. It's extremely helpful in scheduling designers work, as it gives me the visibility into what their schedules look like at an intricate level. I love being able to customize the level of efforts they need and see how much time is on their schedule. It's helpful in terms of rescheduling work around switching workload around from designer to designer. It helps the entire team prioritize work .
I also realy enjoy pulling reports. SUPER helpful for pulling stats. We've used it previously to asses our workload increase to advocate for more resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that the information I program in at a request level does not transfer into the project details. I usually end up just copy/pasting so it feels like a repeat step. If those could just transistion into projects details that would be great to save time.
I also don't like that you can't integrate lytho workflow with an Outlook calendar. Right now a project manager has to manually adjust a designer LOE, based on # of meetings they have per week to reflect true availabilty. if this was integrated into the workload, we could see the meeting times and it automatically deduct off of their time.
Our team is currently getting rid of our other project managemnt tool ( kanban) and solely transisioning all requests into lytho. We typically have to build the scope of a request right now before we can put it into lytho because we don't also have all information we need. If lytho had the option for two "requests" inboxes so we could differentiate between ones that are ready to be kicked off for her deisgn, vs ones that we're still building out that would be a huge help in organizing. It's flexibility and consistency. Although there are updates, they are helpful and don't change the overall experience in a negative way. The platform is able to easily be catered to individual and broad company needs. As someone who has been using the platform since it was inmotion, then ignite, now lytho – it has improved greatly over time and been very reliable. Any time there have been outages they are resolved very quickly. My team has evaluated and looked into other alternative, but to me it is obvious lytho is far superior. Two things could be improved. The first being that sometimes the platform can be a bit slow to load or produced an error page if you click between views/proofs too quickly. Toggling the deliverable button doesn't always stay toggled if you click out of the pop up page too soon, leading to sometimes missing deliverables. The second improvement would be to be able to reduce the number of pages and pop up boxes needed to navigate through to get to where you need. When submitting a proof or closing out a project there is a lot of clicking and loading pages necessary to do all the things necessary. (i.e. click to go to view, click project, click to open task, click to open proof to check comments, click to go to deliverables section – then click and wait for toggle, click out of popup, click task complete, click project complete, then click back to view. Altering route adds extra click through steps as well. Reducing the number of pages to click through and load would increase efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can task out different jobs either using a template or create tasks as needed. This is really helpful for when a new project arises or I'm only needed to work on a certain part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that I have to keep selecting my preferred view/layout every single time I navigate away from the full listing of projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
