I like how it offers multiple tools for onboarding and not just 1 or 2. There are tool tips, flows, modal and many more. The interface is easy to understand and therefore the learning curve is less, which makes it super productive and quick to implement. Lou is absolutely a powerful software for user onboarding. If you run a SaaS it is a must to guide your users on how to use your software and this is where Lou comes in. Is you personally recommend Lou due to their slick widget UI for your user onboarding process. The backend user interface where we would create the onboarding widgets would need some more improvements in my opinon. Lou allows me to create live tours, announcements and more on my website with the click of a button. It's really very easy because I'm a total code noob. Thanks to Loom's Chrome extension, I can click anywhere on my website to add a step to my tour. This makes onboarding really fun and my users are doing very well with it. I felt a bit surprised when I was asked to install Chrome extension for Lou. But it seems to make everything very much simple. I only expected site guidance when having Lou, but then I was amazed by the functions (or in fact called "Experiences") that Lou offered. From tooltips, hotspots, product tour, Onboarding, announcement, the interface is extremely simple and effective - I can design and format (with color, branding, images etc.) the messages / hotspots / tooltips in whatever way I need.

The "Builder" that Lou offered worked effectively for each function. It is very intuitive, with all the steps, guidance etc necessary to complete in just minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lou then require installation of some code snippets on the "Head" of the site, and some other codes for segmenting visitors.
