What do you like best about LogRocket?

I really enjoy the amount of sessions I have available to me, and how clear it is when a user experiences an error in app. The crop feature is very helpful when I want to send a snippet of a user session to our engineering team when a support ticket is opened for a bug related issue. I also really enjoy that we were able to integrate with Zendesk so we have recent user sessions available to us when investigating a support ticket. Creating Segments and using the Issues tab is also a great way to implement more proactive support into our workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

I currently don't get a ton of use out of many of the features outside of user sessions, the learning curve is a bit steep and the app can be a bit overwhelming initially but not difficult once you get more familiar. I would love to get a walkthrough on relevant features so I can utilize the platform outside of user sessions more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

LogRocket can show me when the issue at hand is user error vs a bug on our end. It is very helpful and time saving to have a replay of a recent session so I can identify where the issue is occuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

LogRocket allows us to understand our user behaviours better, and help identify user pain points.

We use LogRocket session recordings along side our in-app surveys. User's often leave feedback but they rarely paint the full picture in their comment alone. LogRocket allows us to go back and view exactly what steps a user went through before leaving us their feedback.

My team uses LogRocket 2-3x a week, it has become a core part of our efforts in understanding our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

It took a year or so of iterations to get our LogRocket sessions to a reliable place. Previously we experienced issues with full or parts of pages missing in the session replays. Our engineering team has put in a lot of work to make improvements over the last year and it is now fairly reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

LogRocket Session Replay gives my team a better understanding of our users pain points and frustrations. Especially as we use it in conjunction with our in-app usability survey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

It's like we are sitting with customer looking at their journey. We had a client with school 800 websites in US and logrocket helped us optimize our stores according to customer interactions with our websites. We daily check error pages, warnings and espacially if some customers facing difficulty ordering products. Also it's very easy to integrate and implement customer logs with names/emails. We use it regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

As of now I personally loved this, I even recommended on multiple events where courntries best speakers discussed and look interested into this kin of tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

You can replay user steps. This is extremelly helpful to debug reported problems. I basically go to logrocket, open a corresponding user sesssion, and just seing with my eyes what has he done there. This saves my time so much so I can not imagine myself without it. Also you can easily make your own user flows and do analysis why user leaves here and there. This is just must have for every web app, and especially for startups as it just will save tonns of your time. This require you only add 2-3 lines to get it working, and implementation is super easy, and clean, so I never been in need to contact customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

There is nothing to dislike, really. This is amazing product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I work on my own products, my time is very limited, as I work on them only part time. So I'm using every possible tool which will save my time. This one is the best on saving time bug reproducement, and analysis.

Also as startup founder, it is important for me to see user flow, and to analyse the ways on how I can optimise it. Also it helped me to see when users are not sure what they should to on the page, and I can see when they are confused.

Also I'm using it to read logs, but not like just text representation, but in LogRocket - logs are coming with visual representation on whats coming on. And those logs includes very useful http requests data, like headers, payload, response, etc.

Honestly when I saw this product at first time, I was hardly believed this exist, and was so happy that I discovered it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

I love how effortlessly it helps us identify and resolve issues. The session recording and reporting give us a clear, visual timeline of user interactions, making debugging and troubleshooting incredibly efficient. The PagerDuty integration ensures we’re alerted to critical issues in real-time, helping us stay proactive rather than reactive. We use LogRocket every day, across our entire organization, and it was incredibly easy to get up and running, especially with the LogRocket team meeting with us frequently for checkups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

The closest thing to a con that I can think of, is that there are often limitations on how many alerts you can have active at a time, or other metrics. However, after working with our support team at LogRocket, they raised those limits and ensured that we got exactly what we needed, and quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are several benefits to LogRocket in our organization, but the main one that my team sees is the alerting to notify us when our site is having issues, and the ability to go straight from the alert to the recording. This eliminates the time that it takes for someone to reach out to the user, get a recording of the issue, and then start working on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

It captures a lot of information about the user browser that allows me to understand what could've caused certain unexpected behavior or bad UX to the user.

It's great that it also provides the session not so much time after the issue occurred, I would believe it's instant!

It allows to filter by a handful of things that helps out while trying to debug errors: IP Address, email, user ID

It provides information about the device and location the session was recorded from.

It's really simple to use, even non-technical people can check logrocket sessions and track down a user and the session that caused the unexpected behavior

It's easy to integrate and implement all over your website!

We use Logrocket all the time and it helps a lot for the on-call engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

Nothing that I can think of logrocket that dislikes me. Serves the purpose in an easy and pretty intuitive way! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Client-side errors reproducibility: It allow us to have the current website/page state when an error happens and track it down to the root cause, as well as having access to all the browser console log

- Better debugging: It provides information about the user's device, OS, Ip address and other handful of properties that facilitate debugging, specially with webviews and old browsers

- Tracking suspicious behavior: It allows to track down an user's location while the session was recorded, which helps when tracking down user sessions from a different location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

I've been writing frontend apps for about 14 years now and the one thing I've always hated is reviewing frontend logs when investigating user-reported issues. Let's admit it, our apps either produce too few or too much textual logs and finding the right logs is like finding a needle in a haystack.

LogRocket converts that terrible debugging experience into what feels almost as if you were debugging your web app with devtools locally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

What I most dislike about LogRocket is that... I didn't come up with it first! Because honestly, I've written at least 2 in-house log parsing apps in my life but never even came close to this awesome product.

If I absolutely have to point out something that didn't feel 100%, it's the timeline UI in the network tab. It seems we cannot scroll horizontally within it (e.g. when looking at a 30m session), and the only way I found around this was to zoom out enough to see the area that I was interested in it (and possibly cropping the session). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I've expressed in my "what I like about the product" step, LogRocket minimizes the pain of debugging user-reported issues. With session replay. I get to see what the user had experienced without asking them to send screenshots; I can also see what they were doing before running into the issue that they reported, and even see the network requests which sometimes spares me the need to look into the API logs. What do you like best about LogRocket?

I love the way it allows us to integrate in our web or native apps. I have been using it since more than 3 years including my previous organisation and we never had to look for any other product for error reporting. Its easy to implement in any app and use it.

It can also be integrated with slack so whenever there is an issue or error, you get alert on slack.

You can view the whole journey of user for your app. It records the user's session but great thing is that it hides the private information like password, credit card, etc. which makes it more trustable. I am using it almost every day to ensure my app is bug free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

I am using free version of it because I felt its expensive. For 10k session, it cost $350/month or $3500/year which could be expensive for early stage startups.

Maybe if logrocket team can increase the quota on free tier from 1000 session/month to 2000 session, that would be awesome for an early stage startup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are still building our product and sometimes there are bugs which is not visible to our testing or development team and in that case if some external or internal user reports an issue, we simply go to logrocket, play the session of that user and Boom! we caught the bug.

Session replay is also helping us to understand user bahavior on our app.

Logrocket is also helping us with alerts whenever something breaks on our app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

LogRocket makes it incredibly easy to search for and find the exact user session you need, which is crucial for providing fast and effective support. As a non-technical user, I found it very intuitive and user-friendly - it was simple to learn and adopt right away. The data it provides is insightful and essential to our operations, allowing us to quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise. By enabling us to maintain optimal performance, LogRocket helps us deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensures we can operate smoothly without disruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

The only downside is the time limit on how far back you can playback recordings. However, this rarely impacts us since we don’t often need to access sessions from that long ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

LogRocket helps us efficiently review user behavior on our app, allowing us to quickly identify and resolve issues that may impact the user experience. It enables our support team to provide more accurate assistance by letting us see exactly what the user experienced, reducing back-and-forth troubleshooting. Additionally, when we encounter bugs, we can easily share session recordings with our product team, giving them the exact context they need to diagnose and fix issues faster. This has significantly improved our ability to maintain optimal performance, minimize disruptions, and ensure a seamless experience for our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

I love being able to replay user sessions as videos. It's really easy to scrub through videos, play at different speeds, see when users switch tabs, implement custom events, etc. I often filter sessions using the custom saved segments or by sessions where users visit a specific URL. Very nimble! I use it almsot every day. I present a weekly summary of usage to our team that summarizes everything I see in LogRocket for the week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

We use AG Grid in our product and the charts don't render. It's not a big issue but it doesn't make it a little harder to understand what our customers are seeing and info they're responding to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're an early stage startup. We don't have a ton of users yet. So every bit of usage we can observe helps us out a lot. LogRocket allows us to get the most out of every user session. We've also done a few user research studies. But LogRocket let's us observe people when they're in their regular workflow and operating with autonomy. It's really different than traditional moderated user research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LogRocket?

Honestly, the core features or purpose of Logrocket, which is related to UX, debugging user-related issues and digging into users, engage with our product. Outside of LogRocket's core offering, I truly appreciate the many articles, and tutorials that they produce surrounding the more user-facing technologies used today.

Their dashboard UI is easy to understand for non-tech folks. Additionally, their SDKs are very easy to implement and they provide great documentation and support.

I use LogRocket frequently to keep tabs on user behaviour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogRocket?

I can't recall running into any specific issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

For one of my projects we have both mobile and web applications, with similar features leveraging the same APIs. Sometimes issues may occur on either platform and using logrocket we are able to determine if the issue is related to the UI rather than the backend.

Additionally, when launching new features we are able to ascertain ease of use and frequency of use as well, to determing how a specfic feature is performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
