I went from using a 100% manual CMS to using Lexion and it was a night and day difference. Its AI is intuitive. One thing I especially love is how helpful the customer service managers are. They are always able to help and have implemented numerous suggestions that my team sent into their current system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion is great. The automations and flows take some time to adjust to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Lexion is that I no longer receive constant complaints about our contract repository since we've transitioned. The interface is simple and easy to use, and the AI extracted metadata has allowed us to do much more detailed searching and reporting. With our prior tool it was bulky and all metadata had to be created manually, with meant we had NO metadata! Also love that Lexion has the same person run implementation and continue as the CSM, which means we don't have to re-educate someone on our use of the tool. I've gone through many implementations where the implementation manager was great and then the CSM wasn't, and it makes the relationship much more difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Other than wanting certain minor feature enhancements, we haven't had any major complaints so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion is the best contract management system I have used. Implementing Lexion is a very quick and simple process. The system is very easy to use and their customer service is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Two downsides of Lexion are (1) there is no ability to disable users from adding signed contracts to the repository and (2) there is no ability to rearrange the order of documents before sending them for signature with the Dropbox Sign integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The implementation is incredibly fast. All of the pre-built fields and document types make setting it up very quick and intuitive. Our sales teams were up and running with it immediately with very little instruction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that could be better. For example, you cannot limit the access of who can upload a signed contract. We would like to limit this solely to legal or admin users, and that feature is not available currently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Onboarding and adoption by my stakeholders was an ease. The platform is intuitive and very simple making it easy to learn.
Lexion also carried the basic features making a solo attorney working with multiple teams powerful due to the messaging feature, e-signature integration, approvals function, and dashboard for status of contracts (minimizing the amount of pings from teams). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion doesn't immediately integrate out of the box with Asana or a billing solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion is super easy to use, and is the perfect way to keep track of contracts, legal requests, and what stage each legal request/task is up to. Our small legal team is able to be across each other's tasks, so that we can be aware of various developments within the business, and the integration of AI features has been a useful tool to improve efficiency. Further, the customer support has been fantastic - we're always asked for feedback, the Lexion team always make themselves available to run us through the latest updates or give us additional training where needed, and they encourage any insights to implement additional features in new updates. The document repository is a little difficult to navigate - at times, searching for documents can take some time, particularly if naming conventions and similar details aren't fine-tuned from the outset. As a new platform, there are occasionally a few bugs, and some features that don't have all the capabilities that would make them the most effective. However, by providing a bit of feedback on our end, means that these fixes are soon on the radar for future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the fact that Lexion is a one-stop-shop product that manages both contract review and repository ends of the process with everything in between. The interface is intuitive and easy to use which plays a big part in overall satisfaction if, like me, you use it every day. Workflow automation has also been a big help as we focus more on tracking formal approval processes/KPI metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few features that we got accustomed to in our previous solution that are not currently available with Lexion. One such feature is the ability to have draft messages automatically saved in a task in case you close out of the task itself. There have been a number of times where I've lost almost full emails containing my legal analysis of a contract. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Extremely easy to implement and iterate on intakes/workflows without the use of third party contractors. This is a massive competitive advantage vs. other CLM tools I've used previously.
- Ability to leverage the tool as Legal's operating system due to breadth of functionality - general matter management, template version control, negotiation, respository, etc. Most competitors focus on contract-specific functionality, requiring additional resources.
- Word plugin is super handy while working through contracts - super easy to manage version control and ensure updates are posted back to the intake.
- Template creation is crazy easy via the Word plugin.
- Licensing structure is great - the value you get for the price is an absolute no-brainer.
- Business adoption has been incredibly easy due to ease of use and variety of pathways to intake.
- Repository metadata via AI has been pretty solid so far. There are obviously constraints when dealing with AI, but Lexion does a great job to position it as a quick assist to capturing metadata vs. a set it and forget it feature.
- Constant system improvement.
- Reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Wish that AI Contract Assist was included in the subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion is super easy to set up and get running- we were on Lexion within 3 days. Staff at Lexion are also great and take feedbacks. They also created an individualized video for us to help us trouble shoot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Better pricing on the e-signature pricing so that we can have our whole process under one "roof." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
