I like the fact that support is also available via Teams. The guides are also well done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot report about any downsides. I am fine with everything so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Ledgy is how incredibly easy it is to use. The interface is super intuitive, making it simple to manage cap tables and stock options without feeling overwhelmed. The real-time updates are a game-changer, and it's awesome to have everything in one place, from investor reports to legal documents. Plus, their customer support is top-notch, always ready to help with any questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Ledgy is that it can get pretty pricey, especially for smaller startups. Sometimes the range of features feels a bit overwhelming, and it takes a while to get used to everything. Also, while their integrations are good, I'd love to see more options added. Lastly, occasional bugs can be a bit frustrating, though they usually get fixed quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ledgy is widely appreciated for its user-friendly interface and comprehensive feature set, making it a top choice for equity management. The platform offers seamless cap table management, employee equity plan administration, scenario modeling, and compliance reporting, all presented in a clear and intuitive manner. Implementation is straightforward, with the Ledgy team providing excellent support to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Customer support is a standout feature, with users frequently praising the team’s responsiveness and expertise. Many companies find themselves using Ledgy regularly to keep their equity structures organized and transparent. Its ability to integrate with various HR and accounting systems further enhances its value, streamlining workflows and maintaining data consistency. While it might lack some specialized advanced features, Ledgy's robust and well-rounded offerings make it an ideal solution for most startups and growing businesses. While Ledgy is highly regarded, it does have some areas where users have expressed dissatisfaction. Some users find that the platform can be overwhelming initially due to the complexity of equity management, even though it's designed to be user-friendly. The learning curve can be steep for those unfamiliar with equity terms and processes. Although the implementation is generally smooth, a few users have encountered challenges with data migration and initial setup, requiring additional time and effort. While customer support is often praised, there have been occasional reports of slower response times during peak periods. The frequency of updates and new feature releases can sometimes lag behind user expectations, leaving some advanced needs unmet. Additionally, while Ledgy integrates well with many systems, certain integrations can be cumbersome or limited in functionality. Despite these drawbacks, Ledgy remains a strong choice, though there's room for improvement in these areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Ledgy for almost two years now and we can say that it's simply amazing.
We would highlight the following:
- Its team. We had to implement in Ledgy a very complex share reorganization and Ledgy's Customer Experience Manager assisted us and got involveddirectly throughout the whole process from the begginning to the end. He took the time to meet us as many times as needed and answered our questions super fast. We were delighted with the personal attention received.
- Its features and its user friendly interface: we used one of Ledgy’s competitors in the past and nothing was intuitive nor user friendly, every action we had to carry out required previous study of complicated instructions; Ledgy, however, is very easy to use and intuitive. It has plenty of filtering possibilities, you can group the stakeholders, see all the transactions done and remove or edit them or create scenarios for the future and see its impact in the cap table of the company.
- Its helpcenter. You will find information, videos and instructions about almost anything you need to do on Ledgy. It is really really useful.
- The clear view of the equity plans that it allows, user friendly and easy to navigate.
- Its continuous improving of the platform according to the needs of its clients.
- Its availability to all stakeholders, as they can access to their portfolio whenever they want.
- Its integration with Bamboo HR, which is super tamesaving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The team at Ledgy have been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our onboarding/implementation phase. This has created brilliant relationships between various stakeholders, and as a result, the team is super happy with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were some bugs and issues that we experienced when testing the platform, but most importantly, these issues were fixed very swiftly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All Ledgy representatives involved have been friendly, respectful of time and business demands, and very collaborative. The platform itself is easy to use and there are options for workarounds in case your administration of options is not straightforward. Onboarding contact was responsive and helpful in implementing information, and was not pushing an unfinished onboarding onto the account manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing yet. There could be some stakholder view improvements, but there layout is already the best I have seen, so this is marginal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ledgy is a great tool to visualize the impact of equity based compensation for employees. It is rather easy to understand and offers quite some additional information on equity-based compensation in general.
It helps to move away from a pen and paper process towards a more digital solution.
The integration with standard HR tools is very smooth and uncomplicated! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sadly, it does not allow really advanced analytics of the distributed equity packages from the companie's point of view.
Also requested changes might take quite some time if not in line with companie's priorities.
What needs to change is that admins can actually delete transactions as well as documents without leaving a trace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
