Very simple UI, easy for employees to track and understand the value of their share options with simple scenario modelling

Some limitations with specific share schemes (growth shares, CSOP etc) mean that you have to 'reverse engineer' share schemes which is hazardous. Functionality seems to have improved however

We recently transitioned our cap table management to Ledgy and have been thoroughly impressed. The platform is both flexible and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and adapt to our specific needs.

One standout feature is its native support for equity instruments more common in the EU and UK, such as hurdle shares—something we didn't find at providers more focused on the US market. The user interface is well-designed and pleasant to use, contributing to a seamless experience.

The onboarding support was exceptional. The team guided us through every step, ensuring the transition and rollout went smoothly for our stakeholders.

Overall, Ledgy has been an excellent choice for managing our cap table, and we highly recommend it to companies looking for a robust and user-friendly solution.

What I like best about Ledgy is its user-friendly interface and the efficiency it brings to managing our equity. It's intuitive, much easier to navigate compared to other tools I've used like Global Shares or Computer Share. The platform simplifies complex equity management tasks and the customer success team has been incredibly attentive. Anytime there's a need for assistance, they are quick to respond and go the extra mile to resolve any issues, which makes the experience all the more seamless.

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

While Ledgy overall performs well, there are occasional hiccups with the reporting system where some data might be skewed. However, the best part is that the team is proactive in addressing these issues and typically resolves them within a few business days. The quick turnaround on fixes ensures minimal disruption, and I truly appreciate the dedication to continuously improving the platform

Ledgy solves the challenge of managing complex equity structures by providing a streamlined and intuitive platform. It simplifies tasks like tracking vesting schedules, handling grants, and generating reports, which used to be time-consuming and prone to errors with other tools I've used. Ease of use for employees - intuitive interface, requires minimal employee training

Customisable - plenty of filtering options, saved views and granular access control settings. Having tried a competitor, this really marks Ledgy out

Easy to onboard and integrate with HRIS system

It has everything you need to manage your cap table, employee equity incentive schemes and reporting

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

The occassional bug, and I would love more ways to educate stakeholders about their equity from within the platform. However Ledgy is continuing to develop the platform and their product team is highly responsive to ideas

Equity management can get incredibly complicated, with large numbers of stakeholders and multiple schemes. This would become impossible if sticking to Google Sheets. Ledgy simplifies and creates a trusted single source of truth

**What do you like best about Ledgy?**

Ledgy has been great in helping our company manage our cap table and automate the share option issuance. 

Some highlights:
-It has truely made our share option management stress free, with the templated agreements, integration with docusign and compliance reporting. 
-There is continuous improvement and additions to the platform
-Customer support is always timely and helpful; willing to jump on a call to walk you through something
-Onboarding and implementation was incredibly quick and easy

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

Some areas which I would love to see improved:
- Navigation in some areas - some actions (like "edit") are slightly hidden and difficult to find
- No direct integration with HMRC, and the exported files are too big to upload to HMRC 
-Filters and appearance of reporting

Ledgy has been great in helping our company manage our cap table and automate the share option issuance. It gets rid of manual admin work, reduces errors and keeps everything organised.

Ledgy is simople to use and the back up support from their team is exemplary. For example we changed our share options plan and had to have people sign an agreement, the team did the final configration of our document templates and loaded them all for us to use.

Ledgy has a great user interface and very easy to use - both for pariticpants in our incentive programs and for administrators such as me. Easy to integrate with our HR-platform. Great CSM.

Happy with the customer support, it does take time to set things up but great support along the way! I never used any technology for investor reporting before, but this one is pretty intuitive and easy to use whcih is great if you're not tech savvy like me :))) Have to say, saves so much time compared to excel spreadsheets

i guess the only thing i can think of at the moment is it does get a little buggy sometimes, but as i said customer support is great so normally resolve pretty quickly

Biggest thig is compiling all the data for reporting purposes can be a very tedious and long task, there is a lot of manual processes usually involved in getting things in a reportable format, whereas in Ledgy information is already presented in a very clear way and they have pre-set reporting that can be also tailored also to your specific needs. Overall, saves lots of time

I enjoy the layout of the transactions and documents in the platform, which is easy to use and provides all the functionality required.

I would like to see some more advancements on the reporting capabilities and the flexibility ofnthe automated granting, but there have been many improvements this year.

**What do you like best about Ledgy?**

The whole process from getting in touch, to the first demo, through to contracting and onboarding has been phenomenal. I have onboarded various SaaS tools before but never did they go out of their way like this to support us. 

We had many questions on how to best design our share option scheme, getting the right documentation in place, our HR system integration and Ana Silva has been incredible in staying on top of everything. 

Implementation took us longer than we expected (on our side) and I had to reschedule meetings regularly but Ana was an absolute star, making sure we always had speedy support when needed. Thank you so much for all your efforts.

The platform is very easy to use, our external accountants haven't had any problems either, and the dashboard view for employees is awesome. I love this tool and even though you have to do your own valuations, the price / quality is excellent value.

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

Perhaps a few more ''?'' buttons next to fields on the platform. Sometimes I am not 100% sure what certain terminology means.

In the employee view, they will see the projected value of certain scenarios (amazing feature), however that is if everything were to have vested. I'd love a feature where you could add an exit date on a scenario, so they can see how much it's actually worth, based on what has vested.

Easy admin to manage our EMI scheme, easy oversight of cap table, great tool for our employees to keep track of their share options.

**What do you like best about Ledgy?**

We've been using Ledgy for almost two years now and we can say that it's simply amazing. 

We would highlight the following: 

- Its team. We had to implement in Ledgy a very complex share reorganization and Ledgy's Customer Experience Manager assisted us and got involveddirectly throughout the whole process from the begginning to the end. He took the time to meet us as many times as needed and answered our questions super fast. We were delighted with the personal attention received. 

- Its features and its user friendly interface: we used one of Ledgy’s competitors in the past and nothing was intuitive nor user friendly, every action we had to carry out required previous study of complicated instructions; Ledgy, however, is very easy to use and intuitive. It has plenty of filtering possibilities, you can group the stakeholders, see all the transactions done and remove or edit them or create scenarios for the future and see its impact in the cap table of the company.

- Its helpcenter. You will find information, videos and instructions about almost anything you need to do on Ledgy. It is really really useful.

- The clear view of the equity plans that it allows, user friendly and easy to navigate. 

- Its continuous improving of the platform according to the needs of its clients. 

- Its availability to all stakeholders, as they can access to their portfolio whenever they want.

- Its integration with Bamboo HR, which is super tamesaving.

Ledgy is a great tool to visualize the impact of equity based compensation for employees. It is rather easy to understand and offers quite some additional information on  equity-based compensation in general.

It helps to move away from a pen and paper process towards a more digital solution.

The integration with standard HR tools is very smooth and uncomplicated!

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

Sadly, it does not allow really advanced analytics of the distributed equity packages from the companie's point of view.

Also requested changes might take quite some time if not in line with companie's priorities. 

What needs to change is that admins can actually delete transactions as well as documents without leaving a trace.

Ledgy is a great solution to leave the pen and paper apporach behind and to shift to a digital solution to sign equity-based compensation contracts. 

Also it is a great tool to offer to the employees since it makes the ambigious topic of equity-based compensation easier to understand.

The dashboards are exceptionally clear and user-friendly, leaving employees with no confusion about their vested options.

2. IFRS Reporting - this has revolutionised our reporting process. No more errors, clear and neat data with minimal input on our part. 

3. Cap Table Management - while we're still in the initial stages of onboarding in this area, it's already evident that it will significantly reduce the time spent searching for historical data and streamline modelling for potential rounds.

4. Support - the onboarding process, as well as any additional support requirements, have consistently been efficient and hassle-free. Notably, Armon Battig, Michelle Chin, and Luke McGee have provided exceptional assistance, contributing to our great experience.

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

1. Reporting -  the platform's reporting currently lacks a filter functionality, which would undeniably save us a considerable amount of time. Currently, we need to export reports from Ledgy and combine them externally to achieve the desired outcomes.

2. Connection with HMRC and Companies House - we had anticipated that Ledgy would offer a direct connection to HMRC and Companies House (which we believed it did). Such integration would significantly streamline our regulatory compliance efforts.
3. Electronic signature parners - currently, Ledgy exclusively integrates with DocuSign, making it the sole choice for maximizing efficiency. However, it's worth noting that if you haven't subscribed to DocuSign already, this entails an additional cost, particularly since DocuSign lacks cost-effective packages for small businesses.

Ledgy's platform is user friendly and easy to navigate. We said goodbye to all equity management spreadsheets and now rely on it as our true source of information.

There isn't 24/7 customer support. Our team is international, and we usually liase with investors from different countries and timezones. Not having a phone number to call, or having to wait for the next business day to solve bugs or issues regarding the platform was frustrating at times.

the investor relations tool is also very useful.

the design is not the most polished (though this matters much less than the feature set) and "indirect" ownership via SPVs is not always easy to model.

**What do you like best about Ledgy?**

We didn't yet have an employee equity plan when we invested in Ledgy and it was 100% the right thing to do to get a tool before attempting to set up the plan, as we got so much input, support and advice on the plan structure as part of the onboarding process. The absolute best thing about Ledgy is how much time and trouble it takes out of the administration of an employee equity plan, from granting shares, getting documentation signed, making changes to grants, terminating grants and all the while knowing exactly what is left in the pool.

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

Once data was uploaded it was tricky or not possible to bulk update data, I imagine that is something the team might already be working on.

**What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having complete transparency of our shares ownership and knowing how many shares we still have left in the pool. Time saving for the administrator of the plan. Visibility and improved understanding of the plan for employees.

**What do you like best about Ledgy?**

Ledgy is insanely simple to use. I haven't had to refer to any documentation whilst using or setting it up. I converted all of my shareholders from excel with a breeze and I now use it for shareholder updates as well as any transactions of shares.

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

I wish that they offered a generic employee share participation plan instead of the country-specific ones as the UK does not have a company-specific share participation plan. I also wished there was better facilities to organise the annual general shareholders meeting.

**What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I initially used ledgy to simply manage shareholders as I had all of the details spread across multiple excel spreadsheets. Since simply importing the details, I have discovered the power of being able to share KPIs directly with shareholders in real time as well as providing quarterly, monthly or annual reports.

Get going! Spend the time for setup early and reap the benefits early. Don't wait for document piles to grow big, get started right away.

Getting my portfolio organized. They've thought of all kinds of little helpers to help you get in your documents. Still, "reaching into these old binders" takes some personal discipline. Ledgy is a powerful tool. It will support you in managing all your shares, stock splits, investment rounds, etc. But it is useful if you are familiar with these financial mechanics.
If you need support, I have made a great experience with the customer support team on video calls.

The dashboards for the cap table provide exactly the right visualization for shareholders. I'm able to pull ownership reports and keep my investors updated, while managing all of my documents in one place.

**What do you dislike about Ledgy?**

The metrics reporting is getting better over time, but still needs improvement. If it integrated with Stripe or Xero and automatically pulled those reports, that would be easier. Another roadmap item might be the ability to automatically send preformatted update reports on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

I use Ledgy to update my shareholders, store signed investment agreements, and generally give a sense of professional governance.

We use a fraction of the features however they do the job perfectly. The interface is quick and intuitive and it's easy to get various professional-looking reports for shareholders or Management.

The monthly pricing per stakeholder is not adapted to a light usage such as ours.

It's replace Excel for our share register, it provides a single source of truth where we can easily make modifications, share reports, etc.
