LeanDNA is very user friendly and makes the boring ERP data more useful in form of charts or graphs. Trends over time and the ability to see the effects of changes in strategy are tracked on a daily basis. You can react much quicker to make the necessary adjustments if the change was ineffective, or better yet, if the change was very effective you can expand it to other areas to gain the maximum benefits. Improvements are constantly being made and they are open to suggestions for modifications, but patience is needed to wait for them to be implemented. One area where LeanDNA could improve is its capability for demand forecasting. While it excels in providing insights for inventory optimization and addressing shortages and excess, it relies heavily on the accuracy of upstream demand forecasts from external systems. At AGI, we’ve noticed that having more robust, built-in forecasting tools or integration capabilities could further enhance its value, particularly when navigating fluctuating market conditions.
In addition, I’m actively collaborating with each user to ensure they incorporate LeanDNA into their daily workflows and develop standard work around the platform. I really enjoy working in SAP, but there is some holes in the usage of the system, and LeanDNA fills those holes. After starting with LeanDNA we have a much better work flow, with way more correct data, esspecially regarding Clear to Build, which really have been a game changer for us. For material management, I havent found much that I dislike. It would be great if there were more features (past due plan flagging for updated dates, production attainment KPIs, ect) around the production processes to entice our production supervisors and leads to utlilze more frequently.
