LeanDNA provides leadership with an excellent dashboard that offers clear insight into what buyers are purchasing. It also enables my production team to communicate directly with buyers from the shop floor. I like the practicality of quickly and easily visualizing where there are excesses and shortages of material, which greatly facilitates decision-making in the planning phase. Additionally, the way LeanDNA presents everything visually and straight to the point, such as being able to check the total number of items with available materials and the total number of items with restricted materials. I think the least useful point is when the data is not updated, impacting the results and suggestions of LeanDNA, and an example would be the ERP update that is done at 5 AM, so throughout the day we don't have new updates on variations and materials that have arrived. Another point is that the teams that supply us with materials, when they set the material deadline in LeanDNA, the order appears as components okay, and in reality, they are not okay, as sometimes the deadline is not met. Some of the deeper analytics or filtering features take a little trial and error to fully understand, especially when you're looking to set up more complex custom reports. It would also be helpful if the system had more flexibility in how alerts or flags are generated—sometimes the default thresholds don’t quite match the nuances of our supply chain. Lean DNA is a complementary tool to our ERP that offers a much more ergonomic and visual user interface. The tool is rather intuitive and quick to get the hang of. The Widgets considered important are pre-established and allow for a quick global view of the processes. The reports are customizable and personalizable. A daily user can very quickly find their favorite filters and reports. Lean DNA accepts the entry of comments that allow for tracking elements and accessing information. The tool "communicates" with its user and suggests optimization proposals that they can choose to follow or not, depending on feasibility. It notably suggests reviewing certain supply parameters related to the item. The management and optimization of stocks becomes more analytical and simpler for the supplier who approves or not the proposed scenarios. Still little or not used in our environment, it is possible to assign tasks to Support Services and to share, collaborate on order book information with external parties like AirSupply at no additional cost to the Supplier. The diligence of users regarding the tool reinforces the idea that it is suitable. We still lack perspective on the use of Lean DNA to precisely identify missing or optimizable features. The report filters should be more accessible or more numerous to customize even more easily. Some column labels may also be unavailable, which can sometimes limit the analysis. LeanDNA is very easy to use, which facilitates quick onboarding. The support is excellent and the trainers are very involved, making the guidance very effective. It is unfortunate not to be able to choose to work with or without the SPLIT option. Moreover, the translations are not always optimized. This poses a problem for some colleagues who do not speak English, especially when data needs to be exported to Excel, where the display becomes confusing for them. Customization Limitations – Some dashboard views and filters are relatively rigid. More flexibility in customizing reports or creating user-defined views would make it even more valuable for diverse operational needs. That said, new users may experience a brief learning curve, especially when interpreting some of the analytics or exploring advanced features. LeanDNA presents data from an ERP in a more ergonomic and accessible way and, thanks to its algorithms, challenges the ERP settings with a different, more holistic approach. There is a slight lack of flexibility in the tool, caused by the fact that it is a common platform for all clients, which can generate frustration from the Business side that requests a supposedly 'minor' change but which turns out to be a product improvement. LeanDNA has all of my tasks in one place; I'm able to access my purchase lines, manage shortages, narrow down supplier issues, and track on time delivery with just a few clicks of a button. Launch was quick and easy in our plant, and the support is fast and reliable. I utilize this service daily for my work, as it takes all of my priorities and pulls them together into a single place.
