I love that Later is "approved" by instagram, meaning scheduled posts won't be hidden and considered posted by a third party app by Instagram and will still show up in people's feeds. it is also super easy to schedule posts and drag and drop media in, add locations, hashtags, and link in bio. I love being able to have my team schedule multiple posts ahead of time. We have one log in and my 3 person team is able to go in and schedule the posts that their assigned. The fact that it cannot automatically publish instagram posts with multiple images/slides makes it a bit behind FB Creator Studio, Hootsuite and Buffer. It's a thing of the past to have to manually publish such posts - so I hope they fix that soon. Also, to a new user it's unclear how to share to multiple platforms - and other services have the option to search tag accounts on the respective sites while also slightly changing the caption to suit each site. They continue to remove and change features without updating clients. Support is all via email. It has so many glitches. Sometimes it autopost other times it doesn't. Also, avoid a yearly plan. With all the issues I was having I asked for a refund and they said it was beyond 30 days so that wasn't possible (I didn't see a 30 cancellation policy when signing up for the year). If you do it monthly, you can just cancel the next month if it isn't working for you, but I'm out 150 dollars on an app that I barely use due to glitches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One, the system has grown to be too many things for too many people and platforms. It has become difficult to stay on top of what the system offers and how best to benefit from its features. Two, as social media platforms increase their baked-in features (e.g. you can now post to Instagram directly from your computer), the value of Later decreases, but the plans change to essentially increase the cost. Three, in cases in which I've identified reproducible bugs, it has taken a good deal of time for support to acknowledge the issue and many weeks for a fix. I really like that there is a Free option for smaller companies like ours. I upload a month's worth of content on the days I need them to be on, then I have my boss go in and fill out the captions.
