KPA Flex Reviews & Product Details

We use KPA Flex as our training platform. While more capabilities are available, this is the extent of our use. That said, we get a lot out of it. The trainings are pretty good but the real gold is in the API. Through that, we can integrate KPA Flex with our existing system. That allows us to keep our schedule of trainings and track completions in our systems while utilizing their training platform. It's fantastic. Also, the community and KPA employees are great. Both are incredibly helpful and responsive. And the initial setup was so easy. It is possible and realistic to get up and running within a couple of days. I work for a smaller company so we were able to get data imported completely within a day. The API integration took a little longer but even that was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have trouble thinking of things that I dislike about KPA Flex. I don't have anything but extremely minor gripes that are specific to our situation for the most part. I'd say that the best feature of KPA EHS is that you can easily report off submitted forms. We have various scheduled reports that send out automatically to higher-level management without us having to lift a finger. In addition, we can view past responses and generate a report using our specific filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much that I dislike about KPA, but every system has its flaws. I wish we could have more reporting on the companies and projects within the software. We can now filter down reports and see what specific companies or projects are selected. However, it would be beneficial if those companies and projects had a unique profile to see everything they are tagged in or put in additional information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

KPA Flex has brought our company safety program into the 21st century. The layout and ease of use makes this platform the only smart choice. Training at the click of a button, all recoreded for later report gathering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far my only complaint is when you create a composed training and select renewal dates, and then put into a composed training you can no longer assign that training as a one off. Sometimes we have a need to reassign even if they have taken it earlier int he year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part of about KPA Flex, is in the name. The flexibility the system has to allow safety leaders to be flexible for their organizations. We are able to create forms and workflows that work specifically for our workforce and the needs of our industry. Instead of telling our Operations folks that we can't do something and they need to adjust, we're able to adjust to their needs and get more buy-in from users. I wouldn't say I dislike it, but the training resources available aren't very beneficial for my organization. We are in a unique industry, and finding training on any LMS specific to us is hard to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find how user friendlly and costimizable it is. The more I use the program, the more uses my company has found for it. It is something that is used everyday across our entire company and it relatively easy to implement with project managers, foremans, and superintendents. As an admin on the user side of the system, KPA Flex allows for more customization and creation of company specific trainings, forms, equipment, inspections, etc. The support from our Client Success Manager not only teaches us how to use more features in the system, but quickly addresses any concerns we may have. New features are available often but I think the testing phase is lacking. Many of the new features have bugs or inompatabilities that need to be resolved. A more in depth beta testing with actual users would allow for better development before roll out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how user friendly the program is along with its continual improvements. They continue to listen to their customers on product improvements. I do not like that the OSHA case management is not configurable. I don't like that you have to fill out a completely sepearate uneditable form to be able to create your cases for OSHA Logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a data driven safety professional, I think KPA needs to open up its "Wordsmith" to allow renaming of datapoints to reflect the local vernauclar fo the company/culture languages (bilingual too). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
