What do you like best about Kota?

From setting up our platform through to deploying it to our employees and day to day usage, the team at Kota have been a pleasure to work with. The team are wonderful and super responsive when it comes to any questions (big or small!) and I feel truly valued as a customer.

The team made it really easy to choose and implement our benefits and the platform itself is uncomplicated and user friendly. Our aim as a company is to have our team engage with and use our benefits on offer and the simplicity of Kota has and will really assist with this.

From a back of house perspective Kota is hassle free for managing the benefits we offer to our team and I know that as our team and benefits offering grows, Kota will be able to support the management of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kota solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to Kota we didn't have benefits on offer, but we did extensive research into alternatives and found Kota to be head and shoulders above competitors. As a small start up that is growing rapidly, I am across many different projects but having Kota means that I am confident that benefits are ticking along nicely with no issues, meaning more time to focus on other projects. What do you like best about Kota?

We discovered Kota after we had already begun renewing our private medical scheme benefits with our previous broker.

Kota not only provided a more affordable quote than our previous industry-leading broker but also enrolled us with Vitality, which was an improvement over our previous scheme with another insurer. As a result, more employees have joined our scheme since we switched to Kota.

The most significant improvement for us has been the customer support since the transition. Kota managed to transition us between insurers within a week and were very hands-on throughout the entire process. They have remained responsive now that we’re up and running, and we actually have a dedicated contact person for any discussions. It's so nice! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kota?

We don't have any specific dislikes, but there are a few enhancements we would love to see:

1. Consolidation of Benefits: It would be fantastic if Kota could increase the range of benefits offered. It would be great if we could offer some additional benefits without having to find a different provider, such as cash plan medical, cycle to work, staff discounts, etc.

2. Global Office Management: We have offices in several countries, including Canada, the US, Malaysia, Australia, Mexico, and the UAE. It would be great if we could manage these international offices through Kota as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kota solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've integrated the Kota platform with our HR system, making enrolment a breeze. Now, we can easily see who is and isn't enrolled in one place.

Monthly invoicing helps manage our cash flow, and we can download member lists and invoices directly from the portal.

We're currently setting up our benefits on the Kota app and are excited to launch this to our staff. This will be our first opportunity to showcase our benefits in a comprehensive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kota?

As a company who have experienced huge growth across different regions, our processes had gotten manual, clunky and difficult to keep track off - and our data was certainly not in one place. The administrative burden was a heavy load. We knew we’d outgownw that process and sought to find something that would essentially streamline the various benefits and details in one place. Kota was the perfect solution for this!!

The platform is engaging and hassle free - feedback from the team internally was that a few clicks on their mobile and they had their health insurance and pension pots set up, in fact the word “slick” was used! It is user-friendly and by no means complicated - I work with busy developers who don’t need the hassle of reading lots of instructions or watching tutorials so Kota made the buy-in really easy for us to roll out.

The team are super! Very much our kinda vibe! Helpful, friendly, engaging. Shout out to Aine in particular who is our main contact. Having a dedicated slack channel with our Operations team and Aine has been really helpful when we have quick asks to help move things along and she’s always on the ball, nothing is ever too much!

The Bring Your Own Benefits isn’t something we’ve used it but we have plans to roll it out acroos the entire team very soon which is a fab benefit for us as a company wanting to showcase the various perks we offer the workforce in one easy to read and positive platform. What do you dislike about Kota?

That it didn’t come sooner!

What do you like best about Kota?

Kota has simplified what should be complex - setting up benefits like health insurance and pension. After looking at various options through traditional channels initially, nothing was a straightforward as Kota!

Everything was easy, both on the admin side and for end users. The care that we were given when setting up (and still get to this day, even for the smallest of questions!) has been nothing short of outstanding.

As our company grows, I know that it will be easy to onboard team members for benefits, and I know that any additional benefits we offer can also be managed by them.

What do you like best about Kota?

1. Love working with this team, their customer support is stellar. Personalised, quick, and extremely helpful.

2. Employee experience is fantastic. The app is clean, intuitive, and puts all of the control back to the employee, rather than having to go through HR/Finance to make any adjustments.

3. Implementation was very easy. They took on the role of educating the employees, and continue to be a single source of truth that are always very willing to jump on 1:1 calls to explain pensions and private healthcare plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot to like about Kota, and only one tiny bitt that is, by no means, a deal breaker:

I wish they had coverage for the US. As a small, multinational startup, navigating multiple countries worth of benefits systems is really tricky for a small HR team. What do you like best about Kota?

The Kota team have been amazing to work with. We've worked with Aine from the beginning and she has provided nothing but great support and sound advice. In addition, Trevor has lead some excellent webinars for our team providing education around pensions and health insurance which has supported our user uptake.

The platform itself was extremely easy to use from the beginning (saving us time going through brokers!) - from set up to features add-ons. We were genuinely so impressed with how fast we were set up! We have had very little troubleshooting to deal with and for any minor issues we came across, the Kota team dealt with these promptly without any hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reducing the amount of administration back and forth and time spent setting up employee pension and health insurance.

What do you like best about Kota?

Kota made it incredibly easy for us to set up benefits like healthcare for our staff. After experiencing the frustration of dealing with brokers or directly negotiating with large health insurers at my previous companies, working with Kota was a refreshing change. We now provide healthcare to all our employees through Kota, and everyone loves the convenience of the mobile app. I never have to worry about any problems, and their customer success team was extremely helpful during the implementation process. What do you like best about Kota?

What do you like best about Kota?

We have recently implemented KOTA and are extremely satisfied with our choice. The system is incredibly user-friendly, which made the transition smooth and has resulted in much easier management and follow-up.

It's also worth highlighting the exceptional support we've received from our contact person, Aine Kavanagh. She is not only highly knowledgeable and quick to respond but also demonstrate a level of dedication that truly exceeds our expectations. The high level of service we've experienced has been a significant asset and has greatly contributed to our positive experience with the system.

What do you like best about Kota?

How simple it is to set up. The support team are also fantastic and get back to me really quickly on any issues. It integrates seamlessly with my HRIS, and they continuously release new features and improvements to the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kota?

There's a couple of UX quirks that I'm sure will be ironed out as the product continues. Things like filtering or sorting could be a little more intuitive, but these are small things, and I think it's good overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
