What do you like best about Kentico?

As a software developer, I enjoy working with Kentico Xperience. Their developer training, documentation, and support are extraordinary and Kentico provides a lot of functionality for customization. They are following best practices when it comes to ASP.NET development and they stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. For example, I had no problem running a site on .NET 5 with lots of E-Commerce related customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

The Kentico backend application still runs on Web Forms and is a little slow, but they're already working on the next version, which seems to be based on .NET Core. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're building large websites with lots of content and custom E-Commerce integrations. Kentico, especially Kentico Page Builder, makes editing those sites very easy for our content team. Kentico 13 is way faster & easier for us to develop in for our client work. Clients are always pleased with the simplicity of content management once we hand the site over post-launch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Offer students lower pricing for subscriptions. As a teacher, I would like to teach my students about Xperience and how it works and all the capabilities and let some homework to the students to improve their skills. However, the free edition is minimal, I would like to teach them how to secure a page using permissions and roles, etc., and currently, it is not possible with the free edition.
