What do you like best about Kentico?

Kentico is really easy to start with. With most of the features coming out of the box you can roll you site out quickly. There is great support and 7 days bug fix policy. Most of the help you can get from community and documentation. Interface is fast an intuitive. There is easy to use visual designer for advanced workflow and marketing automation.

And one thing that we all like is Portal Engine. Interface development environment that can speed up Page template development and changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

Well there isn't much thing that I dislike now because every feature requested Kentico developed. What I think could need some improvement is upgrade process and staging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kentico?

That's a hard one! There are so many thing I like about Kentico. The best thing would be the ease of use. As a large Digital Agency who has a broad range of customers we find Kentico to be one of the better CMS systems out there to configure and meet requirements without expensive customisations. What do you dislike about Kentico?

I dislike the fact that Kentico is compared to other low grade CMS systems when it is far from that. It is a high end CXM system that is capable of standing up to the big players and stay standing up! Lets not compare Kentico to other lower end systems... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

We solve many problems and what I have realised is now days we need more than just a CMS. We need to use advanced concepts like Automation, Scoring and Segmentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kentico?

Kentico allows our developers to get off the ground with a new project incredibly quickly. It's a full-features platform for website development, rather than just a coding framework, so a lot of the boring, repetitive stuff is taken care of "out of the box", allowing the devs to focus on the more challenging customisations or integrations. What do you dislike about Kentico?

Until now, major version upgrades have had the potential to be difficult and disruptive as they've introduced sweeping changes and improvements. From now on they will be releasing smaller, more regular upgrades, which should help this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Kentico:

Use the "Portal" development method. It might seem weird if you're from a .NET WebForms or MVC background, but it's something that makes Kentico unique, and it's a strength. What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nearly every one of our projects involves some kind of integration or customisation - something that you can't just get off the shelf. We've found Kentico to be really great at churning out great quality sites without comprising on what you can do with the design, while still allowing us to get elbow deep into the code and build upon the platform to meet almost any customisation requirement. What do you like best about Kentico?

- Flexibility

- Lot's of places to introduce a little bit of custom code

- Excellent product support

- in some (smaller) areas it is difficult (but never impossible) to introduce Twitter Bootstrap and Responsive Design
