Kentico has been a great forum to cross-sell products to our members, entertain them while they wait in line and inform them of important events or upcoming changes. They are easy to work with and when we've encountered problems they are quick to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have any particular dislikes as I've had an overall positive experience with Kentico Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Kentico is that as a product, we have confidence that when new set of features are integrated into the latest release of the platform, that they will work seamlessly without customisation with the other aspects of the content management system. The Kentico support team is second to none. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because the platform comes with a lot of out of the box functionality, to deliver custom development workflows and process would take slightly longer than writing from scratch due to to the implemented approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is very easy to use. I've worked with several other products where the UI is not intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if Kentico had some "themes" where the small business could select a theme instead of requiring a programmer-level person to implement them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kentico's strength is in it's balance between enterprise capabilities/scalability, robust yet user-friendly client facing admin tools, and its wide range of out-of-the-box functionality. And one of the best aspects is their competitive licensing options, which allows us to spend more of our client budget on solution building rather than license fees. At BlueKey, its allowed us to build countless responsive websites, ecommerce stores, custom web applications, and integrate with a large variety of API. Finally, their EMS has upped the game on the digital marketing side by allowing us to implement personalization, segmentation, lead scoring, marketing automation, and employ A/B/MVT testing. While the out of the box ecommerce tools allow for the setup of an online store, they do require a fair amount of customization to get it up to a competitive level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kentico has excellent support. Anytime I have reached out to Kentico directly for support, the communication has been excellent, and the results have been excellent.
We have just upgraded to the full EMS license, and are excited to dive into the email marketing and A/B tesing capabilites it has (among many others). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have found the integration with Google Analytics eCommerce tracking has been difficult. I wish this was more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can summarize what I like the best about Kentico with the following:
• Powerful development platform for developers
• Easy to use for content editors
• Full featured solution
• Easy to customize / integrate
• Highly scalable
• Globalized
• Great support
• The people behind the product really care about it

There are only a few factors that I dislike about utilizing Kentico as a content management system. First it tends to have a slow build time for the full solution in Visual Studio during the development cycle (It's worth the wait though). Also multi-site installations not 100% isolated (good or bad depending on your situation, newer versions fix much of this though). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love the flexibility that Kentico gives us. We've used it on over 100 implementations, from small and simple to large and complex.
Compared to other CMS' we've worked with, I'd also like to recognize how responsive Kentico support is. Queries are answered quickly and efficiently. They also have a 7 day bug fix guarantee!
When we look at Kentico vs other .net CMS like Sitecore and Ektron, it compares extremely well on a feature basis, but the price point is more attractive. (They also actually put their pricing on their website, unlike some of their competitors... go figure!)
Finally, we like the culture of the company. We've been a Kentico partner for 5 years and have grown along with them. They really try hard to make a product that meets their customers needs. They are extremely reputable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been in business for 15 years and have worked with a variety of other CMS platforms. With the UX updates that came with Version 8 of Kentico, the one thing we did dislike, has been vastly improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kentico is a highly configurable platform that can be easily modified and extended to fit a wide range of project needs. The architecture of the platform has been really well thought-through, so there is no impediment to adding-on custom modules or integrating with 3rd party systems such as ERPs and CRMs.
Also the support is first class, very often getting back with a full solution within hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Historically the upgrade path can be tougher than it needs to be, if there has been any customisation. The recent v8 CodeUpgrade tool, greatly assists with this process, and it would be good to see further improvements in this area.
The e-commerce platform, is missing a few important features, such as, order cancellations and returns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Kentico for a long time and I like the fact it has improve from it's earlier versions. Listening to the clients and partner feedback is something Kentico do really well. Implementing modules and features to the latest technologies and trends means Kentico is always looking to improve.
For me the best aspect of Kentico is it's ability to allow developers to use Kentico to the maximum and then extend it further to make challenging websites! Kentico can be customised to your specific requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kentico is a large CMS, which means there is still lots to learn within it. To me this just means you have a CMS, which would suit different requirements, so this can only be a good thing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Kentico for web content management for nearly 10 years. With each upgrade the product just gets better and more sophisticated. In terms of loading and updating content, it really doesn't get any easier. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. I've trained interns and new hires on Kentico basics in under an hour so they can hit the ground running on day one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I talk to other marketers about Kentico, they perceive Kentico to be too expensive, and that they can still do everything they need to in WordPress or Drupal. More and more marketers are making CMS selections and needing marketing automation options, There has to be a better way to get in front of them and communicate about the power of Kentico.
Also the wysiwyg can be a little unreliable. But, with basic html skills, it's nothing that can't be worked around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
