Ability to automatically create re-directs when re-naming a page URL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its not user friendly, everything is hidden in the menu to change, its completely templated - to create a new unique page expect to shell out thousands if your not a developer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Kentico for our website and client portal and love the functionality, options, and customer service that Kentico supplies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've found that it is too complex for some users and it helps to have a technical/developer background. . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a great software to build a business plan and execution tactics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can at times lack the feature you expect from this type of software especially the cloud features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The admin interface is better than those of other CMS platforms I have used in the past, such as an older (2009) version of DotNetNuke. The intuitive layout makes it easier to devolve content management tasks onto less-technical coworkers. The Kentico E-commerce module is intended to work as a self-contained online store system. It would be useful if Google E-commerce Analytics were a simple plug-and-play integration; as it was, this integration required some customization. Sometimes I've needed to hunt for awhile to find a feature buried in the system settings, but with such a complex product I'm not sure how valid a complaint that is.
I would also appreciate better documentation and support of the K# syntax used in macros - I'd like to use these features more than I currently am. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It makes websites looks great and is easy to use. When switching from other platforms to Kentico, the entire website looks refreshed and more professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some user functions cannot be changed and can cause some decline in user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a semi-technical, non developer - Kentico enables me to run all sorts of marketing functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Such an amazing tool, but is quite expensive. Annual maintenance fees add up real quick in addition to expensive up front costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kentico straddles the middle ground between systems such as WordPress or Drupal that offer only basic core functionality but can be rapidly enhanced through plug-ins (of which there are many) and higher-end tools such as SiteCore that can support massive online operations but that require significant developer resources to manage effectively.
Kentico, meanwhile, provides a variety of useful features out of the box, such as workflow and marketing automation, at a cost that keeps it affordable for even a mid-size business. Its user interface can be customized to make sure users see only the things they need to see, resulting in an uncluttered work space. In our case, being a .Net platform was also a benefit, as our development team is most experienced with .Net and we run other .Net products in-house.
Support from the company is also first-rate, with the support team generally responding within 24-hours, and often much more quickly, to requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kentico is relatively little-known, which makes finding high-quality, third-party development resources far more challenging than with the open-source options or more well-known, higher-end tools. We have found a very good development partner, but only after having worked with a couple who were sub-optimal.
The lack of a robust plug-in market also means that some features that would require just a simple plug-in on WordPress become a full development project on Kentico, so costs are higher and timelines longer.
Finally, its reporting tools are sub-par given today's expectations. The existing reports cover a lot of the basics such as document inventories, internal search terms, and basic web analytics. But trying to create new or customize existing reports requires a near software-developer set of skills that shouldn't be required in a reporting engine in 2016.
