What do you like best about Kentico?

Kentico has helped us improve web experience considerably .. its also cut down a lot of chaos / confusion our team would face to run campaigns and implement ustom plugins.. we're still exploring how best it can be implemented but it has proven to be promising Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

Its pricy but its proving why.. can be a blocker for some teams smaller in size.

Learning curve also there initially..but now familiarity has built up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centralized website management for teammembers

Form builder is also easy to use, optimized, and simplified record management

Its really feature rich and while we are still in the initial stages - it can easily be a one-stop answer for many teams

Customization is not a challenge with this.. we can add modules

so far integration with our other dbs and apps has been simple enough with support from dev team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kentico?

Kentico is a commercial-grade CMS, and if you are a digital agency that supports its customers day in and day out, you need the same support from the vendor unlike open source options with no central support ownership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Out of the box, the tool can be light on widgets like you would see in other CMS systems; however, this is by design and Many useless widgets was culled from previous versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kentico?

Kentico is a mature and extensive product, it's robust, and flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

The latest Kentico version is missing core features (custom tables) and introduced fundamental changes (CMS_user).

As a loyal customer for over 10 years, I have upgraded several times. But discontinuing and changing such core features will make my next upgrade a complete nightmare. I have raised these concerns with Kentico support, but it seems like they don't really care enough to reconsider these changes. A BIG disappointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well...Kentico is our CMS on which the entire company's website is build.

You will be pleased to hear that for the next-generation product, we are introducing migration toolkits for the first time! These toolkits are specifically designed to help you migrate things like your custom tables and users to the corresponding new capabilities within our next-generation product. We believe this will decrease your upgrade time significantly and enable you to focus on how the new capabilities can help you expand your digital marketing presence.

What do you like best about Kentico?

As a developer, I like that the frontend part who is mainly an out of the box .Net Core MVC site. That let us do whatever we need for our customers.

From the content editor's point of view, the experience is quite easy, and they enter very quickly into the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

We've encountered several challenges in finding effective solutions through technical support. Often, we find ourselves investing time to articulate our concerns and engage with the support topics. We look forward to test the new support organisation of Kentico in the following tickets we will open. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have to build both B2B and B2C websites until now.

We like the ease of use for content creators. Also, the Kentico support staff will respond in a very timely fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We discouraged with the price increases. We just need a basic CMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using Kentico with 50 web authors who find it easy to use as compared to our previous platform. Love the WYSIWYG editor and preview function. It is benefitting us by reducing the amount of time needed to support the web authors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
