What do you like best about Kentico?

I have been using Kentico Xperience for the past 3 years and I think it is a great tool to use for any E-Commerce and Marketing Site. All the mass marketing project that we develop is on Kentico Xperience. The quick edit option and easy render are a few features that I think which makes Kentico Xperience one of the best solutions there is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

All the code rendering and debugging take place in a few minutes even though there are thousands of lines of code. As a team we can render code by tethering it to a primary server, saving us time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kentico?

We developed our public website with Kentico for the company I work for. We can easily develop new pages through the admin panel and move our developments to live environment. With Kentico, being able to carry the contents live easily and with the approval mechanism makes our work much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

Different users' changes can also be moved from time to time while bringing the contents and improvements live. Since the staging process can be confusing sometimes, it can cause the wrong operation. This structure will be more useful if it is made more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Kentico:

With Kentico, we used the scheduled task structure so that the data used in our company can be imported in bulk. Thanks to this structure, we are able to display the data we want on the website at any time and at the times we specify. Integration with other systems and admin panel management is very easy after training for a while. However, getting started immediately can be risky for a live site management. From time to time, we may send incorrect data to the live environment due to staging confusion. For this reason, I recommend it to be learned well and to be used by completing the trainings provided online. I would like to learn all aspects of Kentico and use it in my work. What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think it is very useful in content management by business units. Normally, contents had to be recreated both in test and live environment. Kentico found a solution to this problem. In our old system, it was quite difficult to bring even front end developments to live environment. It is a very useful product for user management and marketing. What do you like best about Kentico?

When you work with a team that knows Kentico, you can achieve excellent results. We have established structures that send automatic mail to the software team in case of errors, work with specified periods of data in our different systems, move them to the database, and display them on the website. We can create a new page and get it live in less than an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

When you work with a developing team that does not have detailed information about Kentico, error rates increase. You can reflect incorrect data to the live environment, and you may have problems with error logging and staging. We may have problems with images uploaded from the admin panel. It can get 404 errors due to the links of the created pages. Working with an experienced team is the key to success for Kentico. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

We developed our company's website with Kentico. We are able to meet the demands of our business unit by making content management and improvements. We can provide a quick service in creating new pages. By first viewing our content in the test environment, we can make sure that the correct data is transferred to the live environment. Our content entry efforts have decreased. We can easily move our files that can change frequently, such as visual and front face codes, to the live environment. Upsides: having the ability to learn and continue the knowledge of Kentico and all it has to offer for a company. Other upsides include being able to use data/analytics to help measure our content has been useful. Some of the things I dislike about Kentico Xperience or is the least helpful is the CMS itself. Can be somewhat confusing if you don't have CMS knowledge in the past. The downside to it is the layout of the site. Needs to be more clean and modern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kentico Xperience is pretty much a all in one tool for content management with its various customization features readily available to us. With this tool, website creation was a breeze without the need for much programming language experience. The documentation was clear and easy to understand. We like the product as they are always updating and improving.
