I was looking for a small ERP for some clients whose core business was Hotel / Banquet and other hospitality services.
the challenge was Back office operation where the Flow of Cash/ GL and other reporting issues were burning the management.
The main Objectives were:
1. Integrations were required with core and associate systems. (GL to Hotel management, Booking.com & Recipe management)
2. Workflow for SCM, HR, and work orders
3. IFS GL as per international standard
The System was easy to deploy and run/test with real data, in a few days I managed to create a Chart of Accounts and business units and generate some reports.
SCM/inventory (MM) was enough to meet any small-medium company requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was looking ERP for a hospitality services provider, we had common requirements. As you know there are several applications required to run 300+ Room *** HOTEL. these application work in silos which has to send their data to a centralized system.
I found Integration was quite a big challenge for this ERP, As I have worked on Oracle EBS 12, 19 - it is very easy to understand the system tables, user tables, and function tables in Oracle. whereas in Odoo I found difficulty in establishing integration.
the 2nd is Workflow management needs improvement, If I Set Hierarchy approval in HR/roles whereas I set a position-based hierarchy for SCM, unfortunately, I was not able to do so. the system didn't have limitations or resources...lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
