What do you like best about Karbon?

Karbon has significantly streamlined my workflow management. I can now effectively plan my day while still having ample time for additional tasks. One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to email my clients directly from their profiles. What do you dislike about Karbon?

What do you like best about Karbon?

Karbon is very user friendly. The platform easily integrates with Microsoft Outlook, making organizing emails a cinch. Karbon is easy to learn and customer service is always there is I have a question. I use Karbon daily and highly recommend this program to all bookkeepers out there! - Ability to manage the team

- Workflow management

What do you like best about Karbon?

I love the automation that comes with Karbon that helps to create efficiencies in job management and completion while still allowing for a user friendly interface and keeping jobs on task. The implmentation was relatively easy to undertake and had a lot of really useful templates that were already available and that were easy to use and universal to a large part of the standard accounting services that many firms provide. I had one minor issue that came up during my implementation that the customer support team had resolved in less than 24 hours which was stellar and completely hands off for me. The integration with my email and QBO is one of the best pieces of integration that my firm could benefit from and I could not be happier with it. I use Karbon daily and it has become an essential part of my workflow tracking, but also essential in job tasking and checklists which are inherently already built into the template jobs. What do you dislike about Karbon?

The only improvement I could ask for is more transparent time sheets. I'd love the timesheets to disclose the times that a staff member worked on a job (rather then just the time spent) to be more compliant with my institute guidelines, to better problemsolve billing and time issues, and to better support my firm if the time entries were to ever be challenged by a client or some other stakeholder. What do you like best about Karbon?

Karbon is like the command center for our accounting firm, seamlessly bringing together all our communications, tasks, and client work in one place. The collaborative email and task management features are a game-changer, allowing our team to stay synchronized and maintain transparency on every project. The visibility into workflows and the ability to delegate tasks directly from emails has saved us countless hours. I also appreciate how customizable the templates are for client work—it’s made our processes more efficient and consistent across the board. What do you dislike about Karbon?

The biggest downside for us has been the lack of a native desktop app. While Karbon works well in a web browser, a dedicated desktop app could offer a more streamlined experience and better performance, especially for teams juggling multiple tools simultaneously. Additionally, the iOS mobile app is quite limited and doesn't provide the same level of functionality as the web version, making it challenging to manage tasks and communicate effectively while on the move. What do you like best about Karbon?

The ability to manage workflow, engagements and communications in a 60 person firm with thousands of work items is critical to our ability to function. We not only function, but we are able to do more with less and improve our overall communications both internally and externally. From managing the inflow of emails to completing work and everything in between is accomplished using KARBON. We would be lost without it. What do you like best about Karbon?

How user friendly it is. Most of its design is created in such a way that allows new users to navigate through all of the different features it offers. As someone who started a job and took over the management of Karbon it was very easy to implement its programing into my everyday schedule. I especially like that you can find whatever answer your work order you are looking for from many different paths. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Karbon?

Reaching someone in customer support is very difficult and once you do and tell them your problem you are informed that they are aware of the problem and will have it fixed shortly but have found that it can take months. I even brought an issue to them back in 2023 and was informed they were working on it and then as of last week that issue or change has not been implemented. I also dont like that the system does not automatically regocnize that there is already a contact in the system with the exact same name but under a different category and it allows duplicates to occur making tracking our clients that much harder as you cannot merge a business with a person profile. What do you like best about Karbon?

Before implementing Karbon we were struggling with knowing where our work was at, and what communication had transpired. Karbon has given us total transparency over our work and communications, with everything in one place and available for our whole team to see. Furthermore, we have documented processes for every task we undertake, so on-boarding of new team members is so much easier. Total game changer, and we simply wouldn't be without it!
