The triage feature for emails and team communications is a massive time saver. Templates for work flows, and the ability to assign, view, review and action items with simple views and filters allows us to easily have a complete picture of where our workflows, outstanding actions and capacity scheduling for resource planning.
Karbon provides us with visibility over all aspects of our accounting business including communications with clients; assigning actions and status; workflow creation, scheduling and monitoring; project management; creating efficiencies and more. The new Practice Intelligence has provide even more valuable insights into our data and how we operate leading to reduced wastage and more profit. Easier to know what jobs to work on. The triage feature is quite useful. Customer support is great. We also got a great walkthrough to better understand how the features work in Karbon and it's been extremely helpful to track projects and make sure that we are on target for our busy season deadlines. Their customer support is responsive and helpful, which is great when we need assistance. One feature that could further enhance support would be an option for video calls with screen sharing when troubleshooting more complex issues. My favourite feature of Karbon's is its workflow system and the email integration. In particular, I like that I can see my status on a job at a glance and that I can make notes and tag coworkers on specific jobs/tasks. For email, I like that I can action and organize instantly. We like that email is integrated into Karbon but dislike that there is no grammar support. It would be nice if an auto-correct system was implemented within the textboxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The triage function is particularly impressive - going through my email is now much more efficient. Composing emails and managing tasks has become a breeze thanks to Karbon's AI. Although I appreciate the ability to assign work in Karbon, I find it a bit overwhelming. Additionally, it would be great if there was a client favorite tab to make it easier to access frequently worked with clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease with which information can be kept and created about all client and staffing interactions is critical - with a few clicks you can make sure everything (emails, comments, notes, tasks) can be kept together so at any point, anyone can go into a work item and see exactly where it's at, who's working on it, what's been done, what is yet to be done, what we're waiting on, etc. All without needlessly cluttering up emails and inboxes. Just amazing. The customer support is also fantastic - any issues are addressed quickly and all the support staff are always super helpful and friendly. We could not do what we do without Karbon. Karbon's new time and billing functions can be a bit buggy and there are some improvements in the works that still need to be made, but I'm sure once everything has been rolled out fully there will be no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The To Do list is my best friend. It helps to organize my life and saves so much time not having to hand write notes of what I need to do. Organizing/tagging emails by client helps me visually segregate tasks for each client. Having email threads clumped together also is such a time saver not having to go back to each email to search for attachments, and also helps you to respond to the most recent email on the thread (before I would work backwards in my outlook and respond to emails that already had responses but I hadn't gotten that far in my emails to see- this is no longer an issue with Karbon!) My outlook calendar is now integrated, but it doesn't pop up alerts/reminders so I still rely on that portion of my outlook calendar.
Searching for emails isn't always the easiest if you don't know the exact subject line, so I rely on my outlook Archive folder still to seach emails better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The upside of using Karbon would be that I can eliminate the need to use multiple platforms to get tasks done. Although we have chat software that we can use as a team, I love that I can mention someone in my work and have everything in one place.
UPDATE: Karbon is now incorporating AI into their platform and it comes in handy! For those TLDR emails Karbon now includes a nice summarize button which usually hits everything dead on. For those of us that struggle with composing emails, you can compose a draft and there is now a feature to change the tone and modify the draft for you!
UPDATE 11/19/24: One thing I originally disliked about Karbon was for the client request, you could only send those to one individual. Karbon has since updated that and we can include multiple clients on the request! I am in love with this feature! Additionally, we now have a new way to view triage/emails. If you are a gmail user you can setup your account to display the same way or if you prefer Outlook style then you have that option. Also with my firm onboarding new employees and clients this has been a great tool for the entire team to collaborate in one place! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One feature that I love is the client sections and being able to request information right from my work item. The downside to that is that if I am reaching out to one person but need to CC someone on the task as well, that option is not available.

The most helpful feature is the increased visability of all client information in one place. We extensively use the timeline to check on who has said what to the client in the last few months and with click of a button get an updated summary from AI.
However, there is far more to Karbon than this and no job is finalised in the office now without a workflow plan.
We also love being able to schedule emails, put the newsletters into low priority and save emails into later so that we can often during the working day easily attain zero inbox, which leads us to feel efficient and on top of growing workloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I cant encrypt emails. This is a huge factor within our business as we wish to be safe when sending sensitive information to clients. It would also be good to have a secure step before sending emails such as - have you checked the client's email address - this ensures that the emails that we are sending are going to the right addressee.
