IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting Pros and Cons

I like that 1&1 is a fairly large company that has a pretty big support staff and many different servers for its customers to use. I think the 1&1 account portal is simple enough to use and gives us control over many of the common hosting management activities involved with our accounts. For the price, we get a good amount of standard features and capabilities including good server storage space, bandwidth and email forwarding accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the renewal prices go up quite a bit after the first term on items. I also don't really like how 1&1 automatically renews products by default. I remember when some of our product renewals were coming up, we got an email notice with the new pricing and I was so surprised at how high the prices were compared to when we registered them. This service is the best I have achieved on the Internet, it offers excellent service plans, I like the ability to handle all domains, email and hosting service from its website, with an easy control panel.

Email is what I like most, when hiring a domain I have email service to use immediately, sent and receive email from the IONOS webmail, all very easy and fast, to not always open IONOS I use a synchronization program email, so I have everything synchronized on the PC, just put the IMAP / SMTP address and voila.

IONOS works perfectly, but I would like to be able to decide how to pay for each service, for example, I have several domains contracted and I would like to pay each one for a different TDC, have an option to add several payment methods and decide where to pay each of them.

I do not like the limitation of databases, customer service is only in English for the United States, the control panel has many options and it takes time to learn all Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

During my whole life, I have been using multiple Host Services when I see this change on 1&1 I got scared because I really love it as is and was a little bit worried about the migration process or the possible of losing information, who knows what could happen!.

Nowadays I'm still surprised because all my data stay untouchable, the service not only changes his face the performance improves, the attention it's even better, competitive prices and the reliable service to which you were accustomed.

This is not a dislike as could sound, I have a little issue with an email overquoted and I have to pay an additional amount to get more space, up to this point all right but my credit card expires and the charge of the email additional space didn't pass and all the account was blocked even the regular email current in payment.

I add the new credit card and have to call the support center to get the things working again, by the way, they have a great customer service center so don't feel overwhelmed when you have an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
