What do you like best about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
The affordability. Ionos is one of the cheapest website hosts I know of and you get a decent amount of web space for what you pay for. You also have a 'personal consultant' with Ionos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
How complicated they make building a website from the start of the purchase of a domain. They do not make the sign up simple (especially if you just want a normal Wordpress site) and upsell everything at every opportunity. The support is ok, but you can only email unless you want a call back between 10pm and 5.30am in Australia. Their support number does NOT work in Australia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
IONOS has a decent-looking user interface, and the standard domain tools are easy to use. They specifically make subdomains easier than most registrars with an option to click and add one rather than doing it via DNS only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
IONOS is very slow compared to premier domain registrars, such as GoDaddy. In addition, the customer support at IONOS is average, at best. The DNS propagation is also much slower than GoDaddy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intro plan was extremely competitively priced. The best option I thought, was being able to login to my WordPress admin panel from the Ionos dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
They constantly reached out to upsell additional services that weren't needed. They wanted to sell things like SEO services and consultations and were pretty pushy about it. Nothing. They are a predatory company with deceptive practices that take advantage of people by making things overly complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
IONOS engages in deceptive and predatory business practices in terms of transparency for cancellation and billing. They have billed me for things that I didn't request or sign up for, and when I found another provider, they billed me for another year, because they didn't send out a renewal notice, nor did they indicate that contract cancellation was required. I can install my website easily, I work with the basic plan, and the result I have obtained is perfect for what I am looking for, it has a variety of very good templates, you can choose the one you like the most, it is very easy to use I love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
I wouldn't say I like it when the page falls a lot, this has annoyed my clients, and its loading speed is very slow, this affects a lot, they should take these problems into account and solve them to give an excellent service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?
I transfered my domain from another company (Hostgator). What I like the most about IONOS is that I get privacy by default (and at no extra cost), so my personal details are not exposed to the public. I use a wildcard SSL certificate (got it for free with hosting), which is also a big upgrade with free certificates from other hosting providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IONOS is a pretty good domain registrar with the lowest prices compared to others. 99% Uptime with 30-day money-back guarantee, they even offer 1 dollar domains during special sale days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support team is not good as expected, The renewal prices are too high with average user interface. The data centers are not widely spread. Most of the data centers are in UK and US only. They only accept credit cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
