I have been using Intercom in the 2 companies already and nothing beats the usability, great web and phone apps, and their client support. For me so far it´s the best support tool for SaaS companies. Also, maybe it looks like nothing, but it comes very important the possibility to delete an already sent message or also to be able to post GIFs :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far so good, maybe the only glitch I see is the search engine for users. It looks like just posting the email address is not sufficient. Also, it would be great to be able to choose the owner of the contacts of the whole company, not doing it one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app is designed exactly how our support workers need it and with tools like macro, they are able to save time and deliver better support. At the same time, our customers love the Messenger, which is always at their fingertips, and they are able to get in touch with support intuitively and quickly. Intercom is not built for true email or lifecycle marketing. The email tool is very old and the reporting on emails is not there. There isn't a way to build easily a robust multi-channel program without the sacrifices of some channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has helped our small team scale by providing a centralized location for all customers and leads to interact with our organization. I don't really dislike anything although some things could be improved for usability. I'd love it if my outbound message lists could keep my preference for only looking at 'live' items versus having to apply it each time as well as a way to easily export a list of all of my articles (and filter by author) for easier auditing of Help Center needs.
