What do you like best about Intercom?

I have been using Intercom in the 2 companies already and nothing beats the usability, great web and phone apps, and their client support. For me so far it´s the best support tool for SaaS companies. Also, maybe it looks like nothing, but it comes very important the possibility to delete an already sent message or also to be able to post GIFs :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intercom?

So far so good, maybe the only glitch I see is the search engine for users. It looks like just posting the email address is not sufficient. Also, it would be great to be able to choose the owner of the contacts of the whole company, not doing it one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intercom solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a CSM, I can check easily what my clients were discussing with our support team, it helps me to have a better understanding of what are they dealing with nowadays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We appreciate your feedback around the search feature - one tip I'd recommend here is using the filter selection "contains" rather than "is" when searching as it tends to show better results. Great feedback around owner contacts too - I'll make sure to pass this back to the product team.

What do you like best about Intercom?

It is quick and easy to use. Additionally, it shows the customer's system device info which is my favorite feature for the non-tech savvy customers who are unsure what system they are using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intercom?

The app is designed exactly how our support workers need it and with tools like macro, they are able to save time and deliver better support. At the same time, our customers love the Messenger, which is always at their fingertips, and they are able to get in touch with support intuitively and quickly. What do you dislike about Intercom?

What do you like best about Intercom?

Easy to set up In-App posts. It also is great for segmentation of the audience and mobile set-up. The core of the product is the live chat and communication on web, but we do not use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intercom?

Intercom is not built for true email or lifecycle marketing. The email tool is very old and the reporting on emails is not there. There isn't a way to build easily a robust multi-channel program without the sacrifices of some channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Email builder, deep reporting on a subscriber level, easily change tracks based on email behavior or engagement. No integration with common ESPs or easy to set up without additional fees. Intercom to should be able to send data more easily then it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intercom?

It has helped our small team scale by providing a centralized location for all customers and leads to interact with our organization. The articles/help center, in-app product tours, and automatic emails have helped with self-service onboarding and continued support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intercom?

I don't really dislike anything although some things could be improved for usability. I'd love it if my outbound message lists could keep my preference for only looking at 'live' items versus having to apply it each time as well as a way to easily export a list of all of my articles (and filter by author) for easier auditing of Help Center needs. What problems is Intercom solving and how is that benefiting you?

Intercom has helped us scale our efforts with leads and customers and gives us more time back to work on other proactive initiatives. Some of the integrations help by providing visibility of all support questions asked to a shared Slack channel so Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and the Executive team can see what is getting asked or what is a pain point of our users in real-time.
