Make has a lot of really helpful templates you can start using straight away. I love how it puts the cookies on the lower shelf for people (like me) who are completely new to automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very easy to feel overwhelmed by the many options available. and trying to work out which module to use for what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Make helps make automations and rules possible within Notion for me that I'm currently unable to do via formulas. It's really nice that you get notified when the automation fails so you can get ahead of it. The user interface is also very pleasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not so much a dislike as just a very strong learning curve. If I wasn't looking at instructions on how to set it up? I likely would have been lost. It has so many possibilities to it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Make allowed me to build a saas-tool without prior knowledge of coding. I was able to learn a lot of things and use Make.com in many different ways. It is great that you can start with simple scenarios in the beginning and get more elegant and sophisticated over time.
The visual builder makes it easy to understand what you are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes when working with Airtable it is a bit annoying to get new fields (fields created after starting to work on the scenario) into a scenario as a variable. But that is really a minor thing to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With this tool, you can automate both day to day tasks. As well as serious projects at your enterprise. Even a child can handle the setting. And more functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a good tool for the beginner or inexperienced user. But there are also its shortcomings. The embedded database and its management is a nightmare. The same applies to any functions if they are more difficult than the entry level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Make is more powerful and flexible than Zapier and similar platforms. It makes it easy to call api endpoints directly as part of a flow without worrying about authentication, when a particular function from one of the saas products you're integrating with isn't built in. It also can handle things like arrays of results which other platforms can't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The migration from Integromat was very painful and not well planned by them. One big change is webhooks in integromat used to be able to be used on multiple scenarios/workflows, but now they aren't. This means ALL of your workflows that are in production using a shared webhook as the trigger will break and need to be reconfigured. Literally zero effort on their team's part to make this transition easy. Their documentation is also gratuitously verbose and disorganized, and they provide poor support via email only (slow to reply, reps often don't read your initial message). Finally, integromat and make are brittle - if one thing goes wrong in one workflow one time, it shuts off the workflow entirely until you manually go in and look. Sometimes it's just a matter of missing or malformed data sent by another system e.g. your CRM, but that shouldn't cause it to give up and shut off for all future triggers. It's very transparent they are trying to conserve compute power wherever possible with such fault intolerant policies. This issue makes Make seem like a consumer product not ready for real business use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the recent rebrand and 'upgrade' to make there have been a number of usability and bug issues introduced to the platform. I have confidence that these will be resolved by the team, but it has created an unstable environment in make for many months now. I still utilize integromat.com for my personal workflows and have avoided migrating all my key accounts to make.com till the bugs and reliability have been improved on make.com.
Integromat has so many different modules for connecting your Saas applications. I also love the flexibility they provide in regards to how many actions you can do for each connection.
The visual representation of the integration is a game-changer and in my opinion makes integromat one of the leaders in this space. I used to have to create separate diagrams to document the workflows, but with integromat the integration is self documented in a powerful and visual manner.
Their tool set provided for data manipulation, iteration, aggregation and so on is excellent and so far I haven't found a use-case that couldn't be automated with integromat. They even have an HTTP module which allows you to connect easily to any web service, even if they don't support it. This is also a game changer as it often times removes that last barrier to full automation that a tool like Zapier just can't handle on it's own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Make.com was released as the flagship product too early in the development lifecycle. There are still bug fixes for features that need to be released and make workflows more difficult on the new platform than on integromat previously. I have confidence that the team can fix these, but the amount of time it is taking makes it difficult to use the platform or maintain confidence in the tooling. Visual building of the integration is well-conceived and helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The licensing system is per operation, and, oh boy, those operations add up real quick. We have quite simple integrations and we had to keep getting bigger and bigger plans Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integromat.io (now called Make.io) is a really good solution for anyone who wants to make their life easier by automating their repetitive tasks. The website features an easy to use drag-and-drop workflow builder that is very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Off the top of my head, I cannot think of anything that made me dislike this platform. The pricing could be a little better, but they do provide pretty generous free limits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has usability far above its competitors. If you have used Zapier, at first it will seem strange, but when you work with it a bit, you will see that its usability and power are on another level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process-based pricing can quickly increase the number of processes used, requiring you to upgrade your account. If you perform very repetitive tasks, you might have an issue with the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It helps me keep tasks up to date. I save a lot of time by not worrying about certain actions because make already does it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is difficult to learn to use it.
Not much training on it.
It would be great that they had a training program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
