The system will email you to remind you the task is due or overdue. This function is a great prompt to ensure that your Quality Management System does not become non compliant. The implementaion process was very good with regular Teams meetings to discuss what data we needed in the system with the Ideagen team building the databases for each module with clear instructions from us. The integration of the system was easy as training was also provided by Idagen via Teams with all the training sessions recorded and sent to us so that we could go back over the training or train new staff in the use of the system. The system has now been fully intergrated into the business and used daily as this covers a variety of processes crucial to the management of our EN 9100:2018 standard. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** I think the customer support you get from Ideagen when you encounter an issue is incredibly poor, when you submit a ticket an AI system will look at key words in your question then send a load of article that "may" fix the issue. This type of support which is paid for in the annual renewal cost put the ownership of fixing the issue back onto the user. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ideagen quality management system manages several key functions that are crucial to our continued approval to EN9100:2018, these functions are; our internal audit program, the non-conformance register, calibration through the asset module and service and maintenance of our machine tools. My team has adopted and adapted to the sytem well, with easy to use and easy to find features. Workflows are easy to develop and customize and the reporting tools have worked well for us. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** To be honest, the biggest problem is with the company not the product. Since going from a small company in the US to being owned by a larger group in the UK, the service has suffered and the product is now a part of a bigger package that we don't need. Becuase of this there are extra steps and changes that we did not want, but "have to live with" for now. Imagine if you used Microsoft Excel every day as your primary program, but every time you logged on you had to look at a dashboard trying to upsell Visio or Powerpoint...even though you don't have the purchasing authority to buy them even if you wanted them. So far I have enjoyed using it. Their document control and lifecycle system works extremely well. The one thing that has stood out to me the most is their Help Guide. Any part of the system that I want to learn more about I can find in the Help Guide. It not only describes how things work but also provides examples. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** I don't think there is anything that I dislike about Ideagen Quality Management. If I could suggest an improvement it would be to create new employee onboarding training that companies can use to train their employees on using their system. The biggest hassle that we run into is when we do a poor job of training our new employees on the system which leads to them not using it properly and leads to a lot of clean-up. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides us with a document control and lifecycle system. ### 24. The Workload tab is a simple but effective way for staff to monitor their current tasks. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** It is pretty clunky, and whilst customisable, some things that we have used it for required us to implement complicated workarounds. We did have to put a lot of effort into setting it up in order to get it to do what we wanted. We've also integrated it into our in-house time recording system - to allow us to record time spent on calls and projects managed within Ideagen QM - but to do that we had to build extra tables in the Ideagen database itself, not for the faint-hearted! **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ensuring that all tasks involved in addressing customer support calls are addressed, signed off and a full audit trail recorded. It gives a defined structure to the management of each of the areas and a clear history / traceability of actions and responsibilities. The system can allow different access levels which keeps it simple for some and allows more indepth usage for those that need to have access more frequently. There is some flexibility which allows the system to be reconfigured to suit your business and forms etc can be integrated so that these points do not need to be redesigned. Support is great and very responsive. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** There is very little that is not positive about QPulse, when used fully and properly. It neeeds buy in from all that will be proposed as users and, like every system, it is only as good as the information that is input. Online training is a huge bonus and, where the basic training is relatively easy to grasp, understanding each of the available modules is a large undertaking. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are an ever expaning business and QPulse allows us to maintain consistency in our documentation formats and controls. System adminstration is easy to maintain whilst being user friendly. The implementation and integration into our department, along with all updates, have been seamless. When required, the support recieved from IdeaGen has been responsive and professional. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** There is little I do not like about the system as the adminstation section allows to you tweak all settings to a departments specific requirements. In an older version of the system, the one annoying aspect was the inability to simply press 'Enter' to initiate a search, however, this was resolved in later updates. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Management and distribution of local policies, procedures and protocol. The benefits of this is the reminders when updates are required and also the ability to request 'read receipts' for the documents. As we also use it to complete specs it is a very straight forward process & with the help of our Qadex / Ideagen contact it is made very straight forward if we wish to migrate the spec across. Our Qadex customer support team take the worry out of it and are always there if we have an issue. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** Sometimes when using the service it runs very slowly, or even logs you out, which can be inconvient if you are using it while working on a project. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is an easy way to get all relevant information about one product in the one place, and since multiple people can access at teh same time you never need to worry about chucking people out. The split Spec and questionnaire sections Im not a fan of but this became easier over time. The only other thing Im not a fan of is that each questionnaire has its own login, this could be useful for some people but for me it wasnt as I kept losing track of the login numbers. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** I cant think of a time that the system benefitted my work in all honesty! This keeps document reviews and revision numbers controlled and easy to manage. The implementation was professionally handled with great customer support from the Ideagen team, with the vast majority of the implementation handled behind the scenes until we had our online training. Integration was not an issue for us as we were already familiar with Q-Pulse, we did however need to be trained on the setting up and administration of the program. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** Setting up the background information took some time but that was only because we had not previously been involved with it, but after the training and a little familiarisation, it was fine. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Document control is the key benefit to our organisation. She is proactive with ensuring our account is organised and very responsive to any requests and queries. The system is relatively easy to use and is good for keeping our SAQs and specs organised in a logical manor. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** Cannot see the portal from the supplier perspective so can be difficult to help with queries. If rejecting some questions then the supplier may have no context from the previous questions in the section. This is the same for some questions that relate to earlier questions, but you can no longer see them. Updating the format for an SAQ/spec is restrictive. Would be useful to get alerts e.g. an email that lets you know when a supplier has completed a new spec, for example. It relies on checking up rather than being triggered. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automatically triggers suppliers to review specs/SAQs and reattach new BRC/GFSI certs when they have expired. The notifications can be configured in a dynamic way to meet individual requirements. Easy to use as a general user. Customer support and quick to respond and very helpful with questions and incidents. Easy to implement once you know what you are doing but training and assistance are provided. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** Notification control is only done by dates based on the raised date. It would be far more beneficial to our company requirements to have a selectable option to allow this to be done as: Stages set via a template so that when they become active the days the owners have is based on the close of the previous stage. Hence, if a stage / Stage action is set for 7 days, they will have seven days to complete their actions from the time of their stage becoming active. The current system does not work well as all dates are based on the raise date. This is okay but as time goes on, if some stages take longer than planned it puts the later stage and action owners behind time notifying them that they are overdue when they can't do anything about their workload as they are not yet active. Our staff only need to know when they can do something and how long they have to complete it. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Document, process control is very detailed within the system and we have configured it to best assist with our daily requiremets throughout the company. ### 49. It has plenty of different functionality such as signing off documents once they have been read which is auditable. Other things like the support team are great, whether you contact via phone or email responses are quick and help to resolve the problem quickly. It is a great app that you could easily integrate into daily business life and use it everyday especially if it is a key part of your role. As I use it as a user as well as an administrator I can say that the implemntation of Upgrades for the spftware are second to none and performed quickly. Any issues that arise are resolved quickly by the support team. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** I can find the application a little confusing at times which section is next in the process but I don't use the software as a user all the time. **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its great for SOPs for the business as staff have to sign off to say that they have read them and IQM provides this solution.
