There are tools that cover all aspects of work, to help streamline and record all processes, which all interlink with each other.
Good visuals for analysis and workflow for admin and users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is duplication for some things, like sign offs for example on documents. Can be quite costly for licenses and time consuming for setting up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One stop shop for document control that easily meets the requirements of ISO9001, including document management, problem reporting, change control, audits & supplier records. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The desktop client is starting to show it's age while the web client is not quite ready for release Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although it is very specific software, with a little bit of creativity you can make it work for specific need of your company. It is major upgrade if one had used excel/access databases to manage Quality/Safety previously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software set up is vulnerable to changes in you server/network updates. Any changes can result in some functionality being disabled (e.g. messaging, reminders, documents upload etc.). Fortunately you can fix it fairly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Been able store documents and keep track revision dates/updates Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process to upload and activate a document is overcomplicated.
16 Digit sign in has shown to be a major put off to using the system (webversion)
Cannot create links from sharepoint to qpulse successfully (Known fault by Qpulse) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This system is significantly better than a paper-based QMS and it is really good value for money. It is so configurable, that you can tailor a great deal to your situation. The modules work very cimilarly, making it easy to pick up what to do wherever you are in the system. It covers the main bases of a QMS, and the electronic signatures function is a lifesaver in these remote working times. The links between modules is a brilliant feature (where it is in operation). Messaging is useful, as long as you don't over-use it. Being able to carefully configure individual permissions for different requirements is also really brilliant. Overall, I like the system and it goes down well in audits. It has a background audit log to record what happens (but note, it does not save all attachements that were ever attached, so you need to accommodate for that for data integtriy purposes). There are bugs in the system, which Ideagen are not prioritising to fix, but do impact daily administration, such as the internal pdf convertor not converting all information correctly, so it needs to be done manually. Report Designer for getting information out of the system in nice reports is absolutely awful to use unless you spend a LOT of time getting used to it, and even then the reports aren't exactly pleasing to the eye. Further more, there are some great functions not carried through to all modules, like linking to the Document module isn't possible in all modules, the search function for supplier doesn't include the business scope field, and suppliers don't have keyword field. One really annoying thing is only being able to have one of the "active" pop-ups open at a time (at least in the client this is the case), so you can't quickly open something else (anything else in fact) to check a fact while you write up, which leads to a lot of save, close, open something else, check, close, re-open.... you get the idea. Flexible software that allows the system to be adapted to the needs of the business. No business in the same and it allows Quality to be managed as required by the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Emails through Q-Pulse can be annoying as on a big site they are sent through very often. This means that sometimes important information can be missed by the sheer number of document acceptance emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how custabmizable the software is. It is great for all the documentation needed for ISO 9001 compliance. I like that workflows, training, and workflows can be built and documented within the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is so detailed and has so many features that it is not intuitive to use. It has been a great challenge within our organization to get all employees to use the software and use it correctly because they have trouble using the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its one stop place to keep all your documentation which is QMS controlled Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not very user freindly. Very long winded and many clicks to get to where you need to be. Once documents are loaded and if you turn them into PDF's you can not return them to Word etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User friendly, easy to setup and make changes as primary users. Helpful training team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many additional features that we don't need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
