It's well thought out system with an unparallel architecture which integrates quality management processes seamlessly. The seven aspects of the Ideagen system that makes it the best in the market place are:
1- The system features an excellent architecture designed to support Quality Management activities intuitively and with great efficiency.
2- It provides a unified environment where critical processes are seamlessly integrated for maximum efficiency.
3- Communication between the Customer and CAPA modules eliminates the need to maintain separate customer complaint logs and manage related CAPAs separately.
4- Built-in flexibility allows the system to be intuitively customized to organize workflows according to specific organizational needs.
5- The system is very easy to implement and the learning curve is really steep to hit the ground running on day-one.
6- The cloud based system can be used from anywhere in the world with internet. They have a vibrant user community and an excellent customer support. Every time I logged a ticket, the customer support promptly responded to help me resolve my issue.
7- Ideagen provides the use of API to integrate IQM with other applications and systems such as ERP, MES, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't see any downside of using Ideagen Quality Management. There are always room from improvements and I find Ideagen open to suggestions and willing to include new functionalities in their development road map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Ideagen Quality Management System is an all-in-one solution to our quality management needs and is vital to our laboratory practices. It allows for all our quality and governance work to be performed and recorded in one place and has been in use within our pathology laboratory for over 10 years. Accreditation evidence is easy to gather and is well liked by our independant assessment body. The system is easy and intuative to use by all members of staff on a daily baisis. Without it, our quality and governance systems would be much more complex. It is a system we could not function without. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The training module of the Ideagen Quality Management System is the least intuative module and does not meet our requirements. As such, we have never implemented this module and have had to adopt a paper based system.
The web based version of the system does not have the same functionality as the desktop version but this may be rectified with subsequent releases from Ideagen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Q-pulse software has varible options on managing all aspects of Quallity Management. We use it for Risk, Document Management, Non-Conformance, Audit and Supplier Management. Having this in one place suits our needs and give a consistent single approach to the Quality Management Team and our staff. This is also UKAS friendly and supports our maintainence of the ISO standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The back end management/admin can be cumbersome and limited in some areas. Also extract of data can also be an issue with us sometimes having to copy data to extract which add in data you might not need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ideagen's Quality Management software has been absolutely pivotal for tightening our governance procedures in Radiology and sharing procedural documentation between the teams across our multiple sites. Robust version control and simple distribution and acknowledgement systems make it easy to evidence that documents have been shared and seen by the correct individuals, with a clear audit trail.
The interface is simple and easy to use if you are familiar with a microsoft style interface. The system is highly tailorable to your business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dates on reminder and messaging e-mails are stuck in the US format and cannot be changed, even by the ideagen support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ideagen quality management have a very supportive team who are always willing to help out. I have regular contact with the team who can always point me in the right direction for support. The system is easy to use, and was easy to set up with the support from Dana and Gareth. Zak has been incredibly helpful in one of our current internal work projects, and Vicky is an essential contact who is always quick and responsive to my many requests! I occasionally run in to technical errors or glitches, but these usually resolve on there own - or I can flag to the support team who work to fix quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system provides us enough structure to build a solid QMS on, but we can also customise it enough to work within our more unique manufacturing environment. We had a good experience recently migrating from an on-premise install to their SaaS product. The whole process was relatively smooth and happened on time and within the expected budget. The main downside about moving from an on-premise install to the SaaS version was the reduction in speed. Obviously we understand that there are many factors which can affect this but I believe it should have come up in the scoping as something that could be an issue. Having a secure, easily accessible site that allows our documents and version control processes is essential in our work and Ideagen's system provides all of this. The user interface is fairly intiuitive and easy to use by most people. There is a lot to unpack in the background at admin/manager level which is very welcome as we can do some customisation of our own. Generally, we like the system and what it offers. The manual for the system is very good and explains everything in detail and I have no concerns for passing it onto our new users with minimal personal training from us. We are a new team taking over the administration of the system and it has been easy to implement across groups. In the past, perhaps due to lack of understanding from previous administrator, the system has not been in frequent use but we are integrating the system across different teams now and so it will be used much more frequently. The IT support could do a bit more hands-on help. We were lucky enough for one senior engineer taking on our case who was very helpful when we had a lot of trouble sorting out our account as previous administrator left the post without any handover notes. However, the general support helpdesk is too slow or unspecific with their responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am currently using the desktop version of the cloud hosted v7.6.1.0. It is really good as it looks exactly the same as Q-Pulse and offers me the full functionality for the CAPA, Audit, Document, People, Suppliers and Asset module. I would not be able to have a successful Quality Management System without these modules. Training was also not required which for over 400 users would have been very challenging.
I did have to raise tickets during the UAT testing and was really impressed with the ticketing system Ideagen use, especially the ability to record the issue. Best ticketing system I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been a longtime user of the Q-Pulse system and I cannot really fault the current desktop version as it still has the required functionality. I have not had a chance to review and evaluate the web-based version of IQM but will be undertaking this in Q1 2025.
The only issue I have with system is the current cost as we have gone from ~£11,000 to ~£55,000 per annum which for a public organisation (NHS Scotland) is a considerable increase and did require a substantion business case to obtain funding. Its fortunate that the porduct is well embedded with my QMS and that it is a great product! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Document control-set up and forget because the software keeps you on schedule to review.
Simple workflow set up-almost anything you think you need to track can be set up in a workflow that will guide you through the tracking process and allow (if set up for it) the attachment of all documentation.
Our team uses this almost daily as we track proficiency testing, calibration services, inquiries, an more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would prefer a better report mechanism. The default reports are difficult to read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ensuring we can collate all documentation within a validated system and enabling us to link non-conformances, audits etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little hard to get your head around initially as you are so used to your own previous systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
