I have since used the CRM tool within iCIMS. While I'm uncertain my team utilizes it in all the ways it can, I would say that its a nice place to organize and keep things together.
I enjoy the option to text candidates, but I do not use it as a marketing/recruiting tool to blast messages like some might. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There seem to be more glitches within the past few months. Issues like opening 'notes tab' on a candidate profile create errors and send you back to the home page. I have been in an iform deep in convo with a candidate only to have everything deleted and an error ok. These types of things have been a burden on accomplishing work tasks. I like that it is a global system, we are able to have consistency across our company when using it. I am in the system every day and find it easy to use for both an admin perspective as well as a candidate. Implementation was great, we loved our representative, and he got use setup well. I love that icims is very configurable. It is easy to build reports and it is easily usable with other systems (UKG) to make recruiting and onboarding processes very seamless. There are some unusual kinks that make icims extremely difficult to work with
- minimum of 10 entrance criteria
- clauses aren't reportable in offer management
- not all fields can populate externally on job board
I also feel like there is a lot of push to an ATS (new icims) that looks aesthetically pleasing but is way less intuitive to use. I feel like there is more emphasis on improving things that don't need to be fixed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about iCIMS is the extremely logical setup that the platform has. As a User Admin since 2015, the ability to configure the platform in a company-specific way, based on my own company's logic and how a user's employee OR candidate uses it, is very logical. The one thing I dislike about the iCIMS platform is the lack of depth when it comes to using data visualization in-house. Yes, there are programs you can integrate with from another vendor, but sometimes I wish there were better data visualization options within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Given that I have used several CRM, ATS, Talent Systems, etc. over the years, iCIMS Talent Cloud has been better than others with user experience and like the offerings for the hiring company/customer using it. More recently have been impressed with the ability and customer service of our dedicated account person who is knowledgable and relatable to us. I would certainly make sure to tell others especially compared to other systems which often seem to be payroll systems in disguise versus supporting true recruiting and applicant efforts. My experience with the platform is that 99% of the applications are highly customizeable and adaptable to unique workflows or a varying workflows within the same organization. We are a global organization and we are integrated with Workday for our HRIS. Each region seems to have variations in their workflows for what candidate information is required upon application and upon hire and with iCIMS we are quickly able to adapt and make changes to the system by configuring custom fields, iforms, and reporting. Our dedicated account manager provides us amazing insights on best practices and is always available for discussions when we're stuck or need assistance! We currently are using CRM, not CXM, which does leave a little to be desired when it comes to reporting usage statistics for our TA team, but our account manager has passed along our concerns and support has been willing to work with us to create some customizations and make updates to the application which have been helpful to improving our process.
