The thing I like most about Huntress SAT is the fun Monthly content. They make a boring topic, Security, fun and easy to follow. They have a couple characters they commonly use to teach about different types of security threats that are often end users are often confronted with in everyday work. What I like best about Huntress Security Awareness Training is honestly just how simple it is. Anyone with any level of skill can follow along and there is just enough challenge to the person following along with the training slides/videos that it can be informative and keep them involved along the process. The setup of the SAT was also very easy and Huntress support is always very prompt and able to provide well structured-useful answers to anything you may need. The more that I have used and participated in the SAT training, the more I appreciate the simplistic and yet still engaging methodology behind how the team has built this service. The in-built phishing emails to test you and your clients are crafty enough to require you to do a double-take, especially if you haven't had your first coffee yet! I like how it engages users. From an admin standpoint it's ease of use and implementation stood out to me. You're able to choose from a wide selection of content that gets updated often. We opt for quarterly trainings, every 3 months, alongside the provided monthly trainings to keep users on their toes. The phishing exercises are very easy to integrate as well and if we ever run into an issue (hardly ever), their support team is always quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I would say I dislike about Huntress is how limited the notification system is. I've found that if you need to notify more that 10 users about a task it can be tedious but not hard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Onboarding was an absolute breeze and we still get replies to our emails ASAP even though they already had our money. Contacting support is easy. Integration took about 10 minutes and setting up the GMail rules was well documented and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The managed SAT phishing emails are a little bit "personal account" focused. My staff doesn't use their work email in a way that the phishing email is likely to catch them. It means that we can't really ever just turn on the managed SAT & Phishing services. Huntress SAT is not only a fun animated series of training and learning exercises, but it is also real world usage. DeeDee, the animated little girl hacker is a cute and innovative way to keep user (known as learners) interested in the core traiing material. However, it also allows you to use the phishing tests to run simulations to see how cautious for your learners are and lead use these phishing simulations as training tools. The only real drawback to Huntress SAT is in the fact that I wish there were more targeted phishing tests. Since the company is world wide, they cater to a lot of different clientelle, many of which are outside the US, so many of the tests aren't realavent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've worked with a number of Security Awareness Training services and they all struggle with the same fundamental problem. They fail to catch people in a state where they are receptive to learning, and instead become "a thing they have to do". Learning under duress is known to be ineffective, but what else can we do?
Huntress' use of humour and tailoring the content to the users' needs in the moment (e.g. Phishing Defense Coach) demonstrate their deep commitment to breaking this cycle and making content "land" so that it moves actually moves the needle on security awareness.
The product is easy to use and configure too, and plenty of features without making them feel overwhelming or complex. Setup is a breeze with simple integration with Microsoft and Google. The biggest bugbear is that the offering still isn't fully integrated with the rest of the Huntress portal. You can SSO into it with one click from the main portal, but after that everything for SAT is in a separate pane of glass. I believe they are working on a unified experience but not sure when we'll see that. The fact it throws out separate reports is also a little annoying - having SAT on the same monthly report as the other services would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At our MSP, we want to provide great security awareness training to our clients, but we don't want to spend time curating and scheduling content. With Huntress' managed approach to SAT and proactive phishing, we set it and forget it. It's an easy integration into the client's M365 tenant. There's no messing around with DNS records for email. Everything works directly via the M365 API. You can also upload your own custom conent if you need to. We count on it to protect our clients every day. When Huntress sends out the emails to the users notifying them that they have training, it sends them a number to paste into the webpage to log in. That process is a bit clunky, but I guess I undestand why it is done that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The topics are valid and very educational, it is pretty easy to track participation and where they fall on their knowledge of Cyber Security. if we include the phishing module as well it is
as an administrator of the solution i find it really easy to setup organizations i bring on within minutes. the M365 integration is super simple for anyone to hook up.

Out of all the SAT offerings we've tried, Huntress was by far the easiest to configure and maintain. The Campaign setup is smooth and just works.

The 'report message' functionality seems a little behind. You have to create an anti-spam policy in Defender to allow an external autoforward, as well as create both a contact and a shared mailbox.
