They fail to catch people in a state where they are receptive to learning, and instead become "a thing they have to do". Learning under duress is known to be ineffective, but what else can we do? Huntress' use of humour and tailoring the content to the users' needs in the moment (e.g. Phishing Defense Coach) demonstrate their deep commitment to breaking this cycle and making content "land" so that it moves actually moves the needle on security awareness. The product is easy to use and configure too, and plenty of features without making them feel overwhelming or complex. Setup is a breeze with simple integration with Microsoft and Google. The documentation is thorough and for the most part gives you exactly what you need. We enjoy that all trainings are the same theme and make it fairly straight forward. It helps engage the user and get them interested. We find that this platform is far better at educating the user, as it is more than just a 2-3 minute video about a topic with a cheesy quick at the end. The questions throughout Huntress' training makes sure the users are engaged through the entirety of the training. We also enjoy how realistic and customizable the phishing simulations are, such as DocuSign, Google Alerts, Microsoft Alerts, etc. They are common and line up with real-world phishing attempts from threat actors. Lastly, we also like how easy it is to implement with Microsoft Entra/Azure. **What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?** The reporting feature of the Security Awareness Training platform could be enhanced. You can get the data that you need but it is a bit tricky to figure out initially. The reporting is almost too simplified and that causes some confusion/lack of functionality in my opinion. We have found that the customer support model isn't very good. They only allow chat and cases, no calls. Working toward teaching kids to stay safe online and Instilling hard security practice is a great thing, but I cant sell this to my lawyers, doctors, CPA's and Office administration of my manufacturing facilities. i could think of a small handful of 300 customers who would enjoy this training. we have a competitor of curricula ONLY for the cybersecurity training and phishing simulation, and while it has animation, they are definitely geared toward adults. The benefit for us is that we don't have to create lessons as there are pre-made modules to choose from, and the training asks questions throughout so you know that users are engaged.
