Review Summary

I think the vignettes in Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training are super cute and fun. They're easy to engage with and relatively quick, yet smart because they make you think even when you're just watching animated videos. The training has been effective in helping to quickly realize phishing schemes, which is something we all recognized organizationally. I find it very easy to manage since I've taken over, aside from the reporting aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally, as the administrator, the reporting is garbage. I wish that it was easier to create custom reports, that it was easier to set up dashboards that I could quickly see without having to click through multiple times. Also, it would be great if that were something that I could tie in directly to our SOC overview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The "managed" part is real. Phishing simulations run on their own, training gets assigned automatically, and reporting is clear enough to show clients their risk without digging around. Content is short and relevant, so employees actually complete it.
As an MSP, having SAT integrated with Huntress EDR and ITDR in one dashboard is a genuine time saver. Setup was fast, the team is responsive, and the value for the price is hard to beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of multilanguage support is a real gap too, especially French, which is a must-have for us in Quebec. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Huntress ISPM has recently come about and looks to be a promising additional layer of security.
Updates to the ITDR UI have been great and an overall improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The SAT port could do with some much needed tlc to bring its fuctionality like the rest of the Huntress portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The modules are fun, the training is easy, the quizzes are engaging, and I love the depth of knowledge we and our clients get from the training. Huntress goes out and cherry picks things happening in the wild to bring back as lessons for us all and that rocks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only think I dislike is the inability to filter out who will not be using the training (e.g. mailboxes no one actually uses) easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We really enjoy that they automate the learning and training assignments after you do the initial setup. We used to spend hours scheduling trainings/phishing campaigns manually with Webroot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We found that the phishing campaigns did a much better job of catching clients. When a client falls for a phishing email, they get assigned additional training related to the phishing campaign. Not really a disklike, but the clients feel the shame and sometimes get frustrated about the additional training requirement. Clients and us internally have noticed that the training videos can seem a little slow. The dashboards and reporting could use some refinement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It teaches the subjects in a humorous way, which makes it easier to get employees to complete the training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really wish there were a persistent leaderboard. Some of our employees were genuinely excited to compete, but they lost interest once their scores were wiped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is its practical and engaging method of delivering cybersecurity education. The training is straightforward for staff to understand, featuring relevant examples and simulations that effectively reinforce positive security habits. Additionally, it offers clear metrics and reporting, allowing us to monitor progress and assess how effective the program is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One drawback of Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is that certain modules may seem repetitive to employees who already possess a background in security. Furthermore, although the reporting features are helpful, having more detailed insights into each user's performance would allow for more targeted and effective training. I really like that Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is monthly rather than once a year, which helps keep the training fresh and effective. The videos are short, professionally made, and cover interesting topics, making the training fun and engaging instead of dry and boring like other trainings. I also appreciate how it explains in simple and fun ways how attackers work and what to look out for, making security training enjoyable and continuously educational. The audio in the videos is always in English, even though the text can be translated and videos come with subtitles in other languages. Also, currently, there is no way to control the timing of the trainings as they are always monthly, but this is expected to change in Q1 2026 to provide more options. We’ve been using the Huntress SAT internally for a while now, however we’ve also been rolling it out to our clients and it’s been great - they especially like the ability to create custom training materials Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A little more local (Australian) content would be great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
