Hook's training material is relatable and entertaining in a way unique to the Cyber industry. Reporting is concise and their suite of phishing templates is expansive and convincing. There are a plethora of options when deploying a campaign providing an administrator with the opportunity to tailor phishing tests to recipients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see a scoring system per individual. Something along the lines of a profile for each end user that provides a risk assessment based on their performance in training and internal phishing campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The executive reports are just what I need to explain how informed our community is regarding our security awareness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far so good. I have been using the product since Oct 2023 and my request are answered in a timeline manner. The product is nery user friendly and the reports are really helpful. The support staff are knowledgeable and eagered to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked the ease of onboarding, the templates, and the robust reporting functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel the hook security platform needs some UI updating in the partner portal. In addition customer support has gotten really bad. No proactive communication on potential contract renewal, account was completely disabled which affected our own clients. Then when problem was rectified wasnt told my agreement had been renewed without our consent. This issue led to big issues and us wanting to terminate the agreement but being told we were bound by the terms so have to be forced to be a continued partner with an organization that lost its way as they have grown. The UI and features are super user friendly. Content is realistic, well done and engaging. It's not dry or unbelievable like some of the other vendors on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't say I've found a downside yet. We're early adapters and really enjoying it so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The simplicity of use and a huge number of realistic phishing templates.
Our ability to defend against unneeded spam attacks is made possible by Hook Security's simple yet effective anti-phishing and anti-spam toolkit.
Hook Security provides SCORM files, enabling connecting THEIR instruction with my LMS. The burden of creating and maintaining an up-to-date training program has been significantly reduced.
Hook Security is very affordable. You don't feel the cost impact, yet you get much value.
The phishing simulations mimic real-world scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Despite their individualized training, the instruction is lengthy. Hook Security is a little difficult for novices, but it is simplified when we concentrate on the modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the methodology of the training material. Hook isn't focused on the "haha, gotchya, and you're a terrible risk in our organization" -- they're focused on the "let's learn together how to become more security-aware". To get employees to participate in the training, they have two methods - humorous and more formal - to match your Org's culture. I was very thoughouly onboarded by one dedicated person who built a customized task list with videos which helped tremendously. After using and demoing several competitors, I feel 100% comfortable recommending Hook to others. While they're a "smaller" company at the time of writing, that doesn't stop them from having all of the "big" company features, plus some. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have yet to find any downsides to using Hook. Unlike bigger competitors, you are not treated as "just another number". I feel like my business is valued and appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since at current time cyberattacks are increasing day by day so there is a great need to spread the awareness about different types of Phishing attacks which are in market right now.
They provide such a interesting and eye-catching training to the employess so that they can get the knowledge about all suspicious emails and save their organization before any loss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monthly subscription is very costly so people can't afford so easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use and the huge selection of real world phishing templates. Pretty straightforward integration with auth systems. Great support staff, quick response questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not many downsides that I've found. I think the training sessions would be more useful if they were tailored to the specifics of the phishing email. They are a bit generic. Addressing the parts of the particular email that were red flags would be more helpful to the user in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there were more training programs for users who fail the phishing simulations. I feel as if there are only a few that I would use for phishing training specifically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
