What do you like best about HCL Commerce?

Re architected HCL Commerce is the best fit for all e-Commerce customers, be it large, medium, or small-scale customers, unlike the old legacy WebSphere Commerce Platform. Its technology stack and architecture align with the current industry trends using Microservice based headless architecture for the core commerce engine and frontend using React. Also, the product upgrade lifecycle has been considerably reduced and well defined, unlike the earlier version.

Another significant benefit of using HCL Commerce is the stead performance with the tool and minimal impact or zero downtime during the ThanksGiving or holiday peak sale season, unlike other commerce packages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCL Commerce?

I would call it an area for improvement instead of a dislike, and it's the painful steps to upgrade from an older version. It would be great if there's a well-defined process and technical support to upgrade from an older version of HCL Commerce to the latest version. Most of the customers which we have interacted with have highlighted the considerable time for upgrade and painful steps. So this is one of the areas to improve. Recommendations to others considering HCL Commerce:

HCL Commerce is a very good digital commerce platform that helps to set up an e-commerce website quite easily or migration path for migrating from their existing e-commerce system to a stable and large e-commerce platform.

The product also provides all the needed features and flexibility for large and medium e-commerce customers in most domains to set up, enhance or maintain their e-commerce website and catalog. It also helps in multi-country rollout without many hassles. And also, it supports multi-currency, language, and other needed support available Out Of the Box within the product. What problems is HCL Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?

Customers needing warehouse or store-specific catalogs and pricing can be easily handled using HCL Commerce, and it's well defined within the Product framework. Also, customers get a very good commerce management center tool with HCL Commerce. It helps to setup an online website quite easily with very limited time and cater for end to end commerce website flows such as browse, search, purchase flows like add to cart, checkout and place order. With HCL Commerce we are solving the problem to publish, maintain and integrate a really stable website with many other applications. The posibility of create Virtual Portals is pefect to implement new sites in few minutes and make testing before production.

What do you like best about HCL Commerce?

This software allows me to target the new market and provides me full information about it and even allows me to customize the experience that is possible through its APIs system. HCL has really helped me in handling the digital commerce which does not require any technicality. It has enabled me to integrate with my other online channels so that from one platform I can run my business from all aspects like marketing, promotions, selling, personalization etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCL Commerce?

Through this software not only I have enhance the sales but also I have driven more towards the marketing as both the fields are closely associated. Now I give the product description in a video and then I upload it on my channel for the better understanding of the customers. I have also removed every hurdle that was inconvenient for my customers regarding the product availability and search.
