**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

everything is in one place, items are copy and paste friendly, all policy downloads hit from the carrier quickly

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

I wish that it was more user friendly from a prospecting standpoint, with pipelines available. Including automation and track of pipelines would eliminate 2 other softwares from our toolbelt and everything would be in one spot. 

Also, communication from the client gets saved into the log history, but not our reply back to the client. If all communication could appear in a log if daily, that would be huge.

Hawksoft is very user-friendly and convenient to use.

Only downside is that sometimes it can occasionally need to upgrade during work hours.

They help me keep track of the clients I’m assisting and keep everything associated with complex clients really organized and neat. It’s been so beneficial because I can access everything I need within Hawksoft, and it integrates with many of the tools I use. Hawksoft is part of my daily operations. I can’t go a day without it. I also like that Hawksoft can be used for so many different business operations, which makes it easy to rely on throughout the day.

It’s easy to use, with everything in one place, and the IT support is good.

I can’t close or delete a bunch of tasks I created all at once; it has to be done one by one.

Having all of our clients information  and being able to manage our clients/insureds in one place—COIs, EOIs, applications, sending emails, etc.—makes things much easier.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

My favorite customer management tools within HawkSoft are email integration, the policy suspense tool, and the daily download reports. Our Agency has used this system for many years for all lines of business. It is very easy to learn and they offer training tools within Hawksoft for new agents. Their customer support team is wonderful and very responsive when needing technical or functional system support. I love the customer text abilities as it is very easy to use and manage. We use this system every day and have found that we have a hard time functioning without it.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The only pain point with this system that I have found is managing premium totals per Agency producer when multiple producers are working with the same client.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HawkSoft eliminates the need for multiple systems to manage Agency policies, tasks, reporting, sales growth, and prospecting.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

Hawksoft is still a software company that sells software.  They don't exist to buy other company's ideas and repackage them as if they are part of a Hawksoft suite.  Therefore, they listen to their customers - independent agencies in the U.S. that value relationships.  You can go to a conference and upper management, not to mention the owner of the company will be sitting next to you in a breakout session and ask for your feedback.  Hawksoft competitors often don't have owners, they have stockholders.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

Companies that don't buy up competitors and remarket them as their own, are companies that actually design, build, and distribute solutions to problems their customers face.  Those solutions can take time to solve.  Invariably there will be arguments on what are actually problems.  What's easier is to leave existing products alone, leave those customers be, and go buy out your competitors and steal their customers.  Then make it appears that you've GROWN your product base and customer base.  That's not Hawksoft.  They listen to their customers and build solutions that can take time.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hawksoft helps agencies with a level of consistency in procedures, while leaving room for flexibility based on individual agency needs.  They also have a solid base of partners they connect to making it very easy to build out the agency in ways that serve the needs of nearly any agency.

I like how it works with Hub Spot so you are able to see the policies in one place where all the communication to the customer is located.

I wish that Hawk Soft had the ability to transfer information from Hub Spot so you dont have to log informaiton in 2 separate places. Hawk Soft transfers to Hub Spot but on the other way around.

I like the ease of use as the best feature for Hawksoft. I trained all employees in my office when we first started using Hawksoft and once you know the logic behind how they created it, it is quite simply, very easy to use.  The 2nd BEST feature (maybe this should be #1) is their customer service team, they are SIMPLY THE BEST! They have been amazing to work with from the very beginning. I am know on 5th year dealing with Hawksoft and their team is still SIMPLY THE BEST!

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The least simple thing bout Hawksoft is the way you have to put in for something to change and/or work better. It never gets done if you don't get other people to vote for you. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I don't have time for that!  Something so simple as to add something or get it changed can take a long time!

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now I have no problems.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

We left one of the big two providers due to contract requirements and escalating costs. Another issue was that they held my data hostage and forced me to pay for my own data even though I uploaded it, maintained it and paid them for their service. Hawksoft was the best solution for us. Pricing fits our budget better, and the data is always mine.  The system is straightforward to learn and operate. Since we signed on, there have been many improvements. Their customer support is excellent, and the user group is beneficial. I had the opportunity to sign on with them at the beginning of agency ownership but didn't. I wish a thousand times over that I had.  To sum it up: Ease of use, pricing, flexibility, data ownership, and forward-thinking are the top likes for me.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The one dislike I have is the way we access the system. It is online but not browser-based. It is more of a thin client-type access. This means you are accessing a remote network to access the file servers. Sometimes this can create a lag in access times and prevents proper remote access from smart devices. However, this will be fixed shortly. They have a plan in place for a  true browser-based access, hopefully in the year 2023.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Hawksoft, we can depend on accurate tracking of our day-to-day operations. Documenting activities, producing applications for marketing accounts, and reminders for following up on service items.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

I can work all day within Hawksoft and never have to go to my desktop. The ability to open Outlook and my carrier websites from within, print to client files, scan to client files and not have to save anywhere else first is a time saver. For most of my actions, I can flow from start to finish with ease.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

I wish there were some other customizable fields within the Log. I wish the Log system as a whole was organized and had a different appearance. Unless you know to go all the way to the right to look for the plus (+) signs, you'd never know there were appends to the log note itself. 
Reports - they are very hard to figure out how to run on your own.
Start Page for everyone is not the same (so some tutorials don't apply and some functions are not available)
Text Notifications need to be more noticeable.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hawksoft allowed me to move the agency to mostly paperless. With the ability to store everything in the cloud, we can access all necessary documents, applications, notes, contacts, etc.. for our day-to-day work needs. Additionally, it allowed us to work remote when needed and give access to our client information in the event of an emergency. Our clients know we can respond if they need us after hours. Overall, Hawsoft opened the doors to a whole different way to operate this office.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

As an independent agency, we have tried and tested multiple software, management systems, etc. Hawksoft has been, BY FAR, the easiest to work with. Our onboarding specialist spent hours helping us, was extremely knowledgeable, and expressed how much she loved her job. Any time we have questions or an issue arrises it always gets resolved after we call their support team. We can't begin to describe the great things Hawksoft has helped us do. It helps us stay organized, on task, and connected with our agents and clients.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The only thing I dislike about HawkSoft is that.... honestly, I can't think of anything, especially when compared to the competing systems.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hawksoft allows us to keep very detailed reports on production and also renewals. Customer contact and communication have gotten significantly more manageable now that we have a system that holds all of the data we need access to and allows us to send targeted and specific emails using that data.

Our standout issue with HawkSoft has been the lack of portability and access to a cloud-based system.  This has restricted our ability to service clients off-premises in the past.  Fortunately, we were informed this year that they are moving to an actual, cloud-based platform early in 2024.

With innovation and third-party integration partners, HawkSoft is moving us towards a true enterprise system. This allows us to manage client data, communicate via email and text, and have an available sales funnel to manage our business from prospect to client in a central place.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

In order to create and complete a process, you have to start and finish a log which helps prevent an employee from stating they did the work but forgot to document and also helps create a timeline should you have to defend against an E&O claim.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

Continually improving but still a work in progress to have a seamless API with vendors and carriers to help speed up the process of quoting/issuing/binding /servicing in our industry.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Support us in writing and servicing property and casualty clients both personal and commercial and keeping policies and coverage up to date. They are continually working to find ways to create a one and done process when creating a process even when you need to send a document to sign, connect to a carrier website or process a claim.

My favorite thing about Hawksoft is that its leadership is dedicated to growth and improvement.  There is so much interaction between them and all of us users that I am confident that we will always have a product that is relevant and functional to keep up with the times.  The Hawksoft user group is a huge plus!

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The only issue I have with hawksoft is the challenges in creating and managing client files that doesn't involve too many steps, and that log suspenses can't be assigned in bulk outside of the download process.

hawksoft is solving the problem of providing a platform that is simple to use, but with a level of depth that can facilitate a lot of flexibility to use in various ways as needed.

I love all the great features it has. You can send an email directly from a customer's account. You can go to a direct website off an account, making everything easier.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

I don't dislike anything. It's great! I think it should have a way where we can insert photos of our customers. For security purposes to confirm were speaking to the correct people when they come in the office.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us set reminders on tasks we have to do. Follow-ups. It has saved some time when we look into the account and the last person logged the situation. It helps the agent go off of what was going on.

Our company has been using HawkSoft since July of 2004. The company strives for perfection and is constantly updating and adding new features to make it even better.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

I really cannot think of anything negative to say regarding the program. If there is an issue their tech support is one of the best in the industry, and will work with you until the issue is resolved or escalate it and then resolve it.

Keeping on top of all of your client's needs, knowing about potential canceled policies, and following up on outstanding documentation are just a few of the reasons we use this product.

Great customer support. All the information I need is just a click away. The customer support team really know what they are talking about and always have a quick solution.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

I wish I could make each section larger or small. I wish the interface was more customizable so that I could make some parts of it have larger font and others not without it making the box itself bigger and taking up most of the screen.

Easy to get up to date on a customer issue, notes are readily available, customer contact information is readily avaiable. Everything you need when a call comes in is right there.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

Being able to find what you are looking for is so much easier than our past system.  The Search log feature and Find Text feature help locate information from a client level, and reporting is very beneficial in reviewing your data without transferring your data to Excel.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The most challenging aspect of Hawksoft has been the log notes and getting our staff to document files the same way.    There was a definite learning curve from our last system where multiple users struggled to get on board with documenting a file.  Time has helped, but some struggles remain a few years in.

**What problems is HawkSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hawksoft allows us to keep up-to-date records of our clients, vendors and companies.  We can keep permanent records of discussions with our clients and their coverages.   The ability to attach emails and documents allow us to be a paperless agency.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

HawkSoft is user-friendly and has everything we need, including commission reconciliation!  In the last five years, I have gone from AMS360 to TAM to EPIC to HawkSoft, and it has been the easiest and fastest transition I have ever been through.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

The reporting could be more accessible and I'd like to see more graphs.   More automation would be beneficial and would create ONE program for everything.  Automated emails, texts, reminders to agents/CSR's would be excellent!

One system instead of 15 to manage the agency.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

Hawksoft is easy to use.  Their support documentation is easy to search & find relevant results. Not only can I find help, but there are clear instructions.   If I can't find help in the documentation, I have always been able to obtain support by calling the 800 # or chatting with a rep online. Client tags and logs are especially helpful in servicing policies and tracking issues.

**What do you dislike about HawkSoft?**

I'd like to see more collaboration tools.

Hawksoft is very user-friendly. I've used previous management systems for the past 15 years. Hawksoft is the only one I've been able to pull the exact reports I need with the information I want. From reporting, accounting and downloading the system is easy to navigate. The support our new agency received for training, implementation and ongoing check ins is top-notch. Someone is always available to help answer questions, whether it is your dedicated representative or the tech support line.

I worked on other management systems, and this is the easiest to use. It isn't designed by IT people but by insurance people who know what is needed to be productive from the start.

I especially love the texting feature.  The entire system is super easy to use.  Could not be happier to have chosen Hawksoft out of all the other agency management systems we looked at.

There are a lot of features to learn and I still have a long way to go to learn them all. This is not anything to fault Hawksoft about though.

It is so easy now to have a log about everything that was discussed with the customer.  It is all time and date stamped. It has come in handy already when customer says they called us about something that they actually forgot to mention to us during their call. Many customers also respond to text messages so much faster than they would have responded to an email for example.

**What do you like best about HawkSoft?**

The first thing that I liked about Hawksoft was the Action button, and how it walks you through every procedure and provides great consistency. That opinion has not changed.  Everything is easy to find, and makes sense. We used Hawksoft for a few years, then changed back to Applied systems on the 'strong advice' of a well known insurance consultant. But shortly after we stopped working with her, we went back to Hawksoft and have never looked back.

if you have outside producers and need to track commissions, it wasn't there but i believe they have worked on that. We don't have producers so i never looked again.

Hawksoft is extremely user-friendly!  Our agency specializes in farm insurance and spent a couple of years looking for an agency management system that would accommodate our farm locations and machinery and livestock schedules and Hawksoft does just that! So easy to use and navigate.

There isn't much that I dislike about Hawksoft. Their management team is always very eager to listen to suggestions on things to improve and work them into their software updates.
