I like being able to share documents with my students that automatically get turned into an individualized copy for each student. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the layout is a little limiting - When creating a plan for the entire week, it can look a little cluttered. I also wish that you could remove a card from student view without deleting work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easily distributes student work as a google doc, it allows me to observe where students are browsing. When integrated with the grading program Jupiter it eliminates almost all need for paper except for chosen paper-centric activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is slow to load. Occasionally determined students find workarounds and hacks to evade scrutiny of their browsing. I don't know what you could improve, I've seen cast improvements in the 4 or 5 years we've had it at school, but I'm a Latin Teacher, not a tech wizard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With this program, I can easily monitor my students' work during class. I can also limit which websites they are allowed to go on during class to help them focus better on the tasks at hand. I am also able to email an entire class at once - Gmail no longer offers an easy method of creating email groups in bulk. Hapara allows the teacher to pre-schedule focus browse sessions, which has come in handy when I had a substitute and/or a test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only feature I wish was available is a way to create a recurring focus browse session. This would be particularly beneficial if I could select dates from a calendar and apply a focus session to all of those days at the same start time each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HAPARA is incredibly user-friendly! I can create groups of students to check in on specifically or look at the group as a whole. I can see what all of my students are doing and make sure they are on task. If they are not on task I can close out the unapproved tab they are in and send them a note (either one that HAPARA has created or one that I write myself) so the student knows that they need to be on task. The most amazing part is that the student does not have to be in my immediate vicinity for me to watch what they are doing online! For example, at my school, I teach 4th, 5th and 6th Science/SS/Technology. When my 6th graders are in their reading class I can still keep an eye on them and let my partner teacher know if they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. The only thing that I wish was different is the ability to access their school email accounts directly from HAPARA. I have to log in as them on my computer to see if they are sending inappropriate emails. A minor detail, but it would be easier if I didn't have to complete the extra step. Easy to use to monitor my student in the classroom environment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't see the whole class title in the title panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like that you can watch the students screen in real time. You can redirect them back on task right after the behavior happens. Other sites have a lag, this one does not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that I struggle with is that the screen pictures are so small. It's hard for us to see exactly or read exactly what they are doing. We get the general gist but sometimes have to guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can see in real time what my students are working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My dislike would be seeing that a student on 2 devices. I never figure how to remove a device nor monitor their activity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can monitor what students are working on while I am busy working with a small group. I use the highlights section the most. Because students know I am watching, they make better decisions to stay on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really. I love the app. and that I can monitor my students and keep them on track. Maybe training on how to use the app would help me more so I can limit what the students can do in a certain time period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that when my students are writing sentences, I can see their screens, enlarge the screen and tell if they are capitalizing and using end punctuation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything I dislike about Hapara. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
