Simple to create guide browsing sessions to limit browsing activity. Also, the Activity Viewer is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Doesn't give you the ability to see past student activity or student history once you end your Hapara session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hapara easily merges into our existing G-Suite, and can be used for a wide variety of ages, courses, or activities. I dislike having to get students familiar with multiple systems and structures, so having Hapara and Google together is an excellent match that covers all our needs. Currently, it takes 48 hours from student registration to Hapara-ready, minimum. I would love if it took less. (Overnight for PowerSchool to sync and then another overnight to sync to Hapara).
Also, I would love some more formatting options for text in Workspaces. The <\> work is tricky for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hapara allows me to set up my classroom in a way that makes sense for my class. Being able to personalize learning for my students means that they will engage more meaningfully with the information in class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There has been nothing I have found that I do not like about Hapara. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am able to build entire workspaces for children and then assign tasks based on ability levels and interests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything that I do not like about hapara Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the features available through Highlights. I regularly utilise guided and filtered browsing to suit the needs of my students. Scheduled browsing also maximises productivity when using devices, especially in junior classrooms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When working with younger students (6-8 year olds), I find that Workspaces proves difficult for them to navigate independently. A more simplified platform would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Hāpara Workspace is like the landing page for our classroom that can be used with students in-person or for virtual teaching. The pedagogical practices that are encouraged by Hāpara are very aligned with my philosophy of education, where students are encouraged to become good digital citizens while they participate in a variety of learning tasks that are customizable, adaptable and flexible. The Hāpara program does take a little bit of time for users to learn how to navigate at first, and there are many Workspaces that get quite 'vertical' as they grow in size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love being able to see what the kids are working on, and setting what they can see and can't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to project what I am doing on the board with my screen on to student screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hapara is easy to use and makes it possible to see all your students screens at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It only works if students are using their district-provided laptops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy the wellness monitor feature. I enjoy the customization that the filter allows. I am hopeful that the teacher dashboard and highlights will help facilitate more on-task student engagement during class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our downsides seem unique to our personal school set up; we don't have as much control on our student devices currently as would be ideal for using Hapara and maximizing its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All the information is right there for students to see, and it's straightforward to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It depends on what your board has subscribed to. We don't have access to highlights, so I can't see what students are doing on their screens from my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
