"Great tool to on-task behavior"

What do you like best about Hāpara?

Love that we can view the student tabs to assist in helping them make good choices academically. In addition, I like that I can quietly message them without distraction to others. Keep them from feeling embarrassed or called out in front of peers. I love the freeze tab and pause screen that helps control their focus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hāpara?

What do you like best about Hāpara?

Hapara easily merges into our existing G-Suite, and can be used for a wide variety of ages, courses, or activities. I dislike having to get students familiar with multiple systems and structures, so having Hapara and Google together is an excellent match that covers all our needs. What do you dislike about Hāpara?

Currently, it takes 48 hours from student registration to Hapara-ready, minimum. I would love if it took less. (Overnight for PowerSchool to sync and then another overnight to sync to Hapara).

I love the features available through Highlights. I regularly utilise guided and filtered browsing to suit the needs of my students. Scheduled browsing also maximises productivity when using devices, especially in junior classrooms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hāpara?

The Hāpara Workspace is like the landing page for our classroom that can be used with students in-person or for virtual teaching. The pedagogical practices that are encouraged by Hāpara are very aligned with my philosophy of education, where students are encouraged to become good digital citizens while they participate in a variety of learning tasks that are customizable, adaptable and flexible. What do you dislike about Hāpara?

The Hāpara program does take a little bit of time for users to learn how to navigate at first, and there are many Workspaces that get quite 'vertical' as they grow in size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hāpara solving and how is that benefiting you?

The most significant way that Hāpara makes it better for teachers to use is with the 'Third Column' tasks (Google Docs, Slides, Drawing, and more!) that can be immediately duplicated. Each student gets one copy of the task, and the teacher can quickly view the work and provide feedback. Students can submit the task, which can either be assessed or sent back for more editing.
