Being able to manage my classes everyday, set up activities, control student activities. I can easy intergrate with different resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far nothing. I am still a new user so I am still learning, will come back after a while if there is anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ability to non-invasively check that students are on task with a technological assignment. I can message them personally to check in with them or prompt them to get on task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the training I just did, I learned about features such as workspace and student dashboard that aren't available to all members. These are extra features that must be added on. I wish at a minimum that our district had the student dashboard as well as it helps students with executive functioning skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how you are able to link to your Google Classroom. I appreciate Hapara's focus on teaching students to become good digital citizens instead of simply blocking all distracting websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took be a little bit to understand the difference between the highlights feature and the workspace feature. I wonder if renaming the "Highlights tab "to something like "Monitoring" may help alleviate confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Hapara's philosophy - protect, not police. We are able to use this to protect our students and to teach them good digital citizenship, while not feeling like police. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything works very well, but I hope in the future the administrative view could be a little more detailed. For example, there are some things that I can only find in the teacher view right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the fact I can create & set work for my students and link it in one place so they know where to find their work. I can differentiate without others knowing. I can keep an eye on what my students are doing and redirect them as required and offer feedback when I see they are going wrong. Students are able to work on their work even when they are away from school. If I am away I know my students know where to go and what to do with all the resources they need to support them in one place, making it easy for whoever comes in to cover just to supervise. I haven't yet found anything that I dislike about Hāpara. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that students can use this program to organize themselves, but it is also teacher friendly. I can monitor students' computers and keep them on track silently without interrupting the whole class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hapara is a web-based program with Google, so when students use their Chromebooks, we can only see programs based on the web. If a student was to download a game, we could not monitor that student because the game is not web-based. That being said, it is not the fault of Hapara. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing about hapara to us is its ability for teachers and administrators to be able to see what our students are accomplishing with their class time online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Few minor things we would like to see from district standpoint such as, being able to add select students to a group to view them specifically. We feel it being limited to entire classes to be troublesome at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love that we can view the student tabs to assist in helping them make good choices academically. In addition, I like that I can quietly message them without distraction to others. Keep them from feeling embarrassed or called out in front of peers. I love the freeze tab and pause screen that helps control their focus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it allowed you to set filters that could be used each/every day. You can set one for the day but not something that is consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hapara is very user-friendly. It is an excellent tool for monitoring students' activity, a place to add lessons in the workspace and an excellent way to keep students on track through filter and focus sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I see no downside except that the products like workspace must be purchased separately. I enjoy working with Hapara to keep my students focused and on track with learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
