What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

Handshake has been a tremendous asset for us! The platform makes it easy for us to connect with top candidates. The handshake team is very responsive and helps us come up with creative solutions to our early talent solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

No downsides to handshake come to mind. It's much easier to use than other early talent recruiting platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

It's a powerful tool for marketing to students. Handshake is also not as saturated w/ employers as some other platforms out there. It feels like you are in a exclusive club. The support team helps to hold you accountable and ensure you are making th most of the tool with monthly checkins. They are integral to driving success for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

Exclusive clubs come with a price. And the attraction to your brand is a long term investment. For smaller employers, the return will take time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

The segmentation tool for messaging students is extremely helpful. You can reach out to a diverse group of students that meet your criteria upfront, resulting in more applicants that are highly qualified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

The job posting process can be cumbersome especially if you have a large list of schools you are posting to or if any schools decline your post. If a school declines your post they do not have to cite why, and it can be time-consuming to find the school's comments and respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

The most helpful tool is being able to campaign with job advertisements, event invitations, and career fair sign-ups, ensuring your efforts to recruit are seen by thousands of eligible applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

The least impactful aspect in my experience has been the Employer Branding and Company Page - it is great to be able to showcase your brand but the lack of interaction on the landing page and heavily manual process to update the branding means we don't see a tangible impact from any analytics, or have a sense of follower growth. What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

Using Handshake premium allows us to message students who fit our needs. We utilize the program to help engage students before career fairs and to invite them to virtual events. It's been a wonderful resource for us and increased our speed to hire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

The user interface isn't the prettiest - it can be clunky to use, and some information is duplicated in different spaces. Onboarding new users to the platform is not intuitive. There are also (rarely) glitches that have to be addressed from a developer standpoint which can take some time to update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

Handshake is the best way to engage with students at their level. HS makes it easy to search, reach out and contact students by promoting your jobs, creating segments and campaigns that work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

We work in the Education space and we are looking for credentialed teachers. Unfortunately, Handshake does not have the option to look exclusively for teachers with credentials or whose in the process. They are working on it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

It's very simple and intuitive to use! I set everything up in minutes and had no problem using it. The UI is very clean and simple as well, that even my 85 year old grandma can probably understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

The main issue is that you don't receive any email notification whenever someone schedules a meeting with you on Handshake. You have to manually check the calendar to see if anyone has booked a session with you, which can be cumbersome. It would be nice to have a notification system to your email. What do you like best about Handshake for Employers?

Its a great tool for reaching audiances that were once challenging to engage with. It has driven our recrtuiment numbers for our graduate programme significantly. Meg and Kyle are brilliant at supporting us in running campaigns and providing the best advise/insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handshake for Employers?

You can't exclude graduates without the right to work. However this is something that is being worked on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
