I like that Halo is consistent and they have support that is responsive. Employees who have questions/issues with products can reach out to Halo, but the representatives I work with are responsive as well. When/if there is an issue you aren't digging through an answering service. There is a friendly person who is more than willing to help.
Also, in regards to the service itself it is consistent. Managing this project is new for me and I've received multiple projects at once. I appreciate that the service awards we get through HALO don't need a lot of consistent maintenance and updates from me.

Sometimes I have to work to get exact pricing. There are pricing details available, but ofcourse there are discounts for bulk. More transparent pricing would be helpful. At times we feel left in the dust when API/intigrations do not work and Halo points the finger at the other company out of the gate, rather then trouble shoot on the spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Halo is often changing up the items offered in their catalogue. Halo's prices seem to be pretty fair for the cost of the item and their mark up. We have a dedicated assigned account manager. There are many different features that Halo offers that my cvompany does not use. My coworkers do not have any issues accessing the site and finding the product they want. The emails alerting employees of their anniversary is autamed, which takes our HR team almost entirely out of the picture, which is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took 4 years for us to be given an account manager, which lead to a lot of back and forth and a delay in changes and corrections. The shipping and freight cahrges are often very high and despite requesting to be informed before hand when they will be high, this never occurs. We have had 300+ charges on shipping of items. The online portal is not easy to navigate or administer. I cannot add or remove employees from the portal myself and must do so through data uploads manually emailed to Halo. I love the selection they have for our employees regarding recognition gifts. I know our employees use the site by the monthly invoice, and I can run reports as well. I truly can't think of anything I dislike about HALO. Anytime I have requested something regarding the site, they have come through and adjusted it for me. Pertaining to how employee updates are sent, I would love to see a feed go from our HRIS system to their system. This could be an issue with our HRIS provider and not HALO.
