## Guru Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Team Collaboration and Intuitive Navigation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham P. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

The clean and simple profile view makes it easy to understand who someone is and what they're working on. Centralized access to team information, documentation, and onboarding content. Easy navigation between pages like Home, Tasks, Chat, and AI Agent Center. Encourage knowledge sharing across teams.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Some profile sections (teams, manager, working hours) require manual updates, which may be skipped by users. Content discovery can depend heavily on how well pages are organized and maintained. Limited customization in profile layout compared to fully customizable wiki tools.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru solves the problem of scattered knowledge and documentation. It provides a centralized place for processes, onboarding info, and internal help, reducing dependency on individuals. This improves team efficiency, speeds up onboarding, and ensures everyone has access to up-to-date information.

  ### 2. Our sales teams love Guru - feedback has been overwhelmingly positive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine R. | Product Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I manage all the presentation and organization of our sales and marketing collateral on Guru, and my organization uses it for many cross-departmental functions as well. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from our sales reps. The ability to customize our own departmental landing page has been helpful. The analytics are awesome. Permissions let you easily decide who can review and update cards, and who can see them. The AI functionality is next-level and with the new chat feature it's been amazing to help me ensure information is easy to find and accurate for our sales teams. Overall, I think Guru is doing an amazing job staying ahead of the curve. The webinars they host are very helpful and it feels like the company really cares.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Card layouts are somewhat limited compared to other content management platforms I have used so this is my biggest gripe. A lot of people don't realize that there is a sidebar you can toggle for deep links to sections, because its not extremely obvious, so if you have a card with a lot of content, people don't realize they can go there rather than scrolling forever. Having a really nice consolidated layout with graphics can be tricky. For instance, sometimes I just want to embed a video but I can only do it from some sources, so I have to create a screenshot that links to the video, and then sometimes the screenshots do not load.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us be able to share important sales updates and house sales and marketing collateral

  ### 3. User-Friendly and Customizable, But Needs Some Tweaks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like a lot about Guru, especially the general look / vibe and the overall user experience. I find it relatively user-friendly, which makes it easier for our team to navigate. The ability to customize things, like the homepage or tagging items in searches, really stands out to me. It just looks nice for teams and helps ensure everyone knows exactly where to go to access the information they need.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

I think there's some improvements needed with some of their newer functionalities. When I think about pages, that's something that should pull into the search and would allow for an easier experience. There's certain features and functionality when it comes to things like designs and being able to add or edit cards in a certain way. Additionally wish there was more flexibility to add / edit certain announcement notifications, and the reporting / analytics were more robust.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru provides easy access to resources, ensuring our team stays updated and ready for the field. It helps our customer support team find answers to common problems quickly during customer calls.

  ### 4. Effortless Search and Quick Insights with Guru

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea Nicolle H. | Customer Service Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like how easy it is to search for some information with Guru. I also enjoy the fast, quick questions we can do, like with the EA dot AI feature on Guru, which makes the process very easy for me. I like asking them for proofing questions that bring me very easy information to use. The AI makes it quick to find the information I need at the moment.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

I think that needs to be improved more on the accurate information that they populate when we ask something.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Guru to streamline internal processes and resolve customer concerns. It makes information easy to search and provides quick resolutions with its AI feature.

  ### 5. Verified Knowledge, Instant Accessibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swathi .

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I love the "Verified" checkmark in Guru because it provides psychological safety. It allows me to trust the information without second-guessing, saving mental energy and preventing unnecessary conversations. I also really like the Browser Extension, which embodies the "Anti-Tab" philosophy by bringing knowledge to where I am without interrupting my workflow. It's incredibly helpful during high-pressure tasks like customer support chats or complex proposal writing.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

The 'Maintenance Tax' is a bit of a hassle for me. Guru isn't a 'set-it-and-forget-it' kind of tool. It needs our subject matter experts to be on top of verifying information regularly, and if they're busy, the verification notifications can get overwhelming. Seeing too many 'Unverified' cards makes it hard to trust the tool, so it's important to have a strong culture of documentation. Also, I find the basic text editor in Guru pretty limited. It's not as robust as Google Docs or Notion, so formatting, especially for complex layouts or deeply nested tables, can be a struggle. It's mainly for bite-sized info, which isn't ideal for longer, detailed documents.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru stops repetitive question interruptions by storing tribal knowledge in Cards. It prevents document decay with a Verification Workflow, ensuring information remains up-to-date. The browser extension reduces context-switching by providing instant access to knowledge without leaving current work tabs.

  ### 6. Effortless Information Access with Guru

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anesipho M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like using Guru because it provides a quicker and more reliable way to access company product information and any updates on policies. The chat box feature and the search feature are particularly handy because I can type what I need, and it brings up everything related to my query. The easy accessibility is crucial for me, ensuring that we provide our customers with accurate information in a timely manner. I also found the setup to be very easy to use, with everyone catching on in minutes. I love Guru.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

There is nothing that I dislike about the application.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Guru for easy access to company product information and updates. It provides a quicker and more reliable way to obtain information, assuring we provide customers with accurate information timely. The search and chat box features make finding information straightforward.

  ### 7. The Ultimate Source of Truth and Efficient Integration Hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivy E.

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I love how Guru acts as the source of truth for all company information, making it our internal wiki and enterprise search to easily find needed data. I really appreciate how it allows us to create and search content efficiently, which saves us tons of time by reducing the need for answering individual questions on Slack. The integrations are particularly valuable, allowing Guru to connect with a wide range of other tools, like Notion, Zendesk, Google Drive, Slack, and HubSpot, making it much more versatile than other internal wikis. Setting up Guru was very easy; migrating content from Notion and Google Drive took about an hour, with only a little QA needed afterward.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Some UI changes would be nice such as the ability to view Guru cards not as a pop-out. A lot of our team doesn't love the pop-out structure. More rich text editing features would be nice too, like better customization of charts/tables within Guru cards. Also, more customization of the AI features, i.e., creating a source hierarchy or natural language AI training prompts.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru serves as our single source of truth, centralizing information and streamlining searches, so employees can find what they need without interrupting teammates or having to look for information in multiple places, which saves us a lot of time and equips our team to do their best work.

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I love that all of the content needed to perform an action is on the card including links to processes and videos

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

i think that the search feature could be tweeked a little to be more universal. Some times industry lingo is not known by some users.

It is teaching me how to complete my job functions. It has been instrumental in my training

  ### 9. Efficient Knowledge Management, Needs Better Organization

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I feel that Guru could improve with a better summary of files when we upload them.

I use Guru for knowledge management, making it easy to access and retrieve knowledge across different files.

  ### 10. Exceptional Support and Effortless Integration with Guru

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

There are plenty of things to appreciate about Guru! We especially enjoy the chat feature. After proper configuration, the bot does an excellent job providing answers for our customer support needs. Guru’s customer support team has also been consistently available and helpful, especially through their frequent workshops. Creating landing pages with Guru is straightforward, and our team can easily customize them to match their preferred style. Integrating Guru with other platforms is just as simple; I often find myself asking Guru about how another integrated platform works, and it handles those queries smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

I think the card creation and management system could use some refinement. I would also like to see more examples of what is possible from Guru.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Guru, we didn't have a knowledge base, so everyone relied on chat to ask questions. This often resulted in missed policies, confusion from misquoted information, and people repeatedly asking the same questions because they couldn't easily find the answers. Guru has resolved all of these issues for us. Now, we store our policies in Guru, allowing everyone to see when a policy was changed, what was changed, and who made the change. Guru also provides answers much faster than coworkers who are busy managing their own workloads.

  ### 11. "Seamless integration that puts answers rigt at my fingertips"

It Sometimes the following options in the card editor can feel a bit limited compared to a full document editor like Google docs, but it's sufficient for quick knowledge sharing...

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is speed and focus. since the information lives right in my browser. I don't have to break my workflow to find answers. It empowers the team to be self-sufficient, speeds up on boarding for new hires, and ensures everyone is aligned with the latest company processes..

  ### 12. Real-Time AI Assistance Boost with Minor Navigation Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shweta G. | Travel advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I use Guru to get help in real-time with information. It significantly improves my work with its AI features, making it easier to use. The AI assistance is something I really like because I can ask anything and get my answer in seconds. It's great that it answers all my questions.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Sometimes it lapses and goes back to the same page, which is annoying. Also, the search tab has a chat option, and it sometimes gets clicked on instead of search, which can be frustrating.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Guru for real-time help with information related to restrictions and it has AI features that make it easier to get answers quickly.

  ### 13. Empowers Teams with Reliable Knowledge Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdul A. | Writing and Editing

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I love that Guru serves as a single source of truth, where all important information lives in one place, eliminating confusion and conflicting answers. The powerful search function makes finding the right information fast and intuitive, even as the knowledge base grows. I also appreciate Guru's integration with tools like Slack and CRM systems, which makes accessing knowledge as seamless as possible within our workflow. The platform's intuitive interface made it easy for team members to start contributing and using the system quickly. Additionally, Guru makes knowledge management efficient, reliable, and easily accessible, saving time and ensuring consistency across the team.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Content organization at scale: As the knowledge base grows, organizing and restructuring content can take effort. More advanced bulk-editing or reorganization tools would be helpful. Search filtering and refinement: While search is powerful, having more granular filters (by team, date, or content type) could make it even faster to narrow down results.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru centralizes our knowledge, eliminating confusion from scattered documents, and provides a powerful search to quickly find trusted information. It reduces repetitive questions and ensures consistency, aided by integrations with Slack and CRM tools for seamless access within workflows.

  ### 15. Collaboration and Access to Information at Its Best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel Edrai C. | Player support specialist

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like the ability to collaborate and get feedback easily on Guru. Additionally, I enjoy the organization of information and how I can choose a topic and navigate through all the related information. I also appreciate the dynamism, the ability to create collections, add tags, and how easy it is to use and access it. The initial setup was very simple because we were able to easily migrate the structure of our knowledge bases.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Collaborative creation, something I miss from Zendesk Knowledge, is being able to create a draft of a document and have others view or edit it without needing to publish it. I would like to be able to create a document and see the changes and suggestions of others live without needing to publish the document.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru facilitates the distribution and access to policies and procedures, improves collaboration and feedback gathering, and organizes information allowing navigation through related topics.

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like that I'm able to provide feedback on specific things in Guru. The ability to request more in-depth explanations is helpful as it clarifies any doubts I might have. Guru also helps me correct some procedures that I am taking, which is very valuable.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

I find the way that Guru information is displayed to be problematic. There's too much information on one page, which makes it hard to locate the topics we need. It would be great if there were more organized sections to make it easier for us agents.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Guru for managing accounts, handling complex situations with up-to-date info, and getting next steps for questions members have. It helps clarify doubts and correct procedures.

  ### 18. Guru: Centralized Knowledge, Enhanced Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek J.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like how I can quickly find trusted, verified information with Guru when I need it. The verification system, intuitive search, and seamless integrations help ensure content stays accurate and accessible, making my daily work faster and more efficient. Guru integrates smoothly with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and project management platforms, allowing us to access verified knowledge directly within our existing workflows without switching between applications. The initial setup was straightforward and easy to follow, with the onboarding process, templates, and clear documentation helping our team get up and running quickly with minimal training.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

While Guru is very effective overall, there is room for improvement in content organization and advanced search filtering as knowledge bases grow. Occasionally, maintaining and updating content can require extra effort. More flexible folder structures, tagging options, and bulk content management tools would help keep information easier to organize. Enhanced search filters—such as filtering by verification status, content owner, or last updated date—would also make it faster to find the most relevant information.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Guru for centralizing company knowledge, quickly finding accurate information, and improving team collaboration. It solves the problem of scattered information, reduces repetitive questions, and saves time searching across tools by providing a single source of truth with verified answers.

  ### 19. Centralized Knowledge, Streamlined Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepak S. | Patient Safety Coordinator

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I like how quickly Guru gives reliable answers without disrupting my workflow. The browser extension and search make it easy to find verified, up-to-date information exactly when I need it, instead of digging through multiple tools. It keeps knowledge organized, accurate, and accessible, which saves time and reduces confusion across the team. It's simple, dependable, and genuinely useful day to day. The browser extension is the tool I value most because it surfaces the right, verified information exactly when I need it, without forcing me to leave my workflow or switch between tools. Being able to search, view, and create knowledge directly from the tools we already use saves time and makes Guru feel seamlessly integrated into daily work rather than an extra system to manage. Guru integrates well with other tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and our web-based applications, and the integrations and browser extension make it easy to access verified information directly within the tools we already use, which reduces context switching.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Guru is very strong overall, but a few areas could be improved: Content organization at scale—As the knowledge base grows, managing large collections and folders can take more planning than expected. Advanced features learning curve—Some powerful features aren’t immediately obvious and require time or guidance to fully utilize. Customization and reporting—More flexibility in analytics and customization options would help admins better track usage and impact.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Guru to centralize internal knowledge, ensuring access to consistent, up-to-date information across teams. It eliminates the issue of scattered, outdated content and saves time with instant access to verified data through its efficient search and browser extension, reducing context switching.

  ### 23. Insanely Useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Skyler R. | Co-Founder & Product Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

The Chrome extension is crazy useful. You can search and find information, create new documents, and configure triggers so it alerts users when they're on particular web pages your company uses in its day-to-day operations.

The CTO, Mitch Stewart, is great also. I had a very specific problem that was going to cause me a ton of trouble over the Christmas holidays. I don't run a big company, but Mitch took the time to listen to me and gave me a solution that fixed everything.

How you treat small businesses speaks volumes when you have customers like Brex, Shopify, and Ramp. Knowing the product is in the hands of someone who respects its customers is a breath of fresh air these days!

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Two UX things would be nice. First, it'd be great if we could access our drafts directly from the Chrome extension. Second, it be great if the card height and width dimensions were stored in memory somehow so they wouldn't reset every time you open a new card. Note, I'm not saying every single card should maintain its own height and width dimensions, just a global dimension based on the last height and width values you set.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None anymore. I used Guru to store and access essential knowledge and processes, making it easy for others to find job-related information via a handy Chrome extension. However, the removal of public sharing has eliminated its usefulness.

  ### 24. Guru helps us store our knowledge in a well structured way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abishek S. | IT Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

Guru has become an essential part of how we manage and share knowledge across our team. The ease of use stands out—it’s simple for anyone to create, update, and verify content, which makes adoption smooth even for new team members. The integration with tools like Slack means our team can access the right information instantly without breaking their workflow. This has greatly reduced repeated questions, streamlined onboarding, and helped us maintain consistent processes across departments.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Overall, Guru works very well for us, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The search experience can sometimes surface too many results, making it harder to find the most relevant card quickly. Additionally, formatting options in cards could be more flexible, especially for complex documentation. While integrations are strong, having more customization in analytics and reporting would make it easier to measure the direct impact of Guru on productivity.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guru helps us centralize and maintain our internal knowledge so that the team always has access to accurate and up-to-date information. It has significantly reduced repetitive questions, improved onboarding for new hires, and ensured consistency in how processes are followed across departments. The Slack integration is especially helpful because it delivers answers right where our team works, saving time and avoiding context switching. Overall, Guru has streamlined knowledge sharing, increased efficiency, and helped us maintain high standards in our workflows.

You can quickly turn messages, notes, or documents into knowledge cards. It works well even if you don't know the exact phrase you are looking for, making it easier to pull knowledge out of clutter. It's centralized, trusted answers help new team members ramp faster and keep customer-facing teams aligned.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

Without consistent ownership, cards can pile up, go out of date, or become cluttered. Many users find search strong, but others report that it sometimes surfaces older or less relevant cards first, leading to "knowledge hunting". Since more cards are created, organizations can end up with duplicates, partial overlaps, or fragmented information unless someone curates it carefully. If verification reminders are not turned correctly, experts can get bombarded with "please verify this card" notifications. Teams that are not used documenting knowledge may struggle to keep Guru active and updated, leading to low engagement.

**What problems is Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the problems would be several information scattered across tools. Solution would be a single, centralized knowledge base with fast search and an easy browser extension.

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Guru?**

I find this platform to be an incredibly useful and powerful tool that has become indispensable for my everyday work. From the very beginning, the ease of implementation and integration was remarkable, allowing us to seamlessly incorporate it into our existing processes without any major hurdles. The ease of use is intuitive, making it simple to navigate the extensive number of features and find exactly what I need. I rely on it multiple times throughout the day, which speaks to its high frequency of use and overall value. Furthermore, One of the most telling signs of its quality is the fact that I've never even had to use the customer support team. Beyond its robust functionality, one of my favorite aspects is the clever humor, specifically the hidden "jokes" and playful easter eggs sprinkled throughout the platform that make using it a more enjoyable experience.

**What do you dislike about Guru?**

On a less positive note, I found that the user experience sometimes requires a bit of a learning curve. The platform's navigation occasionally forces you to memorize specific titles or terms because the required information isn't always immediately visible.
