The software is very easy to use and implement. Excellent learning academy, and fabulous customer support, it has great features for clients to generate leads and collect data around their event participation. Added features that enable handling of multiple programmes at one event and it being able to scan leads, plus integration capability, its a great tool for event companies looking to add value for clients and encourage rebook/retention while giving delegates/visitors a superb event guide and event experience. So many features, its hard to find the time to implement all of it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The account management service is fantastic - we've had several account managers during our multi year relationship with Grip and they've all been wonderful. Always go above and beyond, response times are flawless and always so patient with me when i'm being dense about how to do stuff -nothing is ever too much work for them!
The updated platform is also incredibly easy to use - and the new clone event function is a dream! It makes replicating our events in different locations so much easier and saves loads of time!
We're also very fortunate that it integrates well with several other platforms that we use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some minor things that can feel a little clunky at times... but nothing so un manageable that it majorly hinders the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The backoffice is fairly instinctive and easy to understand, easy to organize and customize. The first year might require some more work to setup and learn how to use all features, but once you have that everything can just be cloned for the following years. The customer support is great, very helpful and understanding of any issues and questions you may have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Browsing through the platform as a user has some drawbacks – there’s no return button, you have to press ‘home’ or again on the tab you’re visiting to go back to the previous page and it goes back to the top of the page; you can’t open a profile on another tab, there is no right click available). Also, for the BIF Market in particular, it would be useful to be able to request meetings with projects and connect to all people linked to it, instead of just being able to request meetings with individual people. First, Grip Events is a product that repeatedly gets excellent reviews from sponsors and attendees when onsite due to the ease of use, networking functionality and overall ability to schedule event days. It makes my job as an Organiser that little bit easier, and compliments the experience that we design and strive to deliver for all of our attendees. On the backend, there is lots of flexibility as well which is greatly appreciate. I think what I like best about Grip Events however, is the team. I am over 5 years into working with them now and the team are always willing to help and are genuinely invested in helping us to deliver the best event possible. They are continually striving to improve, and the number of actualy useful product updates is a clear sign to me that they listen to our needs and feedback to improve their product. Most recently, I have integrated the App with Hubspot and I was really impressed with how easy and simple this was. Its really improved our customer experience, ensuring all attendees get access to the App within 15 minutes of signing up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing- the Team and Product is excellent! In terms of developments, I would love to see Teams become an App based feature, and not just Desktop, as this does occasionally cause friction with our Clients. As well as see the Teams function become more intuitive or clear when a Sponsor first signs into the platform. I'd also love to see a way of attendees sharing sessions or inviting attendees to their sessions through the App. Finally, the networking is the bread and butter and is what makes this App excellent but some of the wider event features such as Q&A could see some further development. We organise hosted buyer events and use Grip and its meeting scheduling as the core of every single event.
Our delegates are particularly happy about how user-friendly the interface is as well as the quality of their meetings organised through Grip.
As organisers, Grip allows us to schedule thousands of highly personalised 1:1 meetings efficiently. The meeting scheduling functionalities are essential to us and have been developed over several years, resulting in excellent satisfaction from our clients.
We're also able to offer a personalised experience to the different types of delegates who attend our events. Last but not least, Grip allows our different event brands to really shine thanks to excellent UX personalisation options available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Just like working with any external provider, Grip features are not always 100% perfectly fit to our requirements but their support team offer good advice on alternatives, and the product is designed to allow organisers to integrate with other platforms or link externally very easily. We've also found reporting/analytics could be harder to get but this is an area of focus which is rapidly improving at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grip events is a well structured, highly user friendly software which has been highly adaptable to what my company is trying to achieve with the event app.
The customer service, especially by Joana Lima and Viktoria Stoker, has been really helpful and contributed massively towards the ease of our company using this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the agenda/private sessions to be most difficult to use as it can be very time consuming adding in the different elements like sponsors, speakers, private session attendees etc.
Also, lead retrieval and the team portal can be improved for users and app managers to retrieve all sponsors leads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The team are super friendly and helpful during setup, and are open to feedback on how the platform could be better improved to match our needs for the types of events we do. The platform is easy to use once you have used it for the first time and the team providing speedy ongoing support during event setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some design and element limitations on the site which take time to overcome or figure out a workaround. They are not completely demobilsing, but sometimes have to get creative to match our needs or what we expect to be able to include on a page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great software design, very easy to understand and to set up basic event information, user friendly for participants, continuous improvement and development from the Grip team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not all features are adaptable or customisable (Automated emails, generic wordings ect), no option to send targeted email campaigns; the only options are via data type and status Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The onboarding and sales experience has been second to none, and 1 year down the line, we're still loving the support and help from our account manager, and wider technical teams. Integrations have been a huge plus for us, and using the new native integrations manager has been simple and saved us heaps of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't got anything particularly negative to write, I guess with event apps, you are buying into an ecosystem that is quite generic and most providers offer almost identical services, but the friendly team and competitive pricing and holistic approach led us to choose grip. - Flexible: Team is always on hand to solutionize even in the case of late requests from the business.
- Features: Many aspects of the platform have improved since we started using Grip 4-6 years ago, allowing us to improve the overall Attendee experience through better insights + more customized UI / comms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Timezones: It seems their Integration Managers are now USA based which slows down testing and overall delivery if you are from the UK or elsewhere.
- Bugs/Feature gaps: Not always easy to understand if or when something will be actioned if it was not already planned work. Things can be approved work or on the roadmap but not have a timeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
