GReminder has been helpful for our business in order to send out reminders to our clients. It's easily intergrated with our Google calendar, and the feature available for customers to confirm their appointments is grreat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a little hard to navigate when you're just starting off, but the help line was useful in assiting. The only thing I wish was that it was able to be slightly more specific, or able to be used through Google calendar directly instead of having to use the back end of GReminders. It is an easy way to communicate with clients from my workplace! We use GReminders in order to schedule and cancel appointments, as well as send reminders about upcoming appointments. GReminders ability to automatiically plug into our CRM (Redtail) and start launching our pre-built workflows linked to specific schedules has been a great investment for our firm to start implementing. There is a separate SMS fee if you want to include that with your service. Also, there's no way to communicate directly with clients who reply to their email reminders (for example, when they need to inform me that they want to reschedule). The GReminders settings page is not very user-friendly- it's difficult to understand how some of the settings work with too long of a description ... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GReminders has both reminders (SMS and email) and appointment scheduling, which I appreciate. I like that you can create different "event types" and use keywords to set up specific reminders, individualized for each person creating an appointment (when they answer certain questions). Some of their appointment creation options are good, such as before-appointment buffers, but they need after-appointment buffers (or is it reversed - I know they have one but not both options).
Theoretically there are integrations with other softwares or apps that could be helpful but since I'm not a Millenial or Gen Z and I didn't do enough training in computer programming, I really don't understand how it works or how to integrate it. So...theoretically, it's great, but without more assistance, it's moot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A major issue I'm having with GReminders is that my clients set appointments then they forget when they've scheduled appointments, but they don't have a way to check when they've scheduled them, so they ask me directly. Then I have to go through my schedule manually to tell them. I feel like GReminders could easily create a system where the user could get that information from GReminders directly - or even I could easily just plug in their name and do a search and have it spit out a list of their scheduled appointments.
Another thing I wish GReminders would improve is the option for time buffers BOTH before and after appointments! I would like this to remain for when you schedule another appointment but there's an appointment before it that asked for a buffer after it. I need these buffers for specific appointment types in order to be able to either prepare ahead of time or clean up afterwards before someone schedules something else. I'd like the buffer to be recognized by other appointment types. Maybe you can have it gray out the time on my Calendar but not include it in the appointment, itself, so the client doesn't see it?
