Now the system is riddled with kinks, substandard in functionality, poorly supported by their customer service and they nickle and dime you for every feature. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** Primesuite is poorly organized with poor suport. The kinks and errors are increasing exponetialy and their support team is not trained to answer customer frustrations and complaints. They are insensitve to the needs or the small to medium practices, especialy in terms of flexabniity to deal with providrs and staff who are in the flow of seeing patients and are nt sitting around waiting for them to call back. My staff spends 1/2 of their days trying to find work arounds for the things that dont work well and the things that impede their workflow. Their meaninful use failures caused a law suite several years ago and their inadequate MIPS dashboard cause us to have to do manual reporting **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** At this point it is hindering patient flow, and revenue management. The ERA's post incorrectly and thee system does not have the capacity to post recoupments. The new GCS clearting house can not post more than one EOB to an account in the event the insurance company reconsider or reprocesses the claim. ### 2. Not much training is needed to start using the platform. There are lots of nice features such as being able to customize flow sheets as well as orders tracking. Ease of generating reports is nice. Customer support is excellent. Task feature is helpful in being able to document and quickly reference what you have documented. Task feature is also helpful for in office communication. Within the health care system it is helpful for other offices to be able to document and view other practices information in greenway for continuity of care of care for the patient. The patient portal system is great for patients to be able to access their own medical information, as well as communicate with the office via the internet. It helps reduce phone calls and overall helps the office run more smoothly. We can send them information securely thru the patient portal, and they can communicate back via the portal. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** The appointment schedule feature could use some updating. It takes a lot of clicks to get to what you need. Some streamlining would be helpful. You cannot cancel and reschedule a patient with one click of a button. It takes several clicks. There is no way to edit the appointment date or time once it has been scheduled. You have to completely cancel it out and create a new appointment. Also, sometimes greenway lags and runs slow. Unsure if it is related to our computers or the actual system. **Recommendations to others considering PrimeSuite:** Easy to use EHR System for clinical settings. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to serve patients better, providing them with the best care possible with the help of EHR. ### 7. It was also very useful to be able to make flow sheets with lab results and immunization records and so on. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** Greenway had many technical errors and would often run so painfully slow, slowing down our days dramatically because we were unable to document each patient visit. Sometimes adding or prescribing medications was very mundane and had a lot of extra clicks to get through. It does not seem as modern or updated as Epic, for example. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Documenting patient visits, prescribing medications, recording medical histories, etc. ### 8. We had to have a separate collections technology that was suppose to be able to integrate and talk to Greenway. There were several days each week that this would not work and we were not able to see what a patients copay/deductible amount should be. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** PrimeSuite was used as our main EHR. We converted all paper records to electronic using this. ### 9. I can always count on it to do the very little amount that it is able to do. I never have to worry that information will be lost - which is a problem with other software that we use. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** The setup and buttons and information are archaic. It feels like using a very old computer and it is problematic. I have to click so many things, I have to pause and click, and pause and click every time I want to do very simple tasks. Also - any time that I want to search our schedule, I have to reload it. There is no way to filter the schedule for open spots, so you have to click through and search and you can only do that for 5 days in a row before you have to reset the information again. **Recommendations to others considering PrimeSuite:** I woudl not recomend this to anybody else. This is an old program and it does not look like they are trying to upgrade it or make it more useful. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scheduling appointments, entering insurance info, and tracking future and past appointments. ### 10. However, it is more efficient than using paper charts and much easier to access by multiple people at once. ### 12. However, the fact that when you type in a zip code it assumes the city and state is very nice. Also it is pretty reliable, for the little that it does. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** You have to click so many times. The design is very old and reminds me of a mid 1990s Macintosh. Not at all user friendly, and quite glitchy. The scheduling aspect is very difficult to work with and you always end up having to refresh and re-select different parts every time you use it. **Recommendations to others considering PrimeSuite:** There have got to be many other softwares for medical management and scheduling, this one seems ancient. Go ahead and keep looking until you find a software that is more user friendly for you. This one in particular seems like it is way behind in the field. Other companies probably have much better options and areas where you can move through your scheduling much more seamlessly and without the inconvenience. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scheduling appointments and entering information for patients within a medical setting. ### 13. Definitely NOT good for an FQHC - would be OK for a stand-alone practice though **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2018 **What do you like best about PrimeSuite?** One of the few good things about PrimeSuite is that it has the ability to capture and display a "Preferred" name. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** PS Can't display lab values along with dates that the value was collected. It has limited ability to cross-reference different data tables when trying to run reports (you'll literally need to know how to write SQL Statements to get the info you need all in one report). It maps natively to ICD-9 codes and only seems to overlay ICD-10 codes, there doesn't seem to be any native ICD-10 mapping. There is very little support if you are an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) that is running this software. Areas of the program can't be locked down (i.e. the FQHC module) and any user could tamper with the FQHC structured back-end data if they really wanted to sabotage the organization. The user-end security is rudimentary and basically if you build a user profile, they have access to mostly all areas of a patient's chart. **Recommendations to others considering PrimeSuite:** Consider other EMR Software like NextGen or eClinicalWorks. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use PrimeSuite as our Electronic Medical Record, however it is bulky and outdated. The billing end is laborious if you are an FQHC and mostly all charges have to be hand-keyed manually for billing to be processed correctly. ### 15. Not always the Easiest **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2018 **What do you like best about PrimeSuite?** I like that it provides a lot of information about the person and easily shows previous and future appointments that the patient has. **What do you dislike about PrimeSuite?** It can sometimes be confusing about which appointments patients have had, usually because user error so it is not completely the software's fault. **Recommendations to others considering PrimeSuite:** We use this software in order to schedule, track patient appointments, and see the progress of our scheduled patient visits. Administrators can block off times so other employees can see when and when not to schedule a patient which is a good thing to have. However, I would suggest a different software if there will be a lot of patients considering there seems to be a lot of bugs. I know our office has had a lot of difficulty of the software deleting things or certain appointments disappearing. I will say user error could be part of the issue but I know it isn't always the easiest to use. Some people on the clinical team have used other systems that they enjoyed more and they felt were easier to use. I typically use Greenway for scheduling reports and those are not very easy to pull. I use a remote desktop in order to access Greenway so that is part of the problem but even then the reports are not always simple to retrieve. **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company uses this software to track and schedule patients for office visits. It is nice to easily check in a patient and check out a patient and it is also pretty simple to find all the information you need about a patient. ### 16. When any reports are being done, the whole system slows to a crawl. updates are not tested very well and usually cause issues after they are installed. **Recommendations to others considering PrimeSuite:** evaluate other software before you buy this one **What problems is PrimeSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** the only benefits are that it keeps patient records and allows you to bill patients. ### 27.
