I like to receive suggestions on how to correct typos and, especially, how I can improve my writing and rephrase sentences. However, my favorite part is receiving feedback on the weekly Grammarly Insights. It helps me see my evolution and boosts my confidence because I can see that I'm getting better every week. As an international student who needs to write in a different language, Grammarly is a powerful tool. It is not only a correction tool that quickly shows my mistakes but also an instrument for learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is only one thing that I really dislike. The Grammarly widget assistant does not allow you to move it to a position on your screen that is better for you. While writing a Word document, for example, the widget stays positioned at the bottom right corner of my screen, just covering the hour and time information. Other times, it is just right next to your text and the point you're trying to focus on your screen. Sometimes, when you have a great idea, and you need to write it down fast before you lose it, having the widget assistant right close to what you're writing, changing colors and numbers to show your errors that are mostly typos from fast typing, can be annoying and distracting. I've lost my focus on great ideas a few times because of it. I know users can choose to turn it off for that document or 1 hour, but what I truly need is just a few minutes without a visual distraction so close to the point my eyes are looking at the screen.
If there was a way that users could choose where to position the widget assistant on their screen or pin it at the taskbar, I think it would be a significant improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grammarly helps so much with making writing stronger and tailored specifically to the need necessary. It is avaialble in anything that write in on my computer. Broswing internet, documents, emails, text messages, and everything that I am writing in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A downside is with the extension. It can only be located in specific areas of the screen and it can get in the way of selecting or pressing important buttons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grammarly is incredibly easy to implement. The small learning curve made it accessible to use right away. One of the biggest benefits is that it has helped me recognize a common mistake I used to make—and now I naturally avoid it!
It integrates with all of the programs I use. Grammarly is like an invisible virtual writing coach who shows up every day to help me to write with confidence.
It saves me time by letting me focus on writing, knowing Grammarly will help refine my sentences for better clarity and flow. I also enjoy the weekly reports that show how I compare to other users and analyze my writing tone—it adds a fun, insightful touch!
Grammarly has been so reliable that I haven't needed to use customer support.
Overall, it’s a great tool for boosting confidence in writing and smoothing the editing process. I rated it an 8/10 because while it’s excellent, there’s always room for improvement. I highly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about Grammarly is how their logo pops up to offer assistance. It often gets in the way of text I want to be able to see before I am ready for writing assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grammarly really works. It runs in the background, and as I am writing, it gives suggestions on how to make things better, clearer, and more concise. It is so easy to use. I am an attorney, and I write for a living, and Grammarly is really helpful, to give a new spin or alternatives to the way I phrase things. I was doubtful at the beginning, but I would highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside of the program is that, at times, I have to disregard its suggestions in that they do not work for the purpose that I am writing. I am okay with that because it at least gives a new perspective to my language. I don't always follow it, but I think it is helpful. The other issue is once in a while, its suggestions are really off-target. It doesn't happen often, but is does happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grammarly offers numerous benefits that can significantly enhance writing quality. One of the most helpful aspects is its real-time grammar and spell-checking capabilities, which help ensure that your writing is free from common errors. Additionally, Grammarly provides contextual suggestions for word choice and style adjustments, allowing users to elevate their writing's clarity and effectiveness.
The platform also features a plagiarism checker, which is invaluable for maintaining originality and upholding academic integrity. Moreover, its ability to analyze tone can help writers convey their intended message more effectively, whether it be formal, casual, persuasive, or informative. By providing detailed explanations for its suggestions, Grammarly not only corrects mistakes but also educates users, fostering long-term improvements in their writing skills. Overall, Grammarly serves as a comprehensive writing assistant that enhances both the accuracy and expressiveness of users' written communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One issue with Grammarly is that the floating icon can obstruct the view on desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Even while writing this review, I am using Grammarly to convey my thoughts clearly. This is something I find challenging without it, especially in my day-to-day life as a college student who frequently emails, texts, and communicates with coworkers, friends, and others. Being able to write exactly what I mean and send it without worry is what Grammarly is all about, and that’s why I love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, Grammarly goes a bit too far with its suggestions, and I would say it's a bit bold. However, I can adjust my text to match what I want, and Grammarly updates its suggestions accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how Grammarly checks my writing as I'm writing (emails, documents, proposals, notes), helping me with everything from spelling to punctuation to proper tense and the use of various vocabulary. It also helps match my writing style to my audience, and provides me with valuable feedback on various metric. It's incredibly easy to use, I use it all the time (even with my personal emails and notes), it easily integrates and is implemented with Google Chrome and Microsoft Word, and I recommend it to everyone in the business world. My only issue has been with their customer service, not because they haven't been responsive. Sometimes, I can't tell if a chatbot or a human is responding because my questions and issues aren't always understood and responded to as I ask them to (e.g., their pricing and trying to settle my account). With Grammarly, you simply type what you want to say, and it takes care of the rest. The interface is intuitive, allowing you to choose from a variety of options to sound professional, my personal favorite for work. It's so user-friendly that I've even added it to my iPhone for professional-sounding texts. I use it every day, all day long, and have never had to contact customer service. Grammarly is truly a self-sufficient tool. I installed it and started using it immediately. When you install Grammarly on your cell phone, you can find it under the keyboard.
As I'm writing this review, Grammarly is correcting everything I've said incorrectly in real time. It's like having a personal editor always at your service.
This is not just a tool, but a companion in my writing journey. I can confidently say that Grammarly is well worth your money. I absolutely could not and will not ever live without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, I have not found anything about Grammarly I did not like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So, I write a lot, sorta' in this style you are reading now. I produce all the creative content on multiple sites I own.
That's What Family Is For: Every time I would produce a new document, I shared it with my wife (an attorney) and daughter (an English major).
The Glee: They have no problem correcting my grammar and pointing out my shortcomings. In fact, I think they experience a certain amount of glee in identifying and correcting my... umm, shortcomings.
The Reveal: I used to fear 'the reveal,' that moment when I forwarded my soul for their analysis and approval.
Like The Stepford Wives: But now... since I employ Grammarly as my personal "wife/daughter analytical replacement" my errors are fewer and they spend most of their time praising my creative analysis.
Like The Stepford Wives... But Better: And, since Grammarly instituted an "AI" component, my creative endeavors receive a 'once-over' before I submit to my real-world analyzers.
Grammarly has improved my relations with my family... and my readers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They continue institute updates, and sometimes, I miss them.
Their annual fee model is understandable, but much like Netflix, they charge their rate because... they can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Grammarly Professional for a while now, and it's made a significant difference in my writing workflow. The "tab" correction feature is a real time-saver, allowing me to clean up spelling and key grammar mistakes in one go. The punctuation corrections are particularly strong, catching subtle errors that are easy to miss.
What I appreciate most is it provides solid grammar recommendations. I do have my own writing style, so I don’t always follow every suggestion, however, many of its edits genuinely improve clarity, making my writing more polished and easier to read.
If you're looking for a tool that enhances your writing while still letting you maintain your personal voice, Grammarly Professional is definitely worth it. Highly recommended for professionals who need to write efficiently and have suggestions to make your writing "easier" to read and more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, the grammar it suggests is NOT my writing style, and I wish I could turn some suggestions off (e.g., a full stop after Mr., Mrs., etc., which we DO have in the UK but apparently not in the US). However, overall, it is an excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reading what I write is the window through which my readers make their opinion about me.
As English is not my mother tongue language, the best of Grammarly, in my opinion, is the suggestions for rephrasing whole sentences to put them in better and proper sentence construction in the eyes of English mother tongue readers.
Of course, the basic grammar correction is of the same importance for the same reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I do not like about Grammarly is the delays it puts when I create text in Office utilities (MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
I understand that the delay is due to analyzing the text I am creating. Yet, that could be done locally on my computer and not, as I suspect, by sending everything I write to the Grammarly server to be done there.
Also, If Grammarly transfers every text I create to its servers, this can make a confidentiality problem regarding the privacy of my text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
