"Strong Security and Simple Admin, but the Console Can Be Slow"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

If you and your users are already familiar with the UI from using Google’s suite of tools personally, it makes everything much easier to manage. Administration is really straightforward, with granular control over permissions and groups. In particular, the ability to manage the “Sign in with Google” option through the API controls is a game changer for security. Being able to outright block users from signing in with a company account to unapproved and unverified services is amazing. Support is good enough as there's plenty support articles online. Regarding pricing to feature ratio, even if you aren't an enterprise size company, getting the enterprise license is worth it just for the security features, also considering you get Gemini pro included with the enterprise license is amazing. The performance. if the admin console can be slow sometimes , but it is good enough, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Performance of the Admin console can be slow sometimes. Functions like the Mailbox migration ( upon user deletion) is not part of the flow itself and needs extra steps like getting employee approval(which can be very tricky at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Google Workspace Integration That’s Intuitive to Use"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

One of the main reasons I’m drawn to working with Google Workspace is how well all the products are integrated. Everything works seamlessly together, and the overall experience feels intuitive and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

There are one or two products which I find less intuitive - for example, Google Calendar can be very frustrating at times in terms of specific settings and configurations. It would be helpful if there was an AI agent in Google Workspace in general which could make changes if you don't know where to find the exact setting/configuration via menus. "A Single, Fluid Workspace That Turns Files Into Answers—and Presentations"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

It isn't just a suite of apps, it's a single, fluid environment where your work moves instantly between Docs, Sheets, and gmail without friction. With tools like Google vids and veo - you can traensform a simple text document into a professional video presentation with just a prompt. Features like NotebookLM and AI-powered search turn your massive archive of files into a private, searchable knowledge base that actually gives you answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Mobile apps for docs and sheets feel like viewers rather than true editors, lacking the robust features found in their desktop-class completitors. Managing alerts across gmail, google chat, spaces, and document comments is still a fragmented mess that often leads to missed messages or notification fatigue. For heavy data users, sheets still can't match the raw processing power, complex macros and massibe data-handling capabilities of a dedicated desktop app like excel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Google Workspace Integration with Great Value!"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

I like how much you can integrate into Google Workspace. I have my email, of course, my docs, forms, even my business YouTube blends seamlessly into the workspace. It is always so easy to use, super quick, and barely crashes. I have a yearly subscription for my business so I can get more storage space and it's a VERY good bang for your buck. Their help center is very thorough with the answer to whatever questions you may have, but even if you can't find it, they're very supportive. I've also loved the integration with Gemini AI now, it's been helpful for my content writing and emails! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Honestly, nothing! I've been using it since my HS days (which was about 10 years ago) and haven't looked back since. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and reliable collaboration tool for everyday team workflows"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

We use Google Workspace every day at Instaservice, especially Google Sheets and Google Docs, to manage data and support internal collaboration.

What I like most is how easy it is for multiple people to work on the same file at the same time. For example, our team often updates Sheets together to track leads or day-to-day operations, and everything stays in sync, which helps avoid confusion.

Sharing is also very straightforward. We can quickly grant access to team members with the right permissions, and that keeps collaboration smooth across different teams.

I also occasionally use Google Apps Script to automate small workflows, which adds a lot of flexibility without needing more complex tools.

Overall, it’s reliable, easy to use, and integrates well with the other tools we rely on, so it fits naturally into our daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

One limitation we’ve noticed with Google Docs is advanced formatting. Compared with tools like Microsoft Word, the options for fonts, styling, and page layout can feel a bit limited.

When we need more detailed or polished documents, it sometimes takes extra effort or a few workarounds to get things looking right, which can slow the process down.

We’ve also seen occasional performance lag as files and sheets get larger, especially when working with heavier data in Google Sheets.

Overall, it’s great for collaboration, but there’s still room to improve advanced formatting and the way it handles larger datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Real-Time Collaboration with Strong Cloud Integration and Admin Controls"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

Real-time collaboration is a major strength: teams can see edits instantly and work together in Docs, Sheets, and Slides without running into file conflicts. The unified cloud ecosystem also stands out, with deep integration that makes it easy to turn a Gmail chat into a Meet video call or attach/link Drive files directly in a Calendar invite.

In terms of accessibility and speed, being cloud-native means files are available from anywhere on any device, which can also help reduce IT overhead. Search and organization are strong as well—Drive and Gmail offer robust search tools that make it quick and efficient to find older documents and email threads.

Security and administration feel well covered, since the centralized Admin Console lets managers control security settings, enable 2FA, manage users, and keep data protected even when employees leave. Finally, the AI integration (Gemini) can boost productivity by summarizing long documents and email conversations and helping automate workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Weak offline functionality: Offline access isn’t native. It depends on using the Chrome browser and doing a manual setup. Even then, offline mode is limited—many features like spell check, full search, or creating new folders aren’t available—so it feels more like a workaround than a robust capability.

Lack of advanced functionality (vs. MS 365): For power users, Google Sheets falls short compared with Excel, especially due to missing advanced options like complex pivot tables, a more robust Power Query experience, or VBA macros. On top of that, moving files between Google Docs and Microsoft Word often leads to formatting issues, including font or formula errors. Finally, Google Slides doesn’t offer the same level of presentation tools as PowerPoint, particularly advanced animations such as morph transitions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Collaboration, But A Bit Pricey"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

I find Google Workspace really valuable for organizing a virtual team working in different geographic locations. We use it to meet regularly, organize our calendars, and communicate with each other. It's great because everything's in one place, which helps us share the platform effectively. Google Meet is amazing, and we use it a lot, along with other features like co-editing documents and sharing them externally for partnerships and communities. Most of the time, we're coordinating calendars to plan product releases and regular catch-ups. Using email is also a key part of our communication. Overall, I appreciate that Google Workspace brings a lot of our documentation into one place and allows us to integrate well with other tools like our AI marketing platform and our event management tool, LUMA. The initial setup was quite easy too, thanks to our CTO and CEO, making it straightforward for our small team of five. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

It's a fairly expensive solution. I'm not sure the task management is fully integrated into the calendar. I'm probably not that happy with the chat, as a business we've preferred to use Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google Workspace: Unified Connectivity and Easy Integrations"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

It may seem obvious, but the best thing about Google Workspace is the connectivity and unified medium where all your company documentation can live. Google also has many specialised products, that you can look into if they fit your company needs.

It also has integrations to many other services, so it's easy to reference information that lives in your workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

I'm personally not a big fan of some of their data products, like Looker. They're not particularly friendly and lack some functions for non-technical people.

Permissions can also be a little bit finicky to manage if your organisation is very large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Integration, Minor Permission Quirks"
What do you like best about Google Workspace?

I love the interconnected access to multiple tools in one platform with Google Workspace. I like that I can integrate it into other tools like Claude and ClickUp, and it's easy to access wherever I am. Using Google Sheets, I've been able to create efficiencies by building app scripts that automate tasks such as building folders and renaming files based on campaign and asset ID inputs. It also helps map out my consistent scheduled posts based on the start date before pulling projects into the project management tool. The initial setup was pretty easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

I find the sharing permissions a little complicated. For example, we have a main umbrella access but for me to be able to move folders into a folder that I have full permissions for, I needed full permission at the umbrella folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
