What I like most about Google Workspace is how seamlessly the apps work together. I regularly use Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Meet, and the real-time collaboration tools save me a lot of time by avoiding multiple file versions and cutting down on constant email follow-ups.

The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the cloud-based setup makes it simple to work from anywhere. The integrations between Gmail, Calendar, and Meet also make scheduling and communication feel smooth and efficient.

One thing I dislike about Google Workspace is that some of the more advanced formatting options and features in Google Sheets and Google Docs still feel limited compared with desktop-based Microsoft Office tools. Google Workspace is easy to use, and the tools you need to get a task done are right in front of you. When you do need to rely on third-party platforms, Google Workspace makes it simple to sync with a wide range of services for different purposes. Compared to its counterparts, the individual programs in Google Workspace respond faster and feel snappier overall. With the ability to integrate Gemini into your Google calls, Google Workspace also enables quick transcription. And if you ever run into an issue, a live agent is readily available to help resolve your concerns quickly.

Because it’s free for nonprofits, Google Workspace really gives you the best bang for your buck.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

While Google Workspace is already well positioned, it could improve its support for Google Ad for Nonprofits. At the moment, that support is essentially nonexistent, even though support is available for other users. As a result, nonprofit users can end up stranded and left relying on online suggestions that don’t always take their specific context into account the way direct communication with a support agent would.

Other email services have the ability to recall emails, even after long periods, Gmail while not lacking this feature, can greatly improve on it. The pop-up that is provided at the successful sending of an email is insufficient as the user might miss that due to panic and a lot of other factors. Adding a time limit of say 30 minutes to be able to recall emails will be incredible.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Google Workspace, documents had to be created in separate programs, saved, and then sent via email or another method. On the receiving end, people also had to make sure they had the same version of whatever document-creation platform was used to create the file.

With Google Workspace, a lot of time is saved because everyone is always on the same version. The autosave and live-edit features mean changes are reflected in real time, so everyone sees the same updates to their documents as they happen.

The standout feature for us is the real-time collaboration capabilities. Being able to have multiple team members editing a Google Doc or Sheets file simultaneously without version control nightmares has drastically improved our workflow. The comment and suggestion modes make feedback loops seamless, and the fact that everything auto-saves to the cloud means we never lose work.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

What I like the most is the entire ecosystem connected in one place. All Google tools are available in a single interface, and if you work with colleagues or delegate tasks within the team, you can really configure the access and security levels for each person. Moreover, once you take on Google Workspace, you find yourself with Gemini AI on all the tools, and the Pro subscription is included. Very convenient, very satisfied with the Google Workspace suite.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The disadvantages of the Google Workspace suite are clearly the admin interface, which is absolutely not intuitive (as is often the case with Google products). Navigation is not easy and there are numerous settings: at first, you don't really know what to configure. When you're independent and just want two Gmail addresses, it's already a real challenge to set up. Fortunately, there are some indications and information, but overall the UI is not easy to grasp.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The suite is great. You can easily navigate between Calendar, Gmeet, Gmail, and all the tools in the suite without having to subscribe to different plans. Having Google Drive integrated into all the tools is a real advantage. Now, AI is also integrated everywhere: it's truly an additional asset for productivity.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I do a lot of reporting and analysis in Google Sheets.

Being able to link sheets easily and import data from one sheet to another makes it really useful for setting up reports. I can have variables and data flowing through without needing to update things in multiple places.

Apps Script also makes it easy to run APIs to refresh data, format reports, and automate other tasks. I have lots of small workflows set up that let colleagues refresh reports with the click of a button, as well as reports that automatically refresh at a specific time of day.

It’s also straightforward to set up external Python scripts that read from and write to Sheets for more complex data analysis.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

It can be frustrating to import CSV files or Office files. Rather than double clicking to open the file, you need to make sure it's placed in a Drive folder, or import it to Google Workspace

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborative and automated data editing and reporting. Allows me to easily set things up, but then share them with other team members, without worrying about them using outdated versions/files.

The best thing about Google Workspace is its real-time collaboration, which we get through our company email address. With it, we can seamlessly work across multiple Google tools while collaborating virtually with other team members, and it also includes built-in video conferencing. Google Workspace brings all the tools together in one place, whether you want to use Docs, Sheets, Slides, or Forms—everything is available and easy to use. And thanks to Gemini, which is now integrated into these tools, it helps make day-to-day tasks easier.

There are 2 dislikes who I want to highlight:
1. Google sheet struggles in taking larger datasets and gets laggy sometimes.
2. If the Internet stops working, it becomes difficult to get it worked in offline mode. Either it should be installed locally otherwise it doesn’t work properly

Firstly, it addresses the need for reliable cloud storage. With Google Drive, I can store and access files even from my mobile phone, which makes it very convenient and compatible across devices. It also helps keep everyone in the organisation aligned, since anyone can work on the same files and stay in sync. **What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

Google Workspace gives me a wide range of collaboration tools, including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Files, Whiteboard, and Slides. Everything is easy to access and works smoothly enough for us to do our best work. It’s also straightforward to switch between different Workspace apps and pick the right one depending on what we need at the moment. Google also provides cloud storage for our data with a specified storage limit, which I find especially useful for keeping things organized. Google Chat makes it easy to communicate updates and share items with end users as well, and overall it’s been pretty effective for our day-to-day communication. Pricing wise I was able to use the Google most used products with very minimal cost. Google workspace integration becomes very easy with any other software. Google provides intuitive UI, no additional support was never required. Performance wise the importance to adapt the AI features in increasing the stability overall. Any support required is instantly offered to any extension.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Offline functionality for docs could be made better, sharing files with access could have been with better UI experience. Extension support in Google interface could have been made better.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google workspace helps me to solve all the problem in place by providing communication options through Google chat. Documentation with Google docs, presentation with Google slides, file sharing through Google drive, email with gmail support, meeting with Google meet and many more. Team collaboration with Google workspace is verry effective. Email support with valid cloud storage is very effective.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I like how quickly I can use Google chat and the Google calendar which helps me stay up to date and on top of my tasks. It is always super easy to communicate with my coworkers quickly. I am able to always get quick support from the help members when needed. The price is reasonable for how much my company uses and for how that is our only system we rely on for communication and scheduling. It helps us track employees. It is easily implementable to other platforms that help us be able to switch back and forth if needed.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The Google chat becomes disorganized and chaotic easily when multiple threads of messages are coming through from replies. The Google sheets and slides are also sometimes confusing as most people are used to working on PowerPoint and Excel.

Constant updates and the AI chat boxes are very helpful.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

All my files and services are accessible anywhere, I don't need to be tied to my desktop. Getting my work done securely from any browser, somewhat limited, but still very useful on the smart phone. The performance is quite reliable, and I like how some apps like calendar are integrated accross others. Minimal onboarding is required as the interfaces are quite intuitive. 
I'm very keen to now try out the Notebook LM that I haven't had a chance to yet, but I expect a lot of value from it, based on what I have heard.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

If I absolutely had to find fault, then I'd say that it's been a while since the overall design across the board has been significantly updated. There is a slight datedness to the Google look that has lost some shine over time and feels a bit drab or uninspiring at times.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not use all the services available to me on Google Workspace, but everything I use is well integrated, starting with email, my usual first port of call at work, from where it's really easy to schedule meetings, tasks etc., review or edit files and even chat with workmates.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

What I like most is how simple it is to manage. It’s very easy for me to handle the overall organization, create new users, migrate from other services and accounts (including personal Gmail accounts), and keep everything managed centrally. It also integrates with everything I personally need. It has MCP servers and great Gemini integration, and because it supports MCP, I can connect it with Claude as well.

Reliability is consistently high, it’s really fast, and it’s super easy to sign in across multiple devices. It’s also very affordable for the amount of storage and performance you get. Since it’s cloud-native, I feel like I’m actually getting what I paid for, and I can run it even on really low-powered devices.

Support is okay, but sometimes it’s hard to get what I need, and billing can be a bit complicated. The AI functionality is pretty good overall, though it could be better in Gmail.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The only thing I don’t like about Workspace is that the admin app on iOS feels really out of date, and it limits what I can do from my phone. It seems like it would be pretty straightforward for them to modernize it with AI coding tools, so I’m not sure why it still hasn’t been updated.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a number of small businesses, and Google lets me stand up new IT environments very quickly while still keeping them easy to manage. One of the biggest benefits for me is that I can stay logged into all of them at once. I can’t do that with Microsoft—I have to sign in and out of each account, and it doesn’t seem to like having multiple accounts signed in at the same time. With Google, I can be signed into everything simultaneously and switch between them seamlessly.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

Hello, the most useful thing about using Google Workspace is being able to work on everything in real-time with the work team. Searches are easy and fast. Shared drives allow you to create different portfolios for each client and have better taxonomy and organization of your work, but definitely what I like the most and find useful is having access to all my documents in real-time connected to a Wi-Fi network.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

I don't like the PDF option, which is always with Adobe and has its limitations for some uses we want to implement with AI and even openings. I don't like that you can't share the entire Shared Unit, only the folders. I don't like that there isn't a functionality to identify duplicates of the same documents to free up space. I also don't like the customer support.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is storage and the freedom to work in real-time, additional documents, and being able to have simple quality calls with clear summaries. Finally, you don't have to pay for Microsoft licenses for using Microsoft Office, as it very well replaces its similar options.

Simplicity for end users to navigate through the productivity apps, such as chat, drive and mail.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

For administrators, unfortunately, there are quite a few downsides. For example, there’s a lack of granular controls to restrict sharing between external domains, limited ability to configure OAuth apps only for specific OUs, and ongoing difficulty managing user updates in bulk. Overall, it has the same simplicity as the end-user experience, but for admins that simplicity turns into a drawback.

The lack of detailed, thorough, and up-to-date documentation—combined with unclear options for enforcing controls and managing users—makes administration more frustrating than it should be. There are also too many limitations around context-aware access level rules, creating and enforcing DLP custom rules, and managing Google Vault rules and cases. On top of that, consuming audit logs in the console is very clunky; to analyze them properly, everything essentially needs to be exported to Google Cloud.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identity Provider with context-aware access restrictions that help ensure only compliant devices and approved users can access organizational resources. It also supports mailbox and file management through Gmail and Google Drive. Overall, it benefits end users by being easy to use and offering comfortable, familiar interfaces, so they can stay productive instead of spending time configuring tools.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I mostly use Google Workspace during office hours for communication and maintaining shared project files. Gmail and Google Meet are open almost the entire day for discussions with teammates and clients.

We also maintain requirement trackers and task updates in Google Sheets. One practical thing that helps is that multiple people can update the same sheet during meetings itself, so we do not have to send revised files after every discussion.

Another thing I use often is Google Docs for preparing meeting notes or documenting client feedback while calls are happening. Since everything is linked to the same account, switching between Meet, Docs, and Gmail feels convenient during daily work.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Sometimes shared documents become difficult to manage when many people are editing at the same time. I have also seen Google Sheets lag a bit when trackers become large or contain many formulas.

Notification management can also be slightly overwhelming because updates from Gmail, Calendar, and Docs all appear together during busy workdays.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, updates were mostly shared through email attachments, and different people sometimes worked on different file versions without realizing it.

Now, our team mainly works on shared Sheets and Docs directly inside Google Workspace. For example, during requirement discussions, updates are made live in the tracker itself so everyone can immediately see the latest information. We also use Google Meet for quick clarification calls instead of waiting for scheduled meetings.

This has reduced confusion around file versions, improved communication inside the team, and made collaboration faster in day-to-day project work.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I a Big Google fan , I am using google workspace from last 4 to 5 years, it helps me stay organize and aligned with multiple teams, working on data pipelines and reporting layers, I use Google sheets to validate sample datasets reconcile counts and share quick data checks with analysts before changes go to production, Google docs is where we maintain table definitions, ETL logic explanations and data quality rules and the live editing makes collaboration smooth during design discussions, drives permission control is useful when sharing sensitive warehouse documentation with the right team only. also the google meet is our primary meeting tool , its amaizing, has no time limit like other platforms. and also voice and audio quality is amazing with AI enhacements.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

when i use sheets for large datasets or complex formulas, performance can slow down. for deeper analysis, i still rely on warehouse like  bigquery rather than spreadsheets.

well the it solve the problem of seamless communication in all the conditions with google meet, and scattered documentation and communication in data projects, it creates a single place where business users, analyst and engineers can review definitions, approve changes and track updates, this reduces back and fourth emails and avoids confusion around schema changes or metric logic. google workspace is a strong collaboration platform for data warehouse work.

What makes Google Workspace great is how effortlessly it keeps my team on the same page. I can jump into a document with three other team member and edit in real time without any lag or version control nightmares. The fact that it lives entirely in the browser means i never have to worry about hitting save or losing my work if a laptop dies. It just works, anywhere, on any device.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The biggest headache is definitely offline mode as if my internet drops, trying to work on files gets incredibly clunky and unreliable. It’s also frustrating how quickly it eats up your computer's RAM when you have multiple tabs open.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace stops my team from emailing files back and forth, completely fixing the mess of having multiple versions of the same document. Also For me, it means I can switch from my laptop to my phone mid-project and keep working seamlessly. Having email, calendar, and chat all in one tab saves me a ton of time and keeps me organized without constant app-switching.

I like most about Google Workspace is that how everything works smoothly altogether in one place like Gmail, google drive, Docs, Sheets and Meet are easy to use and make collaboration very simple. The interface is easy to use and clean as well. It is so simple so even the new user can quickly learn and understand very easily. All apps are integrated with each other makes collaboration easy between team or multiple teams. It saves alot of time. the performance is very reliable as files loads quickly, real time editing works well. Overall it makes the work more efficient and well organized.

The things i dislike about Google workspace is that the pricing, when you talk about the advance features or higher storage plans needed, cost increases quickly and ROI not justified for small teams. Support could also be better but initial onboarding is easy. In term of AI capability still feel very basic and not feel completely integrated but just another software.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

The most useful part of Google Workspace is the seamless integration between the different tools. Moving between Docs and Sheets, and having them work smoothly together, is a real advantage. The UI is clean and easy to read, which is a big bonus compared with rival platforms.

Performance is usually flawless, with very rare issues that lead to larger outages. That said, I can only recall two instances where I wasn’t able to work; both were wider issues and were resolved relatively quickly with support. This is another key benefit. Using a cloud platform means the impact of an outage can be greater, but it also means it’s handled by a large team at Google.

The Gemini integration is also great. It’s a useful AI tool for refining my day-to-day emails, and the deep research models help support my code and overall structure of work. I don’t have significant experience with the pricing side; however, my workplace continues to invest more into G suite, so the ROI should be strong for my business, which is a large utilities firm.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Some functions aren’t as easy to use in Google Sheets, or simply don’t exist in the same way as they do on rival platforms. One thing that comes to mind is that Sheets doesn’t offer as many options to customise how data is presented. For example, when I create a pivot table with date-based data, rival tools will automatically group dates into weeks, months, quarters, and years, which really helps clean up large datasets. In Google Sheets, this kind of grouping isn’t as straightforward, and improving it would be a big upgrade to better match the benefits of rivals.

Another downside is the capacity limits. Google Sheets can only handle a certain amount of data. That’s fine for day-to-day tasks, but in my work, dealing with significantly larger datasets means we can’t rely solely on Google Sheets, and we still need a rival platform to support those tasks.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Google Workspace is solving for me is filling gaps in my knowledge through Gemini’s generative AI. Gemini also makes my day-to-day work noticeably smoother and faster. I no longer need to reach out to other parts of the business for general skills support, like coding and data work. That removes the wait time for other stakeholders and helps me get the right answers quickly to support my tasks and initiatives.

Whether I’m using Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides, the UI feels consistent, generally the same, and nicely standardized across the apps.

Some formatting issues can come up when you import documents from Microsoft, especially Excel. Also, some formulas in Excel do not work properly in Google Sheets. At times, if your document is large and contains many pages, tabs, and images, it can slow down quite a bit and take a bit longer to load.

Previously, when I created a document or a spreadsheet, I had to start from scratch and slowly build up the content. I like how easy it is to collaborate with my colleagues and students. I like how efficient it is and I love how it integrates with Canvas. My favorite feature of Google Workspace is how one can force a copy with people/students/colleagues. I LOVE THAT. NEVER GET RID OF IT.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The biggest thing I don't like about Google Workspace is the design elements. The default templates in Google slides are ugly, Google drawings is a little worthless, and the stock images are not cute or creative at all. I think that teachers and students like to make pretty things, but people are turning to Canva for these things. If you want to get back to the cutting edge, I would make it cute again. Better templates, better colors, more like Canva.

The problems that Google Workspace is solving is "How can we collaborate on this email together?" I love the "@" building blocks that you can build within your document. I love Google vids. It's basic, but it solves the problem of "we are paying x amount of money to WeVideo, when we have the same thing for hardly any money over here."

I like Google Workspace because I collaborate a lot with others. That collaboration is real time and it works anywhere. I use Google Sheets, Documents, and Slides that update instantly for everyone. I don't have to worry about emailing files back and forth. It also provides great options for allowing others to view only, edit, and/or download. Google Workspace is very useful when I work in Teams with others. It also integrates well with Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Drive, and other Docs. The price is great also!

Google Workspace works offline, but the experience isn't as seamless as the desktop apps. I've noticed that it lags more more when working offline. The drive organization can get messy and confusing when sharing between my drive, shared drives, and file shortcuts.

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

Google has allowed our company to quickly and easily locate, share, organize, and use files, images, and other information across our remote-based company. 

Because all of our employees are familiar with Google, all of the applications in Google Workspace are easy to learn and seamlessly integrate with each other. We particularly use Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Gemini, Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Slides.  For our marketing company, all of the assets we store on Google Drive have made it simple to communicate throughout our company and use assets for presentations and sales calls. 

While many coworkers use the AI Gemini, I use it very effectively to produce realistic AI images for marketing visuals and designs. 

There is no lag in use of any of the Google Apps, and files update within seconds on Google Drive. 

Our company also uses Monday.com, and Google Drive does seem to conflict when it comes to showing an updating non-Google file (such as a pdf). It treats it as though the file is deleted or in the trash instead of a file being updated; however, it's unclear whether this is a Monday.com issue or a Google Drive issue.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

While we have not used Google Meet recently, when we last used it several years ago, there was noticeable lags and glitches, which caused us to choose another video meeting platform. This could be due to too many team members being on the meeting at once. 

For what it does, the Google Workspace does seem to prove a great ROI for what we pay; however, we still do need to pay for better applications separate from the Workspace according to our needs. We would love the opportunity to use other apps in Google Workspace instead of our other applications that we pay separately for if the performance of the applications met our expectations. 

AI Gemini does seem to have issues making particular edits to image files after generating an image in the chat. However, it's not particularly

I like that Google Workspace is price effective and budget friendly, making it affordable for us. It's very useful in communications, with features like chats and emails. The integration with tools such as Jira and Slack, as well as other third-party applications, is very smooth, making it easy to manage domains and handle domain problems. I find it very easy to use and manage. Setting it up was straightforward, and it enhances our daily communications. Overall, Google Workspace supports our entire organization of around 40 people effectively, both in India and the US.

Yeah. It's quite, we can say, one of the improvements I can believe in, you know, in Google Chat, we are getting the messages. It is you know, forward the message is still there, but we need to, you know, Slack the groups and all these things. It is a little bit complex for us to sharing the images and all these things. So if, you know, have the better understanding to, you know, forwarding the messages and all these things, it will be the more accurate and more things will be the helpful for us.

What I like most about Google Workspace is that all the tools work very well together and make daily work much faster. The interface is clean and easy to use, even for people who are not very accustomed to this type of platform. In our case, we use Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Meet a lot, and being able to have everything connected in one place greatly facilitates organization.

We have also done well with integrations and synchronization between devices. Video calls usually work stably, and collaborating on documents in real-time saves the team a lot of time. In terms of performance, we haven't had major problems, and everything usually loads quickly.

As for the price, it seems quite reasonable for everything it includes, especially for small or remote teams. Additionally, the AI features they have been adding to some tools are useful for quick tasks and productivity. The support and initial setup were also quite straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

What I like least about Google Workspace is that some advanced features are only available in more expensive plans, so sometimes you have to look for external tools for certain needs. There are also times when the organization of permissions in Drive can be a bit confusing, especially when working with many clients or shared folders.

In Google Meet, we have had some video calls where the resource consumption was quite high, especially with older equipment. And although the support works well, in some cases the responses could be a bit faster. Even so, overall the experience has been quite positive.

As an undergraduate science student, Google Workspace is my daily lifeline. What I like best is the seamless integration between Drive, Docs, and Sheets. I rely heavily on Google Drive to securely store all my large wave optics and mechanics PDFs, along with high-res scanned copies of my professional sketches. Google Docs is incredibly versatile—I use it not only for drafting complex university assignments but also for typing out my original poetry and shayari before campus literary events. I like the collaborative nature of Google Workspace. It allows us to collaborate both internally and externally very easily. Almost everyone can easily either already has a Gmail address or can easily get one, so it provides a low barrier to entry for collaborative opportunities for our business. It's a platform that's so much more usable and collaborative and better than Microsoft 365 for our team. The document sharing and the high collaborative nature of Google Docs and Google Slides are features we really prefer. Our organization is heavily dependent on Google Workspace. Also, the initial setup of Google Workspace is really easy and super easy to implement, which makes it appealing for organizations looking for an alternative to other tech stacks.

I really don't like the fact that you are limited to just using Gemini for Google Workspace. I would love to be able to have a plugin for my cloud subscription to Google Slides and easily create presentations, proposals, and documents, and my own branding much more easily than I currently do. We integrate these tools into our daily ops and SOPs, so it's important that they work seamlessly together. All of these services communicate with each other, so keeping things orderly is easy. We use these things on a daily basis and it's very easy to navigate. We manage tons of emails, documents, and sheets in Google Workspace and never have an issue with load times or searching for specific files. For the amount of tools we have access to, the price is unbeatable. Something in particular that helps with our heavy email workload is the AI summaries available with Gmail.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Support could be a little better - it's hard to get a real person to talk to. That being said, we rarely require support for anything within Google Workspace.

The real-time collaboration is what makes it stand out. Multiple people can be in the same doc or sheet at once, making edits, leaving comments, and actually getting work done without stepping on each other’s toes. It removes the whole “final_v3_updated” version chaos completely. Everything being automatically saved and synced is a huge plus too. Google Sheets can slow down with really large datasets. It’s not a dealbreaker, but you definitely feel it once you start pushing it. Also, while it’s great for collaboration, it’s not as powerful as Excel for more complex data work. It’s basically eliminated a lot of inefficiencies around file sharing and team coordination. No more sending attachments back and forth or wondering if you’re looking at the latest version. Everything lives in one place and updates in real time. Integrations with tools like Zapier, Slack, and HubSpot also help connect everything, so workflows feel a lot more automated and less manual. These are my day to day things, so the flow is very much so permanent and solid. I also setup Slack notifications to fill out a rows in a spreadsheet, love that. For anything thats more trickier there's always scripts, which are powerhouses on its own.

If your team works collaboratively, this is a no-brainer. I know there are other tools/services, but nothing beats it. It’s easy to get started, and the value shows pretty quickly. If you’re doing super heavy data analysis, you might still need Excel, but for most use cases, this covers everything. Day-to-day, it’s just easy to use. The interface is clean, navigation makes sense, and everything being connected actually improves how you work. It’s one of those tools that you don’t really think about because it just works. Love how it also manages to surprise me "oh, I can do this as well" - kinda "didn't know I needed it, but it's great!"

Overall, very positive experience.

I've nothing major I'd say that I dislike about it. I'm not a big fan of AI in general, so I don't really utilize that option. 

As for pricing, support, onboarding, roi, everything is top notch, smooth experience, and timely!

We used to rely on Monday.com for project tracking, but it honestly felt like a glorified spreadsheet with extra layers and extra cost. We were paying for something we could replicate pretty easily. When we switched fully into Google Workspace, mainly Drive, Docs, and Sheets, we simplified everything. Instead of juggling tools, we now manage projects directly in Sheets using color coding, filters, and simple structures. It is faster, more flexible, and does not require constant maintenance. We struggled with scattered information and tool fatigue. Now, everything lives in one place under the same domain and is instantly accessible to the team. File sharing is seamless, permissions are easy to manage, and there is no confusion about versions.

One underrated benefit is notifications in Docs and Sheets. Being able to get notified when someone edits or updates something keeps everyone in sync, without extras slack messages

The result has been both time and cost savings. We eliminated a paid tool, reduced workflow friction, and made collaboration more natural. It is not just cheaper, it is actually more efficient for how we work day to day.

I like how everything within Google Workspace seamlessly interconnects, including apps needed to run my day to day business. For performance I cannot fault it, it is a lot easier to use especially when out and about visiting clients or from the airport departure lounge.  

As a sole trader without an in-house tech team, I have found Google Workspace's Customer Service and tech teams a fantastic help. For example, when I transitioned my business domain over they were able to talk me through all the necessary steps on the telephone without making me feel awkward for not knowing, and the same when I needed help setting up and integrating with the TidyCal and Mailchimp applications.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

I find printing a document from the Google applications within Workspace not as easy or simple as with other applications. If you want to print in landscape rather than portrait, this is an issue. 

Gemini Ai has been hit and miss, compared to other applications, so I now give this a wide berth.  If the information it provided was more accurate I might be prepared to use it again.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since switching to Google Workspace, there has been no need for expensive software licenses and e-mail hosting fees as it is all included in one subscription taken each month. This has made it more cost effective. 

The team at Google Workspace are very good at keeping me updated on what is changing when within the service plan and how it affects my business.  When I have needed to switch between the difference service plans so I can work on something in particular for a client with for example Notebook LM, this has been possible with ease. This is something of paramount importance to my business as a sole trader, without it I would be lost and paying an IT technician very expensive fees for the same service.

It is also user friendly without any of the complicated jargon that those of us not in the technological fields do not understand.

It also solves accessibility and device limitations. With cloud-based tools like Google Drive, I can access my files from any device without worrying about transferring data or losing work. I really like how many things Google Workspace includes for our company, like Gmail for emails, Google Chat for messaging, Google Meet for meetings, Google Calendar, Google Docs for collaborating, and Google Sheets for spreadsheet work. It's great that everything is in one place and connected, which saves time daily and improves the working experience. The addition of AI integrated features, like Gemini and the new Google Workspace AI Studio, is really appealing. Automations that we would have done with external software can now be done directly in Google Workspace natively, which is a game-changer. Google Apps Script for automating things is also very beneficial. In comparison to other tools like Microsoft Teams for business, I think Google Workspace offers more relevant and useful features, despite having slightly fewer apps. I also appreciate the significant options for integrations, like with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub, which Google Workspace facilitates well.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

I use Google Chat a lot, and I miss a lot of features that Slack has, like scheduling messages and some native powerful integrations. Gemini inside Sheets and Docs is only starting out, and it's not really powerful yet. I think Google has a lot of space to improve in this field. There are still more integrations that can be added, which will improve the overall experience.

Unbeatable IAM. The collaboration side is honestly unmatched. Having multiple people in the same doc or sheet at the same time works exactly the way you’d expect, no version conflicts and no “who has the file open” nonsense.

In my opinion, Gmail is still the best email client out there. And the fact that everything just works together (Calendar, Drive, Docs, Meet) without you having to think about it is a big deal. Since it’s all in the browser, it works on any device, and you don’t have to mess around with installs or licences on every machine.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The admin console can feel like a maze. Settings are spread across different sections, and it’s not always clear where a particular option lives. I’ve definitely spent more time than I’d like clicking around to find a specific policy or setting. Once you learn where everything is, it’s fine, but the learning curve is real.

Sheets also still isn’t quite at Excel’s level for heavier data work. For 90% of what I need it’s fine, but if you’re doing anything more power-user-y, you’ll notice the gap.

Support can be hit or miss as well, depending on what you’re dealing with.

Main thing is it just gives the whole team one place to work that actually plays nicely with itself. Email, calendar, docs, storage, video calls. It's all connected and you don't have to think about it. Saves a ton of friction compared to stitching together a bunch of separate tools.

With Google Workspace, everything just feels more in control. You can work on the same document with your team at the same time, and see changes instantly. There’s no need to keep sharing updated files. Plus, your work gets saved automatically, so you don’t have to worry about losing anything.

Another nice thing is that you can access your work from anywhere your phone, laptop, or any device. Everything stays in one place, which makes life much easier.

For me, the biggest benefits are:

I like being able to share and collaborate on the same document with my team. It’s really powerful to have several members of the team working together at the same time. It also includes all the features I’m used to in popular suites, and even adds more on top of that.

The only thing I dislike about Google Workspace is that Google Spreadsheets has a limit of 10 million cells. It’s very annoying because once a spreadsheet reaches that amount, it becomes impossible to work with. I know it’s not the right tool for handling that many cells, but I still think Google should be able to offer some kind of solution to this problem.

All the features that Google Workspace offers let us “make your own system” in just a few minutes. You can easily share it with the team and automate updates between different files. Overall, it’s very flexible and simple to use.
