I've used Livestorm, GoToWebinar, Demio, and Zoom, and this platform is the most customizable and beautiful and has quick integrations. The people are insanely responsive.
Chat is available. Our CSM (Brooke) responds in minutes, and even an AE (Ryan) responds in minutes when I reach out in frantic moments.
I'd recommend everyone try GC if they can. It's a platform that "thinks about all the little things" that delight us.
It's been working well for virtual events, webinars, and live events/dinners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing can get confusing and prohibitive for SMBs. The content lab is also lacking quite a bit and probably launched a bit early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From a Marketing Ops perspective, the additional tracking and sync abilities have made our webinar insights far more valuable & easier to distribute to the rest of the Org. There is a smooth integration with Salesforce that was a) easy to implement and b) empowers the org to be more strategic in following up with webinar attendees. Really no major dislikes, but I do think there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to Goldcast. Not because it's tricky to learn but because there are so many new and awesome features to take advantage of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Super easy to use and set up events
- Content lab is honestly a gamechanger. Has made it so much easier and faster for us to repurpose webinar content into short snippets and long form.
- Analytics are also very thorough. These have been insightful for us as a team to see what topics are most interesting and engaging for our target audience
- Customer Support have also been great. Any issues we've had their responses are fast, and they resolve quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Sending custom emails can be a little clunky - a smoother interface would be great here!
- Aggregating webinar data also would be great to see big picture metrics as opposed to individual events Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They are always improving. Their service is on par with the big players in the webinar universe, but their pricing is mostly inclusive of everything, which is great. We have had a few issues, but support was right on top of them, including during a live efvent \issue. We've been very very happy with our choice! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few little things form an admin perspective that aren't where i would expect them to be, but n othing that is so terrible that it affects the service. It's mostly just learning the tech and where things are... but that's going ot be with any tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The curation of the designs and landing page for sign ups is key.
Being able to curator not just a special experience for the listeners but also for the speakers, with features such as "back stage" has made it hard to not keep with this for years to come. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much, I believe we're looking to automate and learn more analytics from retention time/ user personas etc but all being built in automatically as time goes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the additions they've made to their virtual hosting experience. It's high on value and attendee appeal and low on gimmicks. Their genAI content tools are hands down the most incredible time saver I have in my tech stack.
In terms of how it works, I've found the platform easy to use, and I've purchased this at 2 companies. I enjoy their customer support team which is extremely prompt and available for support. Lastly, we easily integrated this with Hubspot, Salesforce, and have seamless connections in a way that other tools were not able to deliver on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their in-person badging is not as native to their core offering. This is totally not a deal breaker for us, but I know that other platforms differentiate around that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The team at Goldcast rapidly answers all of our questions and has built out critical features we need upon request. We gain much more insights into our events than we did with our older platform.
The platform is much more professional than what we used before (GoTo). We use it for the vast majority of our events, virtual and in person. We also use it for internal company events as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration to HubSpot could be a little more robust. It was easy to get basic data to HubSpot, but we needed to hire a third party developer to get more specific data mapped into our HubSpot database.
Update: the fixed the issue described below, only a few days after writing this review. Of course they probably fixed it before I submitted the review, but it reflects how fast they are at adding new features.
Goldcast does need to integrate more permission settings into the system. Things have certainly improved over the last year, allowing non-admins to check people in with the QR codes. However, there are moments where Goldcast has an all or nothing approach to permissions. In our most recent virtual internal event, I had to quickly duck out of the stage so that I wouldn't show up to everyone. I'm an admin because I help with the website and HubSpot integration, but I'm rarely involved with the presentation side of Goldcast.
It would be a nice improvement if Goldcast would allow me to choose whether I need to be "on stage" or not before I sign in. It would also be nice if we could manage what each person is allowed to do instead of giving them rights to do everything or restrict them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've had Goldcast for several years now, switching from Zoom. The platform has allowed us to lean into the true value that virtual events can bring to our company. It's easy to set up an event once you get the hang of it, it has great options for live and on-demand, our audience has a great experience with lots of opportunities for interactions. Oh, also their team is incredible, quick chat support, great CSMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With a lot of great customizations, comes a learning curve - but it's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Goldcast customer support gets an A+++ from me! They're extremely responsive and will continue to proivde daily updates until problems get fixed. I think it's rare to find a company that proactively provides updates on problems. I often have to keep hunting down answers with other software companies.
I also love the platform itself and how smooth the user experience is for attendees and speakers. I continually receive positive feedback from speakers saying that it was a breeze and they enjoyed all of the engagement features within the platform.
I could go on and on about Goldcast, but I'll end with highlighting their innovation. We signed a year contract in 2023 and signed another multi-year agreement in 2024. Throughout the time I have been a Goldcast customer I have seen so much positive change and innovation on the platform. They're also really great at providing updates and making sure customers have the resources they need when changes are happening. It's been an overwhelmingly positive experience, and I love running events using Goldcast! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've had some issues from time to time with integrations, but the Goldcast customer support team was able to help us resolve them. I will also add that sometimes settings can be in weird places, so it takes a little figuring out to remember where indivdual things are located. Once I had my standard event template setup, it was a breeze. I could see how it would take someone a little bit of time to get used to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
