I evaluated, selected, and implemented Goldcast for Intercom's global webinar program and it exceeded my expecastions. We use it for all of our webinars, virtual events, and some of our in-person activations. I focus primarily on demand generation webinars, but we run them across our entire customer journey through different internal teams and across a number of regions in different languages.
I use the platform every day and we dozens of webinars per quarter, usually more.
The biggest but often overlooked value-add is the actual webinar and virtual event experience for ateendees. It has all the table stakes features and they're delivered in a thoughtful way that drives real value. We can develop well-branded events and there is solid language localization as well.
The integration of real AI capabiltiies has been a game changer for us, and I'm impressed by their ability to ship quality improvements quickly.
The platform also has all the behind the scenes functionality we need, including event/webinar management, integrations, etc.
Their sales team was helpful during evaluation and I never feel like I'm constantly behing "upsold" to. Their CSM team is stellar and ensures we get the most out of the platform and is very receptive to feedback and feature requests. Support is prompt and helpful.
Implementation was not difficult, and it's easy to get up and running internally and onboard new teammates or users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of August 2024, the in-person event functionality is good, but could use some additional features and polish, specifically around check-in and badging integrations.
I'd also like to see a few more capabilities in terms of landing page customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After exploring various platforms for digital events, we discovered Goldcast, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish.
The ability to lead high-quality, branded, and streamlined digital events all in one place is a marketer's dream.
Being able to effortlessly brand, promote, and customize my events to precise specifications has been a fantastic experience so far.
Beyond hosting outstanding events, the customer support team has been phenomenal, ensuring our success and promptly resolving any issues we encounter during setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the product is great! If there is 1 thing I call out it would be the admin UI which can improve a bit but it isn't at any means non-functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Goldcast being the second webinar paltform I've used in my role, I can easily say it's one of the most intuative in terms of UX and UI. It's simple to use and even for first time webinar users, the stage interface makes the onboarding process easy for speakers and hosts.
Goldcast has also expanded their offering to content creation and the improvements made to this part of the platform continues to improve. I've noticed that Goldcast encourage feedback on their product and take it on board, as we consistently are seeing upgrades and changes made to the platform that we request or make sense to us. As it's a maturing platform, there any many changes made, meaning you've gotten used to 1 way of working and then you have to change, which can be frustrating (especially the UI for events look like it's currently undergoing A/B testing and I much prefer the simple layout of the older format).
If you want a platform that is mature and will change minimally, then this isn't the platform for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Goldcast is one of the easiest event tools I've used and offers a great experience for both event organisers and attendees.
The platform's engagement features, like polls, Q&A sharing, and video Q&A, are great for enhancing live events.
On the backend, creating templates takes no time, and I really like how easy (and fun) it is to create top-end event registration pages with the various building blocks.
Lastly, the customer support is top-notch, with our CSM who is always keeping us up to date with new releases and really listens to our needs, and I must say the chat Support Team are incredible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are just a couple of things we’d love to see improved.
It would be great if we could schedule automated emails at our preferred times rather and as we operate in various countries across Europe, I would love to see the Content Lab expand to include other languages than just English so we can take full advantage of this great feature. We used another webinar platform before switching to Goldcast and I wish we used Goldcast from the beginning. I like the modern viewing experience, engagement tools, and simplicity.
Setting up new webinars is intuitive and I like that we can create series and virtual events. The video and sound quality is very good. We haven't had any issues with it whatsoever.
What is the most exciting feature is Goldcast's AI-powered content. Any marketer will tell you how important it is to be able to repurpose webinars to create more content. However, it's really time comsuming and if you didn't have the video editing software, nearly impossible to break out the video into bit sized content pieces. With Goldcast, I can get a multi-modal blog post, video snippets for social, transcripts, and more with a click of a button. You still need to review the content and make edits but the amount of time it saves is invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike I had is not longer one since Goldcast just released a better on-demand experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Goldcast has been an incredible resource for our college. The UI is intuitive and very easy for new users to pick up. We don't have to host an in depth speaker orientation/training because the platform does such a good job of easing in new users.
The ease of creating engagement opportunities is incredible. Students have several options for interacting with the material, and stage controls make it easy to moderate and control the room. The registration is incredible, with multiple reminder emails.
The best part is the on demand function, GC making the whole event available on demand 35 minutes after it ends is great for students who have other obligations.
The experience on the customer side is also great, very easy to interact with the material and the speakers.
I use GC for work at least 2x/week with a larger session 2x/year.
Customer service is great, we have an assigned agent who is extremely knowledgable and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Goldcast recently updated their UI (it is much better and more intuitive now) but it threw my team for a loop and we had to retrain to make sure they felt comfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Goldcast was originally brought into our Organisation to replace our legacy Webinar provider. As soon as it was installed and integrated we saw so much experience improvement that we have now expanded our investment with Goldcast to now use them to fuel our Events too.
Goldcast offers a great onboarding experience, with very easy integrations that bring great insights.
We have found it easy to setup standard branded templates for our Organisation, which then lends itself fantastically to easy user onboarding and expansion.
The Customer Support experience is 2nd to none, with incredibly fast SLAs & new features constantly developed if they do not currently support our requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Goldcast is growing incredibly fast, and have shown incredibly development timeframes for new needed system features - however there have been a few areas we have required these system developments in to make Goldcast fully applicable to our Organisational needs.
User permissions were missing until recently which caused us some issues with system governance, but these are now coming online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Engagement features: It has live polling, Q&A, chats and networking spaces where users can go and network.
Easy Integration with hubspot
Post event analytics is very well designed and it gives a detail picture of the event.
We thought we will use only for Virtual Summit but the adapatability has incresed to webinars and other partner events that we host. So, the frequencey of use has been increased.
Though some areas looks like a learning curve, it becomes easy once we start hosting events.
Goldcast also supports other egangement options through integration partners (example: selfie booths) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mobile experience is not optimised and that needs to be improved.
Pricing is one other factor on the negative side. Compared to other platforms, goldcast is expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We felt the impact of Goldcast immediately. I've used all the big webinar/virtual event platforms, and Goldcast easily has resulted in the most engagement we've ever had. We went from a handful of comments and questions for a 1-hour session to receiving 100+ comments and 20+ questions every time we host a session.
The platform also has amazing AI capabilities in the Content Lab. It allows us to easily generate clips, social posts, summary blogs, and transcripts in just minutes. In the past, I would have to download the recording myself and try to remember interesting moments from a webinar to clip out and then edit the video myself. It would take hours for just one decent clip. Now, Goldcast handles it all.
In addition to the tools and features, the support team has been top-notch and super responsive. They're constantly encouraging us for feedback on the product and looking for ways to innovate/improve.
Highly highly recommend going with Goldcast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's not a lot to dislike. I'd say sometimes it can get a little confusing when creating multi-session events and understanding how the audience will move through the tracks/sessions over a couple of days. But we haven't received any complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Goldcast for its ability to seamlessly integrate with tools like Slack and Salesforce, which enhances your team's workflow. Additionally, you value its potential for creating interactive and engaging virtual events, which align with your strategy of delivering attendee-first webinars and workshops. The platform's features allow for a more dynamic and connected experience, which is crucial in your efforts to maximize engagement and deliver valuable content to your audience. The platform enhancements are changing so quickly due to customer requests, that I have to always be learning how to use it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
