Getting change orders added or corrected. Finding the right avenues of communication for correction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GCPay is very transparent between the GC and Vendors and is super easy to use! Having constrained SOVs has helped with issues of incorrect billing and GCPay has allowed a more streamlined approval process. Also SUPER amazing for keeping track of waivers, tiered waivers, and insurance.
Their support team, from their implementatoin team, development team, training, and customer support are top notch and alwasy there to help make sure everything runs smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My experience has been good so far. I'm still learning the ends and outs of the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer Service is top-notch and always available. The ease of being able to control when subcontractors can bill. Our subs cannot bill until they are fully compliant. Being able to reject an invoice or waiver and being able to leave them a reason way immediataly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) That final supplier lien waivers are only released when a subcontractor checks final in the liabilities tab. So many subcontractors miss this, and I wish the waiver would go out when the balance is down to zero. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can see the details of the job easily. How much billed, how much complete, what is the balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Entering co's are very time consuming. I wish there would be a quicker way. Or we can sync from Sage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been utilizing GCPay for our construction payments and its been an amazing additional to our software suite. Not only is it straightforward and easy to use but the continuous updates and benefits are unparalleled. The integration with our ERP system makes everything we do more efficient. Lien Waivers work differently in GCPay then how we would like them to and we are unable to utilize electronic signatures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GC Pay has been a breath of fresh air! We tried several other programs but this one has been oustanding as far as user friendly for both the subcontract and the GC. Customer Service is always easy to get in touch with and responds quickly. For the GC Side I love that I get notices everytime someone submits a pay application which is a huge time saver vs. having to go in and check constantly like others. For the Subcontractor side having the waivers right there and the capability of adding your stored material documents all at once makes it time sufficient! All in all very pleased with this program. We use procore and right now there is a disconnect as they dont interact with each other on the backside so its double work with adding contracts and change orders. HOWEVER GC Pay is currently working on the connector piece and once implemented this program will be top notch! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with GCPay Software, a tool that has significantly enhanced our workflow in the construction industry. As a general contractor with a professional background, efficiency and accuracy are paramount in our day-to-day operations. GCPay Software has proven to be an invaluable asset in achieving these objectives.
One of the standout features of GCPay Software is its capability to streamline lien waiver tracking, both at the primary and third-tier levels. This functionality has translated into a substantial reduction in the time allocated to this task, allowing our team to focus on more strategic aspects of our projects. Furthermore, the software's prowess in minimizing mistakes related to mathematical errors in pay applications has been a game-changer for us. The automated processes not only save time but also contribute to a more accurate and transparent financial reporting system.
Change order processing is another area where GCPay Software has demonstrated its excellence. The platform's user-friendly interface facilitates swift and hassle-free change order management, providing our team with the agility needed to adapt to evolving project requirements seamlessly.
I must commend the exceptional technical assistance provided by GCPay Software's support team. The availability of knowledgeable and responsive technical assistants around the clock has been instrumental in addressing any pay application issues promptly. Their commitment to customer support has undoubtedly contributed to our positive experience with the software.
In conclusion, GCPay Software has proven to be an indispensable tool in our arsenal, contributing to increased efficiency, accuracy, and overall project success. I wholeheartedly recommend this software to fellow professionals in the construction industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One notable issue we have encountered is the cumbersome nature of integrating GCPay Software with Sage. Specifically, there seems to be a challenge in ensuring that pay applications are correctly imported into our ledger. This inconvenience arises from the necessity to rename each pay application manually to align with Sage's requirements. This extra step in the process has proven to be a significant source of frustration, as it not only consumes additional time but also introduces room for errors in the renaming process.
The expectation when implementing software solutions is that they seamlessly complement existing systems, minimizing the need for manual interventions. In the case of GCPay Software and its integration with Sage, the required manual renaming of pay applications has added an unexpected layer of complexity to our workflow.
I understand that software integrations can have their challenges, but the level of effort required to ensure accurate ledger imports has been more than anticipated. I believe improvements in this aspect of the software could greatly enhance the overall user experience, especially for those relying on Sage for their financial management. My favorite thing about GCPay is how easily accessible a live support person is whenever you need assistance. Everyone I have interacted with is helpful, resourceful and someone is always available when I need them. I love how all of our subcontractors are compliant with current insurance and licensing requirements and the burden is taken away from my team and placed on the subcontractor where it belongs. The program integrates well with our current ERP and is compatible with most others we've started looking into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really isn't anything I truly dislike about GCPay. It serves us well and I think its very easy to use and get familiar with. Sometimes we have issues with mapping contracts/schedule of values and there is not quick fix in that regard. On the rare occasion when billings from subs gets too messy, we have to revert to manually entering their pay applications in our ERP and then marking them as entered/imported with GCPay supports help.
