Fyle has streamlined our processes and made it much easier for us to code miscellaneous costs to jobs. Fyle sends an automatic reminder each time your card is used so that we can quickly attach a photo of a reciept. Our Accounting clerk no longer has to text and call several people each month when trying to reconcile our credit card transactions. I love that I can "drag and drop" or screenshot an invoice from my computer and quickly link it to the transaction. The interface is user friendly and integrates well with our current processes. The features are inutitive and easy to implement. I use Fyle everyday and takes the guesswork out of job costs. Customer support is quick to respond when we have any questions. Our organization has many card holders - Fyle makes it easy for users to upload documents and quickly label them. My team no longer has to spend hours of time manually tracking down missing receipts. The text notification feautre is an added benefit in helping to ensure no fraudulent charges go a month before being discovered. Fyle is a computer system so it's only as good as the data it gets. It is a bit touchy in making sure that all account names match - if anything is off, the data has to be manually corrected and there is no user friendly fix for that - though a fix does exist. There are a lot of great features from the card holder side, but from the accounting side it can be difficult to find comments or other things the card holders input anywhere except the transaction criteria fields. Getting a notification text after each purchase is nice. It's nice to be able to reply on the text with a picture of the receipt. It is also nice when the notification text comes in and when you open the app, there's a task that needs to be reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Downsides are the glitches and delays that occurs. For some reason, when uploading pic, it transposes the month and day the receipt was uploaded. There are times that I get a text notification of the expense but when I open the app, there is no task to be completed. It at times takes at least 24 hours to show up on the app.
When replying on the text directly, you have to reply with a pic, then another text for category, then a final one to save. I find it easier to just open the app directly and upload the receipt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The mobile app is very intuitive and easy to use. you can tie your credit card to your account, so anytime it is used, Fyle will automatically create an expense and auto-fill what it can. You can even have it text you, so when you respond with a picture of the receipt, it will attach it to the expense. All around the easiest expense app and software I have ever used. It does not handle Lyft and Uber charges well. It creates 3 expenses when you get a ride, and if you take multiple rides in one day, your card will ultimately be charged once for the total of all daily rides. This means there is a lag before you can clean up the expenses in Fyle, and you cannot delete the duplicate/redundant expenses that were created when each ride was taken. The inability to delete could be due to my company's settings, but even if I could delete the expenses, it would be annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like to do things right. I like to turn in my receipts and make my deadlines. I don't need a pat on the back for this--I consider it my responsibilty. But, we had a horrible situation at work and our business manager was beyond neglient and losing receipts we turned in and not recording anything. It made me look irresponsible and neglient. With Fyle, I manage my card, I turn in my receipts, and I don't have to depend on someone else also doing their job. I am hardworking and organized, and with Fyle I don't have to do my work twice or scamble to cover someone else's negligence. I LOVE that Fyle helps me take care of my work and move on. I don't have any major issues with Fyle but I don't love the texts to my phone when something goes through. I get overwhelmed by those notifications and I am not going to stop at a register and take a picture of a receipt. I also make a lot of purchase on my computer so the text option isn't something I would use for those. I think the website and app are great and a use a combination of those--to me there is no need for the text option. But it was easy to turn off.
I would like getting an email notification of purchases to remind me of things like subscriptions and autopays but I don't see that as an option. I know I could get those as texts but I would prefer to keep it in my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We previously had a manual receipt submission process, requiring much back-and-forth at the end of the month. Fyle provides real-time text notifications, and allows users to upload a picture through text message, in addition to the website and app.
We use Fyle daily, and have integrated this process into our organization easily..This has been a complete game-changer, as our records are processed easily and with almost zero missing receipts!

I haven't identified any strong downsides to Fyle. The Outlook web app is a great feature, but sometimes doesn't launch successfully, but the text messaging and web interface have functioned reliably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can upload receipts right after a purchase but sending a photo and I can input all the information through the automated text message. It keeps me from having to frantically save receipts or pile up tasks for later after arriving back to the office from purchasing trips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The email reminders to fyle receipts is only helpful when I have reciepts that need fyled. Otherwise, getting thos emails when I thought I was finished with my fyles makes me panic slightly that I did not finish something and can take up time for me to go in and check. Not a huge deal though to be honest. Overall this is a great system.
