Our product team uses it a lot. As administrators, we found it easy to create custom events whether through API or the UI. Plus, there's a variety of metrics that we can choose and they're easy to be implemented to provide meaningful metrics. For casual users, what we've heard is that the data is easy to consume. For someone who's a beginner to analytics, they may have a bit of learning curve to navigate FullStory. I found the documentation is always helpful and my go-to. Some things that can be improved is the unmasking and RBAC. It'd be great if we can highlight which parts of the website that we want to unmask without doing it one-by-one. For RBAC, I create a lot of Spaces and I would like it if people can access only the Spaces they're assigned to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very helpful in showing what customers have done in our application and when. We use it frequently in our support, and it's very easy to see their actions to drill down the root cause. I also love the logs it provides, as they're helpful for Jira bug tickets. Having the ability to choose the playback speed as well as skipping activity toggled on and off is amazing, as well! I would like to be able to see the documents the customers are seeing within FS since we're able to log into the cutsomer organizations to see them anyway - it would be nice to just be able to review it during the FS videos.
I would like to see timezones within the times under the videos so we know exactly when the customer was doing their activities.
I would also like to be able to set how many seconds back to rewind. 7 seconds seems a bit arbitrary, and I'd love to configure anything from 1 to 60 seconds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using FullStory for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for understanding how users interact with our website. One of the coolest features is the ability to watch back user sessions. It’s like sitting next to your users as they navigate your site. You can see where they click, where they get stuck, and what catches their interest. Another thing I love about FullStory is how it handles Personally Identifiable Information (PII). You can easily filter out sensitive data, which is a big deal for privacy and compliance. While FullStory is an incredibly powerful tool, the vast amount of data it provides can sometimes be overwhelming. With so much information at your fingertips, it can be challenging to sift through and pinpoint the most critical insights. The search options and ability to see real-time and/or recorded customers navigating our website are so helpful. The rage click filter is also great to see pain points. We use it monthly and it has been super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you reach out to ask about new features they promote or to ask for help, they just direct you to predone tutorials. Which is they were great training and searchable I would understand. We don't get enough value to want to keep, but learned the hard way they have an evergreen clause and you have to cancel months before or they wont cancel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fullstory has allowed our support team to provide quicker and more efficient solutions to clients. Where we used to have to follow up with the client several times, we can now see the exact steps they have taken and what errors were produced. While Fullstory is relatively easy to use, there is a learning curve. While I can usually find what I'm looking for, there are likely other ways to go by searching that would get me the session I'm looking for much quicker. I usually search by name, but there are also instances where the user is listed twice with a different naming convention and it's difficult to tell which one to choose. e.g. First Name Last Name or Last Name, First Name. Fullstory is very helpful in gaining "What your users actually do" types of insights from our public-facing web products. It is a fantastic tool for gauging individual session usage as well as over-arching metrics on user behavior. Getting through qualitative analysis like Session replays takes time, and I am sure over time they will continue to develop better tools and interfaces to gain insights without watching full sessions. My team is able to craft customer journeys based on user sessions and the metrics that we capture. The dashboards are configuarable to our own team's workflows. Watching our customers use the app in ways we only have ever been able to capture through many back an forth conversations and multiple screenshots.
